Suffering is hard, and it is real…but the glory offered by Jesus is far better. For those who have faith in Christ, the best is yet to come!

Out of God’s grace, He has chosen us and loves us. What is the only right response? To serve Him alone, and that means we remember Him always.

Now that we’ve been made part of God’s family, what is our family duty? To go to war against our flesh and put it to death by the power of the Holy Spirit.

In ourselves, we are powerless in the war against sin, but God gives us power and victory through the Holy Spirit.

What is the greatest commandment, the summary of all the Lord? Love God with everything – remember Him at all times…and for it, rely on Jesus always!

In Christ, Christians face no condemnation. We aren’t condemned, but sin is.

When Moses reviewed the Ten Commandments with Israel, the call was given to the nation to obey. Are God’s people called to obey Him? Yes! And thankfully, He has given us a Mediator when we fall short. Jesus is our Mediator, and He is our ultimate law-keeper as well.

In the war between our flesh and our desire to do right, we need a rescue. Thankfully, we have a rescuer in Jesus!

Before Moses reviewed the law of God with Israel, he first gave them their charge. We too, have been charged: heed the Lord! (And we can, through Christ!)

Regarding the question if the law is sinful, the answer is no. God has a purpose in the law: to take us to Christ. Don’t abuse the law: it’s a vehicle for the gospel!
