Preach the Word!

There are a lot of men in the Bible, but does God *only* use men? No. God uses men and women for His purposes. God can use any one at any time to accomplish His holy will and to give Him glory.

The Bible covers all topics…even controversial ones. For all the ways our culture defiles sex, there is a right way of Biblical expression: within marriage.

When Israel began its cycle of apostasy and repentance during the time of the judges, it may have appeared that things were in chaos and out of control. Not so. God was in charge the entire time, from Israel’s judgment to Israel’s deliverance.

Does what we do with our bodies matter? Does God care what happens with us, physically? Yes! God has a purpose for our physical bodies as we are the temple of the Holy Spirit.

Sin can be terribly cyclical, as Judges 2 points out of ancient Israel. Like a dog returning to its vomit, so did the nation constantly go back to sin, despite the work of God among them. The cycle can be broken, but only through Jesus.
