Brad is joined by James for a jam-packed episode.
They start off with a recap of the volleyball playoffs. In Class 4A, Ripley fought off a tough Tishomingo County team (1:47), while New Albany swept Senatobia in another 4A match (4:17). The quarterfinals are up next on Thursday (5:19). Also, four area players were named Miss Volleyball earlier this week (7:36).
On the football front, some big news: Oxford and Lafayette will no longer face each other, in any sport, following the end of the 2025-26 school year, and the Bruce-Calhoun City rivalry is also dead (8:24). On the field, North Pontotoc earned a huge region win last week against New Albany (13:00), while Biggersville served notice that it's back for form with a dominant victory against Baldwyn (14:24).
Week 7 features several critical region games, including North Pontotoc at Corinth (16:21), Choctaw County at Aberdeen (17:25) and Southaven at Tupelo (18:31).
