The holiday season is suppose to be a relaxing time meant for spending time with friends and families. Many also celebrate religious traditions with family or their place of worship. Problem is that it comes with a cost and that cost is stress.

Holiday Stress is more common than many would believe. It is said that over fourty five percent of Americans would perfer to skip Christmas. And 39.9% of Americans would skip the holiday seasons in general this year due to the stress of it. We know that not everyone celebrate the holidays however for those that don't celebrate even going about their day to day life can create stress due to traffic, individual's attitudes and trying to simply shop at stores or malls can create stress. 

Stress not only affect adults. There was a study conducted that indicated that even childrenand animals can be stressed by the holidays. So let's talk about how to reduce holiday stress. Today it appears that many are stepping away from the house of God for whatever reason. This is causing some concerns as it appears that many are witnessing so much destruction in our homes, communities, and now in our place of worship. For instance alcohol and drug addiction is on the rise, abuse in many ways is no longer a secret. And individuals are living outside of the will of God. Is it possible that one can love their family members too much? Do you have family members that are too messy or always in your business?With the holidays approaching how do you deal with an enmeshed family or family members? 

Enmeshment is a description of a relationship between two or more people in which personal boundaries are permeable and unclear. This often happens on an emotional level in which two people feel each other's emotion or when when one person becomes emotionally escalated and the other family members does as well.
