When it comes to the topic of sex such is a topic that both many Believers and Non-Believers cringe when it comes up especially when it comes to talking to our children or youth about. However if this topic is not discussed it can lead to life full of confusion which cold possibly be avoided. There are also adults that could benefit from learnnng what the Bible says about sex. We all know that there is no such thing as the perfect parent. However as precious and rewarding that being a parent can be many individuals are finding themselves parenting with a difficult parent. Such parent does not have to live outside of the home. Parenting conflicts can occur while living under the same roof as well as while residing in separate homes. It appears that today our children are under attack. Today’s news and social media is consumed with missing and abducted children. Some stories are not given coverage yet the lives of their families are also destroyed. The month of October is the time many acknowledge breast cancer. Many organizationsand communities provide events to educate others as it relates to modern technology and prevention methods to assist with breast cancer.

In 2008 I lost my mother to breast cancer at the age of 59. In honor of ReJean Brooks-Sistrunk and others please join me along with others as we talk about this disease that has taken the lives of many. Prevention can help save lives. Many individuals appear to worry and indicate having symptoms of anxiety as it relates to what is going on in the world today. I have heard it be said if you are going to worry don’t pray. If you are going to pray don’t worry. However don’t do both. As a Believer how do you fight the symptoms of anxiety? As a therapist I know that anxiety is real and can affect anyone. Many individuals are also striving to gain knowledge as it relates to mental health symptoms however let’s not forget about trusting God and casting all of our cares onhim.

With resources, information and options the goal is to educate and save lives yet domestic violence is still an epidemic which continues to destroy lives of many individuals. When it comes to sin there is nothing that you can hide from God. No one is without sin. Yet many will justify their actions and often repeat the behavior. It is said that Jesus died for our sins. However as I was putting the show together I learned that there are some sins that one will commit in secret. There are other sins that one may not know that such was a sin.

When it comes to relationships especially for church members how should adultery be addressed? This is a subject that many pastors as well as others often appear to avoid for many reasons. However it is worth having a conversation about. Adultery not only effect the individuals involved it also impact the lives of others. Often individuals realize that one can not say who shoud be together however what does the Bible say about Adultery. Not to mention when it is happening in the church. Did you know that there are many forms of homelessness? Many may also not know that there are several different causes that can lead to homelessness. One of which being affordable housing. Homelessness affects everyone on many different levels yet it appears to be minized and often ignored. It is also being indicated that homelessness is affecting our seniors as well as our veterans. Many individuals are also one disaster away from homelessness. It affects individuals with mental health and substance abuse issues, transitioning from foster care as well as those that are released from jail or prision. It can also occur after the death of a family member. This is just to name a few life challenges.

Last year it was reported that around 552,830 people were experiencing homelessness in the United States which that number is now probably higher. Such was indicated by National Alliance to End Homelessness. In September 2019 The Council Of Economic Advisers addressed The State Of Homelessness In America.

Understanding homelessness can be complex. And for those that are experiencing such it could be devastating especially when children are involved. Join Blossom Rogers author of "From Under A Bridge"  and others as we discuss this topic. As a Believer it appears that many individuals struggle with understanding the true meaning of repentance. I have heard it be said that God is a forgiving God. However, could it be that like man God also wants to see a commitment to change for the better so that one does not repeat what was done?
