App State football made history on Saturday... but not the kind of history we'd like to make.  Unfortunately the Mountaineers ran into a laundry list of elements that ultimately culminated into facing a very talented Western Kentucky offense and legendary quarterback in Baily Zappe. 

Yes we lost our first bowl game. Yes we lost our first conference championship game a few weeks ago. Yes we're  upset at the way the season ended. But we're black and gold to the core and we know brighter days, with happier endings, are directly in front of us.
