Scripture declares, “Those who are in the flesh cannot please God” (Romans 8:8). In Revelation 21, the holy city, New Jerusalem, is completely clear and transparent. Scripture describes it as pure gold, like clear glass (v.18), shining with a light like a jasper stone, clear as crystal (v.11), and even its street is pure gold, like transparent glass (v.21). But what about your heart?

When Aaron’s sons, Nadab and Abihu, offered profane fire before the Lord in Leviticus 10, God judged them instantly.
