בָּרְכִי נַפְשִׁי אֶת יְיָ, יְיָ אֱלֹהַי גָּדַֽלְתָּ מְאֹד, הוֹד וְהָדָר לָבָֽשְׁתָּ:
עֽוֹטֶה אוֹר כַּשַּׂלְמָה, נוֹטֶה שָׁמַֽיִם כַּיְרִיעָה:
בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְיָ, אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ מֶֽלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם,
אֲשֶׁר קִדְּשָׁנוּ בְּמִצְוֹתָיו וְצִוָּֽנוּ לְהִתְעַטֵּף בְּצִיצִת.
Blessed are You, God our Lord, King of the universe, Who has sanctified us with His commandments and commanded us concerning the mitzvah of tzitzis
My soul, bless God. God, my Lord, You are sublimely exalted: You have donned glory and splendor. You wrap [the world] in light as with a garment; You spread the heavens like a curtain.

אֵֽלּוּ דְבָרִים שֶׁאֵין לָהֶם שִׁעוּר:
These are the precepts for which no fixed measure is prescribed:
הַפֵּאָה, וְהַבִּכּוּרִים,
leaving the crops at the edge of a field for the poor, the offering of the first fruits,
וְהָרְאָיוֹן, וּגְמִילוּת חֲסָדִים, וְתַלְמוּד תּוֹרָה:
the pilgrimage offerings brought when appearing before God, acts of kindness, and the study of the Torah.
אֵֽלּוּ דְבָרִים שֶׁאָדָם אוֹכֵל פֵּרוֹתֵיהֶם בָּעוֹלָם הַזֶּה
These are the precepts for whose observance man enjoys the fruits in this world,
וְהַקֶּֽרֶן קַיֶּֽמֶת לָעוֹלָם הַבָּא, וְאֵֽלּוּ הֵן:
while the principal remains for him in the World to Come. They are:
כִּבּוּד אָב וָאֵם, וּגְמִילוּת חֲסָדִים,
honoring one’s father and one’s mother, acts of kindness,
וְהַשְׁכָּמַת בֵּית הַמִּדְרָשׁ שַׁחֲרִית וְעַרְבִית,
going early to the House of Study in the morning and the evening,
וְהַכְנָסַת אוֹרְחִים, וּבִקּוּר חוֹלִים, וְהַכְנָסַת כַּלָּה, וְהַלְוָיַת הַמֵּת,
osting wayfarers, visiting the sick, providing for a bride, escorting the dead,
וְעִיּוּן תְּפִלָּה, וַהֲבָאַת שָׁלוֹם שֶׁבֵּין אָדָם לַחֲבֵרוֹ,
focusing during prayer, bringing peace between one man and another,
וּבֵין אִישׁ לְאִשְׁתּוֹ,
and between a husband and his wife.
וְתַלְמוּד תּוֹרָה כְּנֶֽגֶד כֻּלָּם:
And the study of the Torah is equivalent to them all.

And God spoke to Moshe, saying: “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying:
כֹּה תְבָרֲכוּ אֶת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל, אָמוֹר לָהֶם:
‘Thus shall you bless the Children of Yisrael. Say to them:
יְבָרֶכְךָ יְיָ וְיִשְׁמְרֶֽךָ:
“May God bless you and protect you.
יָאֵר יְיָ | פָּנָיו אֵלֶֽיךָ, וִיחֻנֶּֽךָּ:
May God shine His countenance upon you and be gracious to you.
יִשָּׂא יְיָ | פָּנָיו אֵלֶֽיךָ, וְיָשֵׂם לְךָ שָׁלוֹם:
May God turn His countenance to you and grant you peace.”
וְשָׂמוּ אֶת שְׁמִי עַל בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל, וַאֲנִי אֲבָרֲכֵם:
And they shall place My name upon the Children of Yisrael, and I will bless them.’”

regarding the words of Torah.
וְהַעֲרֶב נָא יְיָ אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ אֶת דִּבְרֵי תוֹרָתְךָ בְּפִֽינוּ,
Please, God, our Lord, make the words of the Torah sweet in our mouths
וּבְפִי כָל עַמְּךָ בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל,
and in the mouths of all Your people, the House of Yisrael.
וְנִהְיֶה אֲנַֽחְנוּ וְצֶאֱצָאֵֽינוּ, וְצֶאֱצָאֵי כָל עַמְּךָ בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל,
May we and our offspring, and the offspring of Your entire people, the House of Yisrael,
כֻּלָּֽנוּ יוֹדְעֵי שְׁמֶֽךָ וְלוֹמְדֵי תוֹרָתְךָ לִשְׁמָהּ.
all know Your name and study Your Torah for its own sake.

Blessed are You, God, Who teaches the Torah to His people Yisrael.

Blessed are You, God our Lord, King of the universe,
אֲשֶׁר קִדְּשָֽׁנוּ בְּמִצְוֹתָיו, וְצִוָּֽנוּ
Who has sanctified us with His commandments and Who has commanded us
עַל דִּבְרֵי תוֹרָה:
regarding the words of Torah.
וְהַעֲרֶב נָא יְיָ אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ אֶת דִּבְרֵי תוֹרָתְךָ בְּפִֽינוּ,
Please, God, our Lord, make the words of the Torah sweet in our mouths
וּבְפִי כָל עַמְּךָ בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל,
and in the mouths of all Your people, the House of Yisrael.
וְנִהְיֶה אֲנַֽחְנוּ וְצֶאֱצָאֵֽינוּ, וְצֶאֱצָאֵי כָל עַמְּךָ בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל,
May we and our offspring, and the offspring of Your entire people, the House of Yisrael,
כֻּלָּֽנוּ יוֹדְעֵי שְׁמֶֽךָ וְלוֹמְדֵי תוֹרָתְךָ לִשְׁמָהּ.
all know Your name and study Your Torah for its own sake.
