I know not everyone shares my faith or believes in the same God that I do, but there’s a saying that has stayed with me through thick and thin. Though I’ve spoken it and believed it before, I’ve now decided to embrace it wholeheartedly: to place my hope, faith, and trust in God. Or, for those who see it differently, to trust that the universe knows what’s meant for me. What’s mine will find me, without resistance, doubt, or fear.

"Let God take the wheel" became my guiding mantra for 2024, born from a time when everything in my life felt like it was falling apart. It’s my reminder to surrender, trust the process, and keep moving forward with faith that brighter days are ahead. 🌟

At times, I find it easier to record my thoughts and feelings rather than express them directly. Perhaps it’s the fear of overwhelming them emotionally, or maybe it’s simply my way of processing. Either way, this is my little refuge, where I let my emotions breathe freely without the weight of expectation/immediate vulnerability.

Friendship boundaries—let’s talk about them because, honestly, they don’t get nearly enough attention. While we pour so much energy into defining the limits of our romantic or familial relationships, our platonic connections often get left on autopilot. But shouldn’t they deserve the same care? Establishing clear, non-negotiable standards in friendships is essential for personal growth and day-to-day understanding. What behaviours will you accept, and what won’t you tolerate in a friend? Have you taken the time to consider this? It might be the missing piece holding your friendships back from reaching their next level.

Not me saying I don’t want to get into things and then immediately getting into things. Classic me, right? I sound like I’m high, but nope—just super happy and delirious from a serious lack of sleep. So yeah, enjoy listening to my sleep-deprived ramblings! 😅

Okay, maybe I was a little angry—just a bit frustrated, lol. My goal in any relationship is to never let myself feel this way about someone again. If someone shows me who they really are a few times, and I know that’s not what I want in my life, I need to learn to move on. But the real question is, how? How do I let go of people like that, especially when they haven’t done anything majorly wrong?
