Having grown up during the cold war and his mother being a hillbilly, Sam has always been a survivalist and a pioneer in sprit since he can first remember.

Sam is a 10 year Army "special opn's" vet, have lived and traveled in about 30 countries, and have had to actually put my survival skills to use in real world situations too many times.

He returned from a three year assignment in Burma and Thailand (combating trafficking and promoting democracy) in 2006 with his wife and daughter and was looking forward to settling down to an easy . . . uneventful life . . . so much for dreams. Now he just looking for a place where he can just keep his family fed and safe during these uncertain times.
