If someone makes an outrageous claim, they need to be prepared to back it up with extraordinary evidence. When Jesus arrived, heralded as the Lamb of God and calling followers to believe in him, he provided a series of noteworthy signs that pointed to his glory. This week in our "Come to the Table" series, we see Jesus deliver a family from shame by providing wine at a feast. Salvation came to them in a small way - has it come for you as well?

This week in our "Come to the Table" series, we see Jesus deliver a family from shame by providing wine at a feast. Salvation came to them in a small way - has it come for you as well?

Slavery isn't just an issue for history class - it's a real problem around the world today, and its toxic effects last for generations. But in what way are we ALL born as slaves? In our slavery to sin. In our second "Come To The Table" sermon, we see how God used the Passover meal to depict his deliverance of his people. The lamb's blood, the bitter herbs, the urgency - each part helped Israel remember their slavery in Egypt, and helps us understand our own slavery to sin. Only through Christ's death and new life can we be delivered - and that's a story worth sharing and repeating!
