Imagine this: you slide on your boots, slap on your ten-gallon hat, strap on your chaps and holster, and take your trusty sidearm in hand. You stare down your opponent at the other end of the street -- and realize it's GOD! You're doomed!

Sin causes us to feel guilty and insecure. It takes -- and breeds -- courage when we make decisions to be righteous as God requires.

We trust chefs to cook our food, pilots to fly us safely from city to city and surgeons to cut us open -- having no idea who those people really are. Why shouldn't we even more trust the God we no loves us beyond measure.

Trying to be like Jesus is a monumental undertaking -- especially if you don't understand what it is he REALLY wants from us.

Think God can't use you? Think you're beyond repair? Remember, God chose traitors, tax collectors and a Christian killer as the founding members of His perfect church. God can certainly use you - and definitely wants you in His family!

Do you believe the is only one God and Jesus is His Son? If so, congratulations; you've at least reached the faith level of a demon! Actually making Jesus Lord of your life takes so much more!

Have you ever noticed how bold you can be when working together with someone else? How much better your prayers are? That's because God designed us to be a community of believers, not a bunch of individuals.

A worldly Christian is like a penguin who tap dances; the two don't exist. You can't call yourself a Christian and be addicted to the things the world thinks are important, be filled with lust or be practicing "Lone Ranger Christianity".
