Has anyone seen the Comedy movie “Overboard” with Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell? Well, quick…go watch it before the show this week because there will be a test. Actually no there will be no test but this movie is an excellent example of just what I mean by Dystopia. I want to talk about this movie and use it as an example this week, because it seems that so much of what is discussed when talking about preparedness and survival is so serious. I just want to show how it doesn’t need to be scary!

Like many people these days my life is an oxymoron, while I strive for a self sufficient and organic lifestyle my job is just the opposite of this. I get to see the epitome of both sides of a coin… while by day I schedule and even drive Limousines. Ahh yes, lifestyles of the rich and famous it often appears, but by night I listen to the coyotes howling behind the house as I live quite a ways into the country. I have to make a living which keeps me in the city by day and sometimes night but I want to make a self sufficient home so I can spend less time in the city. Is anyone else on this crazy merry go round?

Just thinking about our world over the past year. We’ve had Ebola, crisis with economy, foreign issues and rioting in places.

It is amazing how quickly things spiral out of control.. this world and societies in general always seem to teeter on the next big event.

I think this week is more of an introduction than on any specific topic.

In the weeks ahead I hope to bring you guests on various topics and knowledge from the prepping world.

The ultimate answer for sustainable raised bed gardening, the keyhole garden. I am making my own this year but out of some other than stone. I think this will interest you. If you arent familiar with the key hole garden we will touch on the basics of that as well.

Life is hard. A fact that we have to learn to wrap our minds around. I am reading a great new book I think my listeners would really enjoy. The info inside is very pertinent to what it is we do and what we prepare for. Hard times. No matter what we believe those hard times will be. It is important we embrace life's problems as an opportunity to grow.

CDI.coop, The cooperative development institute is an incredible resource for learning about cooperative business opportunities and developing your local economy. This site has great free classes and tons of info on the different types of coops and how to start and operate them. We are going to go over some of the sites high points

Finally we are going to go in depth on Timebanking and I will give you guys an update on the timebank I am bringing to light in my area. Timebanks.org, we will also go over this great site and its software for starting your own timebank.

Tim has been involved with various federal, state and local agencies. Tim has also been involved with disasters around the world to include 911, hurricanes Rita, Katrina and Hugo, Haiti earthquake, Wallow wildfires and the 2004 Indonesia tsunami.

In today’s show, Susanne Posel welcomes the ever amazing Max Igan to his first appearance on our show. Max Igan is a well-travelled and world famous social icon for truth, spirituality, and modern logic.

Susanne Posel and Max Igan hold a very natural conversation that covers a wide range of topics beginning with looking up to yourself and becoming leaders rather than followers. The term ‘Sheeple’ is widely used in the alternative media, yet serves to push down people’s true nature and programming them at a subtle level to be subservient and closed minded.

Max points out that the real focus of his work, and what others should understand is that is less about your face or your name and more about the message and waking up to the reality that is all around us. He continues on the subject and points out that if you’re concerned about who he is, then you are not listening to the message. “If we actually knew who we were and what our relationship to what reality actually is, we could change the world in three seconds.”

Later in the show, Max Igan puts forward some great words relating to the widespread control system that is set up with social classism, marketing and the financial distraction that is pumped into the mainstream and alternative media all over the world. Max Igan explains how money separates us from reality, and separates us from our birthright, which is to live here in a state of abundance, that it puts a barrier between us and that which exists naturally.

Toward the end of the show, Susanne Posel gets into the nature of reality; energy, vibration and consciousness. Max Igan covers a very detailed explanation of the nature of reality as he sees it, what role things such as consciousness, energy, focus and perception play in what types of reality we each experience on a personal level.
