The apostle Paul wrote to the Philippians in chapter four, verse nineteen: "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus." What a magnificent truth, Father. Your resources are infinite. Your glory is beyond measure. Not one of Your children will ever be in genuine lack when they seek Your kingdom first. The book of Proverbs, chapter three, verses nine and ten says: "Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine." When we honor You with our finances, You make a way for overflowing blessings. These are covenant promises sealed by the blood of Jesus. Father God, we intercede now for every listener who is facing a financial mountain today. Perhaps bills are piling up on the kitchen counter and the account balance shows a number that brings dread. Perhaps debt feels like a crushing weight that will never lift. Lord, we bring these needs to You right now with faith and expectation. You told us not to worry about what we will eat or drink or wear. Help us to trust You in these areas, Father.
