Failure is temporary.
School gives you knowledge but life gives you experiences. Experiences are what really matter. Making mistakes gives experiences and we learn and grow from these. Success is simply a matter of surviving your mistakes and the challenges that are thrown your way. 

Take chances in life, feel disappointment, then get back up and face the next challenge, this is how you grow as a person. Feeling emotions is important, it's part of being human and it's part of the experience we know as "life". 

In this episode Nat discusses the lessons that she learnt as a teenager, from how she got through the hard days when she was didn't feel accepted by who she thought were her friends at school, through to getting through relationship break ups.

It's been a discussion that has been happening for months between myself and a like minded friend. Each time we catch up, our casual chats head off on a variety of tangents, and at the end of each encounter, we comment on how many other people probably feel the same, or should know this information, or who we could help. So at last, we surrendered, lightened up and let the power of positive intention lead us into doing a podcast together. 

This is the first of many episodes to follow, we plan on discussing the topics that are relevant in our lives. Topics such as Grounding, Circadian Rhythm, Female cycles, hormones, HRT, EMF's, Sunlight, detoxing, autoimmunity, Fasting, Insulin, energy, being a mum, being a wife, finding our own passions, mentoring and so so much more.

On todays podcast, Nat welcomes 71 year old Ed to share his life story and the challenges he is facing after being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease at the age of 65, a year after the heart breaking loss of his wife. 

Ed gives an insight into what it was like for his family to immigrate to Western Australia from Wales when he was just 10 years old. He speaks fondly of his experiences working outdoors on farms and in his own lawn mowing business. 

As a conscious minded individual, Ed enjoys meditation and has also run classes at the Buddhist Centre in Bunbury. Ed see's his life as just "normal" no different to anyone else. However, we all have a story and experiences to share. Ed is facing the challenge of Parkinson's disease, the loss of his partner and being estranged from his son, however he remains optimistic and lives by the motto "never give up, just keep going".
