What I loved about this convo was that Francesca is so young (27) and is already figuring out the birds eye view of her life. Her misdiagnosis / lengthy journey to answers around disordered eating + PCOS showed her a wake up call on the life she was starting to build.

So she decided to switch things up and is now in school to become a Registered Dietician! She says she doesn't have a business yet, but she does!! She is creating a strategy to have momentum in her biz meet her at the end of school so she can transition right into working.

Starting a business and making money don't go hand in hand (SAY WHAT!). Well, it's true and yet here we go, down the rabbit hole because our inner voice, soul, higher self, knows that what we have to share has to come out, or else!

What I love about Nichole is that she does what is needed to move the needle. Which means she doesn't solely rely on business income to bring in money. Besides, you never know what opportunities may come your way when you are out there sharing, working and meeting new people. Let's be real, to get success you have to make it work for where you're at!

Nichole is a freaking bad ass, she does more before breakfast than I do in a week (not to compare....!). I am just in awe of her clarity on what she wants to accomplish and how she puts the pieces together to make it happen.

Her previous 'day job' was as a nonprofit exec in the informal learning/museum space. She is now formalizing her credentials as a trauma-informed coach. These are not the same thing at all! And while raising 3 kids by herself, she is finishing up her MA in i/o psychology with a coaching and consulting concentration!

Ok Amanda and I are peas in a pod. We are the ones who keep the chaos under control for the wildly creative and possibly ADHD folks out there who just aren't wired this way. So I had a blast chatting with her because we totally get each other and the work we do. And just when I thought I might lose her when I shared that I gave up on my underwear drawer, she sealed the deal with a reveal of her own (near the end!).

Amanda made the transition from employee to entrepreneur very strategically, planning out how and when she would quit months in advance, running budgets and talking to her husband a lot about minimum revenues and impact at home. She also had conversations with her then employer about her plans. I found this so bold and brave, and showed a real commitment to herself and her vision.

And she is killing it, already over $100k a year with a team of organizers, Amanda's business is taking on a life of its own as she looks at speaking opportunities, corporate clients, and getting into the trade show side of things (both attending and hosting).

I am so happy to have made a new friend and found continued inspiration in helping others stay organized in a busy world!
