Has been a Homestead since 1887 and has been kept in a natural state as much as possible. Pat Carson is a direct descendant of the original homestead. We are very passionate to keeping a small foot print on this earth. We have a herd of wild horse that have been kept in as much of a wild state as possible. We use horse training methods from Ireland, we are very much opposed to breaking horses, and we use the voice instead of a whip. Because of this our horse have lots of spirit. We have very modest down to earth cooking, lots of homegrown vegetables that we grow in our five acre garden and eat lots of wild game. Our goal is to have as many as ten families live and work together on the ranch and live very sustainably.
