Young moms aren't usually seen as high risk, but 23-year-old Jerrika Latham experienced numerous complications throughout pregnancy that she suspects was due to her endometriosis.

By 28 weeks, she started to dilate, went into labor at 32 weeks, and stopped it until she needed to be induced and then sent for an urgent C-section at 35 weeks. Her daughter will be 9 months on April 30th and is doing great given the circumstances surrounding her birth.

In this episode she shares how she advocated for her herself and her baby, and wants all moms going through the birth process to know that it's okay to ask for help.
