  • Episode 18.0: It's Always Truth In The Jokes
Let’s take a moment to separate the real from the fake..
How many friends can you call when you’re stuck on the side of the road or going through a bad break up? If it took you more than a minute to think of a couple people, guess what? They are NOT your real friends.
On this episode, Dewey kicks it with Taneisha and Tarik, two people who aren’t new but very true to the camera and the mic. Taneisha is a news broadcaster and Tarik is an aspiring actor who also has his own podcast! The topic at hand is friends and let’s just say, the tea is hot! Taneisha shares her experiences with opening up too soon while Tarik explains why it’s important to know the difference between a “friend” and an “associate.” Of course Dewey has a lot to say because when it comes to some of his friends, they never seem to hold it down. They also go down a list of some of the wildest things they’ve experienced with a friend so if you have ever had a problem with a friend or associate, this is the episode for you!

  • Episode 17.0: If Not Me, Then Who?
Yo, the weather is finally talking nice and the streets are open. As the spring season breaks, we are predicting that there will be a ton of break-ups, as well as “We need to talk” conversations.
On this episode, Dewey brings on Channing, one of his best-friends from college, to talk about the “glo” after a break-up and the rules to “spinning the block.” Channing believes that because of who she is and what she brings to the table, her exes will always spin her block, while Dewey believes that “wishing your ex the best” is phrase we should throw away because most times we don’t mean it. The two also discuss comfortability in relationships and letting yourself go.
If you are in a relationship/situationship, make sure you have a balance when it comes to investing in yourself and in your relationship. Furthermore, if you miss your old boo and want to spin the block just one last time, do what needs to be done, and make it happen!

  • Episode 16.0: My Tinderoni
    NEW YEAR, NEW EPISODE!

Are you in search of companionship? Are you tired of being alone? Looking for a special person to spend time with? Well, PWTR has the prescription and it’s just what the doctor ordered. Since Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, we thought it would be fun to talk about online dating since we stay sliding in people’s DMs, one way or another.

Dewey brought on two frequent online dating users, Lee and Myke, to share their many experiences when it comes to finding a potential mate online. There are many challenges to dating and finding love but attempting to do so during a pandemic makes it even more complicated. Lee feels the best way to grasp her attention is by having a complete and detailed bio. While Myke wants women to avoid taking pictures of themselves in the bed, cuddling with their dogs. This insightful conversation elaborated on the following: who deserves to be swiped left or right on, why ghosting hurts and the differences between online dating vs. meeting in-person.

To ensure you’re not alone on Valentine’s Day or beyond...

  • Episode 12.0: Stick To The Clit Please
On this week’s episode, Dewey sits with Dr. Ashley Townes as they discuss all things SEX! When a conversation about intimacy or sex arises, some may feel uncomfortable or hesitant to join. However, after listening to this episode, those days will soon be over! We discuss the importance of communication when it comes to intimacy and why it’s so hard for us as individuals to be open and transparent about our wants, needs and desires. Our listeners even submitted questions pertaining to sex, mental health, and the most pleasurable spots on the body so listen closely as you may be shocked to hear the answers. While Dr. Townes shared her personal experience with soul-ties, Dewey shared his journey to finding the clitoris. All in all, we have concluded that sex should be a pleasurable experience for all parties involved. And if it is not, there is nothing wrong with having that conversation with your partner!

  • Episode 11.0: P*ssy Can't Be Your Only Hustle
Yo, class is in session so grab ya pen and ya paper and take a seat!
On this week’s episode, Dewey sits with the fellas, Rybo and Darius, as they kick back and give free game to all the ladies! This episode brought a different type of vibe because the women controlled the narrative as they sent in all the unanswered questions they could think of when it comes to men. The fellas took turns answering the questions while sharing their experiences and perspectives on relationships, sex, and even men and their mental health. Darius feels like p*ssy can’t be a woman’s only hustle, while Rybo wants them to put the chicken alfredo recipe to rest! They also discussed the upcoming VERSUS battle and who they have their money on when it comes to “The Boy Is Mine” duo, Monica and Brandy. Lastly, they discussed the classic film, The Brothers, and shared which character they relate to most!
This conversation was hilarious but fruitful at the same time. We appreciate everyone who took the time to submit their questions…thank y’all!

  • Episode 10.0: If You Can, I Can Too
Word on the street is double standards still exist and folks are fed up! The ladies from Transparency: The Podcast came on to sit with Dewey and talk all things double standards. Both Nnekia and Savannah feel that women are counted out first when it comes to conforming to societal norms, while Dewey believes that some double standards should still be relevant. They also touched on the infamous song, “WAP” and why it has created so much buzz, why it’s so hard for men to be vulnerable, and the lack of accountability in women. This conversation was a true BATTLE OF THE SEXES and the ladies came ready to sit Dewey and all the men out there down! But the real question is, “Did they succeed?”

  • Episode 9.0: Level Up Or Shut Up
On today’s episode, Dewey sits with two bosses, who don’t play about their bag. Jada, who is an innovator and the creator of INDI Media and Kennesha, who is a fashion designer and owns Kennesha Nycole. The question of the hour is “Are you really on my level?” and this is a question that we should be asking ourselves more often when it comes to dating, platonic relationships, and even our families. B. Simone said she can’t be with a person who works a 9 to 5, so what better way to discuss “leveling up” than with two entrepreneurs, who have to take care of business, while running a business. They also discuss the struggles of entrepreneurship, supporting black businesses, and weeding out the real, from the fake.
In conclusion, boss up or beat it!
