In Episode 32, I interview Jessica Martin the Founder of Over The Chessboard, which provides chess instruction in the Greater Charlotte area, including Lake Norman. She originally hails from Canada and spent the greater part of her childhood in Tucson, Arizona. After beginning her chess teaching career at Chess in the Schools for six years, she taught in Tucson for a few years before foundingOver The Chessboard, in Charlotte in 2008. She is a published author, having written "My First Chess Book" and "How to Play Chess For Kids."

In Episode 31, I interview Ron Anderson, a guitarist and rock-composer. Ron founded three successful bands- Rat At Rat R, The Molecules and PAK. He appears on over 70 releases, most recently in 2018 PAK - Bestial. He has also preformed all around the world, throughout the U.S, Europe, Japan and beyond. I became friends with Ron in the mid 2000s as he worked at the Marshall Chess Club. We discuss his passion for music, transferrable skills between music and chess, the importance of being flexible, his time working at the Marshall Chess Club, and much more.
