Carol is a planner, always preparing for what's coming up next. As the new year approaches, other people tend to do the same thing, and watching it brings to mind our need to release what's old to keep from picking it up again. Rev. Bill points out that this is a specific example of the process in a Practical Prayer, in which we identify what's not working, pivot to what we want instead, and then take steps to bring ourselves into the consciousness of the new experience.
