In Chapters 27-28, the prophecies against Tyre continue, although they take an unexpected turn, seemingly looking behind the curtain of the earthly realm that we normally see, to the spiritual realm that we do not. In it, we see that pride is a sin that is judged by God. Be it an entire city trusting in itself – an arrogant king believing himself to be a god – or a once-angelic cherub seemingly doing the same…all arrogance against God is cast down by God.
