Jill is a former prosecutor turned cannabis attorney and has been practicing since 2001 when she first became licensed in Georgia. Serving as a public defender, then as an Atlanta felony prosecutor, Jill then joined Andy in private criminal defense practice in 2012. She served as a Visiting Professional in the Office of the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Court in The Hague, Netherlands. She co-founded a criminal justice non-profit, The Georgia Innocence Project, which over the past twenty years has worked to exonerate the wrongfully convicted.

The most comprehensive analysis of the subject matter to date, the Women in Cannabis Study seeks to both inform and inspire through the power of storytelling. Created through the desire to build an equitable and inclusive industry where everyone can feel safe, be heard, and succeed, the Report offers a thought-provoking narrative that hopes to raise the bar higher. Jennifer Wetzel, the author and founder of the study (among other things,) invited me into her home this week to debrief myself and our listeners with important details about this study, as well as connected topics. Artist. Creator. Visionary. Kate Randall is a self-taught artist who started painting in 2019 to cope with mental health struggles. Randall fell in love with creating things (anything, really), but art especially has provided her with a healthy outlet and an opportunity to break stigmas against cannabis and to bring art to the community.

Losia started her journey in the cannabis space when DC legalized recreational marijuana in 2015. Taking advantage of the current laws and exposing others to the joys of growing, Losia started her first brand growithLisa, to connect aspiring growers with local grow consultants to help them on their journey. After relocating less than an hour away in Maryland things drastically changed for Losia. No longer legally able to grow weed in her home, she got active in her local NORML (National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws). Eager to encourage conversations around the legalization of cannabis and home growing, Losia formed Cannaration: a company dedicated to incorporating cannabis into decorations and celebrations.
