  • Prayers If You Are Feeling Overwhelmed_Day 1

If life becomes too overwhelming and steals your joy, you can begin to remove the unnecessary stuff.

If you are not sure what to keep and what to let go of, ask God for guidance.

Not sure how to do that, join me this week as we will pray that God takes away our worry and helps us become more present.

    Join our Weekly Newsletter HERE.

    ACTION STEPS:

    1) Breathe, when you are feeling overwhelmed, by simply breathing you can calm your anxious feelings.

    2) Ask God to guide your steps and help you decide what you should say yes and no to for your future. If you don't know what to do, follow the last instructions God gave you; worship, read your bible, and pray.

    3) Don't keep your feelings to yourself. Let your husband and kids know how you are feeling. Ask for help from those that love you.

    4) Listen to Prayers From a Mom Podcast this week Monday-Thursday as we cover our thoughts and decisions in prayer.

    FOCUSED PRAYER:

    Father,

I'm overwhelmed by everything on my to-do list. I know I do this to myself by overcommitting. You know my heart God, you know I want to be involved in my kid's life and give them every opportunity. I let myself worry about things in their future that haven't even happened yet. I know you have gone before me into my child's future to make a way. I don't want to jump ahead of your plans for my family. When I get overwhelmed I will seek you God and follow your guidance. Help me share my feelings of being overwhelmed with those that love me and ask for help when I am tired and worn out.

    In Jesus Name, Amen!

    THIS WEEK'S SCRIPTURES:

  • Praying for Kids Struggling with ADHD_Day 4

This week we will pray that God guides us and directs us to do what is best for our ADHD child. We will pray that everyone who loves our kids will work together for their good.

    Join our Weekly Newsletter HERE.

    ACTION STEPS:

    1) Seek God first when making these tough decisions.

    2) Involve your kids, spouse, and co-parents in the discussions when you are having to choose what is best. Ask your child what helps them feel successful. You can't always make everyone happy, but you won't feel like you are doing this alone and the decision falls solely on you.

    3) Be open to hearing outside opinions, even professionals. But ultimately make choices that are best for your child, not what the doctors, your friends, your parents, or school says is best.

    4) Listen to Prayers From a Mom Podcast this week Monday-Thursday as we cover our decisions in prayer.

    FOCUSED PRAYER:

    Father,

You formed my child's innermost being, shaping their delicate inside and intricate outside, and wove them all together in my womb. Thank you for making my child so mysteriously complex! You carefully, skillfully shaped them from nothing to something. You saw whom you created them to be before they were even born! I know you don't make mistakes, therefore I trust you have great plans for him/her and you will use even their ADHD to prosper and flourish them in those plans. Father, when I have to make a decision for my child, give me the wisdom to know what is best. Sometimes I feel so alone and scared in making the right choice for my child. Help me lean on my support system to make the hard choices and trust you will take care of my child every step of the way.

    In Jesus Name, Amen!

    THIS WEEK'S SCRIPTURES:
