- Are You Prepared for Persecution?Jesus never promised us this life would be easy. As a matter of fact, He warned His disciples several times that they would all have to suffer for His sake. Just like every other promise of God, this promise trickles down to us as well. However, many do a good job of leaving this part out and as a result, many are caught off guard and it causes them to stumble or even fall away from the faith. But, it's best not to avoid the subject for the sake of folks' comfort but to address it so that we can be prepared for it when persecution rears its ugly head in our lives. But, why is it that we must suffer in the first place? How can we prepare for it? Are you prepared to suffer for the sake of Christ?23 min

About Preparing For Eternity, Today
From the publisher's feed
Jesus didn't leave His church without power. He didn't leave us here to coward down in the face of adversity. He didn't tell us to conform to the world and to become friends with it. However, that's…
exactly what's happening today--especially in America. Many churches have become identical with the world, looking to please men rather than God. Salvation is a free gift, yet God requires us to live holy in response to His grace. It's time to get serious in preparing ourselves & others to meet our Creator. Hosted by Miranda L. Turner, PFET is down-to-earth and focuses on scriptural encouragement.
