No matter where Paul is chased from or to, he can’t stop talking about Jesus. But, depending who he’s speaking to, he approaches it a little differently. We see him move on from Thessalonia to Berea to Athens and we see trouble stalking him along the way.

Paul and Silas are beaten and thrown in jail and then miraculously freed...but they don’t take advantage of their circumstances to escape.

They choose another path. We pray today about responding to our circumstances with intention.

Ministry misunderstandings. Miraculous healings. Attempts on Paul’s life. Many people coming to know Jesus. In one chapter, we see the incredible highs and lows that Paul and Barnabas experienced. While we may not experience the kind of or degree of drama present in this chapter, we certainly have highs and lows of our own. We pray through this chapter with an understanding of what gets us through those seasons and events.
