  • 82: Held Accountable
This week we use the example of Jeremiah as a catalyst to the idea that we can hold God accountable for His word.

Power Punch Writing Prompt: Write your name + garden at the top of a sheet of paper, ex "Destanee's Garden". In various boxes, fill in the different seeds that have been sown in your garden. This could be a talent you have, your caring nature, a recent accomplishment.
Once you have an outline of what seeds have been placed in your garden, take a moment of gratitude for the seeds that have been planted in the garden of your life. Make a decision on what seeds you want to continue to water in this season to continue to nurture your garden.

  • 80: LIVE SHOW: Know Your Worth
Knowing your worth comes from an internal confirmation, not external validation.

Power Punch Writing Prompt: What's your power?

This episode we were able to partner with our sponsor Anomaly New York to donate to The Youth Will Be All Write. The Youth Will Be All Write is a social justice initiative, founded by Trinity Simone, created to amplify the voices of institutionalized and incarcerated youth nationwide via the donation of composition notebooks. Notebooks not only act as outlets for self expression, but also as a form of rehabilitation. With an evident positive correlation between creative writing and those who partake in these actions, it is proven that after utilizing these outlets the majority will hold an improved mental state, an advanced social skill set, and undergo a therapeutic healing process.

  • 77: The Mark of the Doer
James 1:22 "But prove yourselves doers of the word [actively and continually obeying God’s precepts], and not merely listeners [who hear the word but fail to internalize its meaning], deluding yourselves [by unsound reasoning contrary to the truth]."

You prove yourself by being a doer of the Word.

Some people move about life and things happen to them, they respond to things and they say words. But Doers are marked by having a Word that they carry before they move. Their moves are calculated and they are blessed + favored by God.

Power Punch Writing Prompt: What are you doing? Does it have lasting impact, based on the Word?

  • 74: Opposites Don't Attract
With the New Year upon us, our goals, visions and ambitions are fresh in our minds as we look to tackle it all.

What we often don't do is take the time to recognize what we don't want as a part of our journey. Keeping these things in mind can help us stay on the path God outlined for us. We want to remain in alignment because opposite moves don't attract God's promises!

Power Punch Writing Prompt: Look up the antonym to your word of the year or think about what the opposite of your goals would look like.
Knowing what you don't want is just as important as knowing what you do!
