Hey! Yeah, you! This is the episode where we talk all about the Final Fantasy 7 Remake and spoil the heck out of everything. You've been warned. Also, we wanna know: what'd you think of the game? Who's the hottest character? We've gotta know. Email us your answers at [email protected].

We get hairy this week with Carlos' epic mop and Don Corneo's doormat-like chest, while talking FF7 Remake, Half Life Alyx, Animal Crossing, and Christian Yelich. Welcome to the Capcom Carlos Cinematic Universe, friends.

Zero cases of the roro for this crew, who've been furiously playing DOOM Eternal, Animal Crossing, and Persona 5 Royal. Meanwhile, we envision an Olympics upgrade and talk about the Coronasutra. 3 men enter, and, well, 3 also leave.

We can't talk about some things, but Nioh 2, One Punch Man, and FF7 Remake are fair game. Meanwhile, Rhett discovers White Claw is a lie, Fallout 77 sounds promising, and we learn to embrace that Big James Energy.

Ori & The Will of the Wisps is gonna be awesome. We know because James played it. Meanwhile, Rhett doesn't sound like garbage this week, James has spicy bar stories, and Paul makes a PS5 reveal prediction.

It's the deadest Q1 in years, but Kentucky Route Zero is an absolute homerun. Meanwhile, Animal Crossing characters can now take it off and Cloud is gorgeous. Also covered: trolling in max raids, pre-writing MGS6, and crazy expensive pretend goods.

We talk about Animal Crossing's seedy underbelly while all the games get delayed. Also covered: Seaman, Mario's V-Card, and bed surfaces. Oh, and Rhett played a really bad game.

2020 kicks off with a bang as James, Paul, and Rhett unleash the hottest takes around on the year's biggest releases. Meanwhile, Pokemon fever continues to grip the boys and The Witcher 3 is looking mighty handsome. Also covered: Don Corneo's chest hair.

COGconnected - your source for all kinds of gaming news, reviews, features, and general nerdy stuff.

Every year, COGconnected editors gather in the Press X To Podcast battlebridge to suss out the ten best games of the year. Or maybe it’s better to say our best games of the year. There’s invariably a passion project or two that make the list out of the blue, and we think that’s a-ok. The catch? We have to agree on the list. COG’s category based awards are decided strictly by votes from the team, but the ten best games of 2019 is more… personal.
