What seems to be a random bunch of laws is Moses’ exhortation to Israel to live as the holy people God had made them to be. Israel was God’s camp, and His people are to reflect God’s love and grace towards others.

After all the doctrine Paul gave about the gospel, the question in the book of Romans now becomes: what do we do with it? We live it out! Jesus gave all for us; we give all for Him.

God’s people are to reflect God’s goodness and purity among their cities, in their neighborly relations, and in their families. We are to show the goodness of our God to all the world!

God has a plan to save Jew and Gentile, which was formed in His eternal counsel. God’s plan of salvation is amazing! He is the infinitely wise God!

God has a plan to save His people, and His plan includes us. Are we available to be used by Him?

The government that honors God is the government that is submitted to Him and to His word.

God left a believing remnant among His overall rebellious people. Why? Because when it comes to mankind’s stubborn blindness, God’s grace is greater!

God’s people are to distinguish the true from the false by seeing whom God has sent according to His word. Seek God’s truth by seeking God’s Son with God’s Scripture.

God is the great Giver! God gave gifts to Israel like: redemption, food, judges, and kings. Likewise, He gives to us our redemption, provision, His word, and His Son as the King of kings.

How can someone be saved? What is enough? Neither zeal nor obedience is enough for salvation; only faith in Christ is enough.
