There are a lot of Smart Phone Apps out there that are extremely useful as well as a lot of other gear that is extremely useful and life-saving in a Grid Up Situation so don't ignore them.  They could save your life.  But, what do these gadgets rob from us.  Will we still be able to do all the things they provide for us if the grid goes down?  The best gadgets we can obtain are the ones our ancestor's used long before the invention of any of these.

And then, I want to talk about an app I found this week simply called "Prepper" This app solves an issue I have always had and it is printable. The best of both worlds for me

This week has been interesting with the threats against the U.S. by North Korea the talking point of the week.  It makes one think...What threats are out there, waiting in the wings to strike at any moment. DJ Cooper is a post-apocalyptic author and a fan of fiction in our prepping worlds.  Let's talk about the threats we face and some fiction that correlates and how we can use this to help us prepare. The threats of nuclear usage have gained in numbers, so a quick rundown of a few things to remember might be a good place to start the conversation.

In particular, Illness and virus that may be going around.  Colds, Flu, and other such. Do we take vitamins and supplements daily or do we partake of the fruit of the vine in season?

Which should we be taking?

And then, the weather. 

Several events happened this week and many people were negatively affected and even a great loss of life.

How will we know when there isn't technology to warn us.  Let's talk about the old ways and old tools used.

I sure do not have the answers and am not as prepared here as I need to be.
