John Brickson is based in Dallas, TX and has more than seven years of experience in commercial real estate financing and investing. In his current role with Old Capital, John is actively involved in financing commercial real estate assets in Texas and across the country for both new and experienced investors. John has experience working with a variety of Commercial Real Estate capital providers, including banks, life companies, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, debt funds, and CMBS conduit lenders. Prior to joining Old Capital in February of 2018, John was based in Dallas and originated new commercial real estate debt investments at two different national real estate funds. John began his career at BMO Harris Bank in Chicago, where he completed the Bank’s formal credit training program and was a member of the commercial real estate financing group. Originally from Kansas City, John earned a B.A in Economics from DePauw University.

Amy Wan is Founder & CEO of Bootstrap Legal, which automates real estate syndication legal documents, and co-founder and CEO of Sagewise, a legaltech blockchain company. She hosts The Law and Blockchain Podcast (a show on The Bitcoin Podcast Network) and has authored the Bloomberg Law practice guide to ICOs and Lexis Nexus' Private Equity practice guide. Previously, she was a Partner at a boutique securities law firm and General Counsel at a real estate crowdfunding platform. Amy founded Legal Hackers LA, which programs around the intersection of law and technology; was named one of ten women to watch in legal technology by the American Bar Association Journal in 2014 and one of 18 millennials changing legaltech by law.com in 2018; and was nominated as a Finalist for the Corporate Counsel of the Year Award 2015 by LA Business Journal.

Amy has also worked in international regulatory and trade policy at the U.S. Department of Commerce, and was a Presidential Management Fellow at the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Department of Transportation. She holds an LL.M. in Public International Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science, a JD from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, and a BA in Biological Sciences from the University of Southern California.

Brandon is the Founder/CEO of The Real Estate CPA. Brandon works with real estate investors, syndicates, and private equity funds to optimize tax positions and streamline accounting and business functions.

Brandon worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young prior to launching his own CPA firm, Hall CPA PLLC (The Real Estate CPA). Through the knowledge gain by working with real estate investors, Brandon invests in multi-family properties personally and through his capital group, Naked Capital.

Brandon is a Certified Public Accountant and national speaker. Brandon holds degrees in both Accounting and Finance from East Carolina University.

Annie Dickerson has invested in multifamily real estate since 2008. Her current portfolio spans multiple markets around the country and includes both active and passive investments. Annie is a co-founder and managing partner of Goodegg Investments and focuses on strategic brand initiatives and investor education. Annie is co-creator of the online courses Passive Real Estate Investor Academy and Real Estate Accelerator, author of hundreds of blog posts and videos on real estate investing, co-host of the Investing For Good podcast, and co-author of the book Investing For Good: The Surprising Strategy For Building Wealth While Also Making An Impact. Annie graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and has worked in education and design over the past decade. She lives in Oakland, California, with her husband and two young boys.

John Rubino has extensive knowledge & experience in real estate investment, lending, development, construction, consulting, marketing and sales.

He currently serves as COO, Founder/Partner at JID Investments LLC and Senior Account Executive & Business Development Director at Centerview Title Group responsible for the execution of project management, strategic investment, marketing/advertisement, business development and borrower financing on over thirty real estate projects.

He managed a 21 property Real Estate Investment portfolio with total value of $21M with over $15.9M in actual and projected revenue and collaborated with over 130 real estate investors providing a targeted return on investment between 15-20%+ annualized.

He’s a passionate and accomplished United States Naval Officer & Naval Aviator with 20 years of honorable active duty service. He thrives on building relationships, solving problems, coordinating/collaborating with borrowers and real estate professionals & improving processes.

Ted Lanzaro is a highly recognized and respected Certified Public Accountant, real estate investor and real estate broker. He is the founder of Lanzaro CPA, LLC located in Cheshire, Connecticut, a boutique CPA firm specializing in accounting and taxation for the real estate industry. Ted is the author of "The Tax Smart Landlord" - a book of 39 tax strategies for real estate investors that will save them thousands of dollars a year on their taxes.

Jason is an active Real Estate Syndicator and Real Estate Investor. Jason founded Yarusi Holdings, a multifamily investment firm with over 800 units under management, in 2016. The firm repositions properties through operational efficiencies, moderate to extensive renovations and complete rebranding.

Jason also Hosts The Multifamily Foundation a podcast that provides actionable content and tools to build and strengthen your business. Covering all things multifamily from finding deals, to raising money, to asset management. Jason has started and exited multiple business in the past 15 years and his family construction business has a niche industry position in raising and moving structures. The company has elevated over 2,000 homes in the last 7 years alone.

Gary has always been a self-starter, taking on entrepreneurial endeavors and succeeding in his efforts. At the end of 2016, he sold arc, an after-school program, leadership development and outdoor education company he founded in 2001, which served over 9,000 students daily throughout Southern California. He is a founding board member of the non-profit CORE Educational Service, has been a member of Vistage since 2013 and is an alumnus of the Leadership Southern California program.

As a successful real estate investor in over 1700 units, Gary Lipsky helps friends invest in C-Class Value-Add Multifamily opportunities. Gary typically finds deals in Phoenix and Tucson. He runs several meetups and is a regular on real estate podcasts and at conferences. You can count on Gary for integrity, strong operations and excellent communication, which have been keys to everything in which he’s been apart of.

Mike’s early real estate experience comes from the family construction business where he worked his way through college and was able to gain the skills necessary to manage all aspects of construction and project management. After college, Mike entered the corporate world and has had a successful 20+ year career in Medical Sales with the last 15 years spent in the Medical Device Industry. This unique combination of skill sets served him well as he built a personal real estate portfolio of over $6M across multiple asset classes while working full time. He enjoys educating people on real estate investment and has been featured on multiple podcasts and speaks at local REI meetups. Mike currently lives in Springfield, MO with his wife Aline and their two children. He enjoys spending time with family, hunting, fishing and snow skiing. Mike has a heart for mission work and believes that “We are blessed to be a blessing to others”. He lives this out through serving others locally, nationally and internationally.
