The British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer is facing mounting pressure following the sacking of the UK's ambassador to the United States, Peter Mandelson.

Emails reported by Bloomberg showed Lord Mandelson sent supportive messages to convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, after the disgraced financier's conviction for sex offences.

Meanwhile, government backbencher Richard Burgon has told the BBC that Sir Keir will be "gone" by May if elections in Scotland, Wales, and parts of England go badly for the Labour Party.
