Prepare for Landing

...this is your captain speaking. Fasten your seatbelts, we're beginning our initial descent.

I'm your host and captain, Siarra Turner. A traveller, storyteller, and coach.

Prepare for Landing takes listeners on a unique flight into the transformative nature of travel. In a new era where we have been forced to redefine travel, this podcast explores the bustling sounds of Cape Town, South Africa while also marveling the beautiful architecture in Russia. We dive into the culture beyond the perfect Instagram shot and seek to answer how we can travel both intentionally and ethically, even in the midst of a global pandemic.

Every episode, I feature a fellow traveller sharing their personal story on how they fell in love with travel. But I don't stop there… After a brief layover, each traveller returns for another episode where they read a narrative describing the moment travel changed their life.

I hope you enjoy their stories. I hope something in their journey inspires you to start your own. And I hope you too get to discover if you were prepared to land, not in a different city, but as a different person.
