We are in the deep heat of the summer and it's a perfect time for a coming of age tale set against the backdrop of a high school summer in Ohio. The writing, the acting, and the characters of this film will captivate you and with it's R rating, language wasn't toned down to make it hit that PG-13 summer market. Even as a R, it's not a boner comedy about sex and boobies but just a really fun film. Give it a shot and listen along to how Brett and Pat enjoyed it as well.

Blood, check. Gore, check. Bad practical effects, check. Even worse CGI, check. Nonsensical plot? You betcha! I don't think you really need to know that much more about Machine Girl. Have you ever wondered what would happen if an unknown punk band dead-set on keeping it real witnesses a horrible crime only to find out the true nightmare begins when they encounter a Patrick Stewart, with an opposing belief system than Jean-Luc Picard but with all the cunning, deciding their fate? Well then, it sounds like Green Room is a much watch. Pat and Brett discuss the best film we've watched so far this year and why, in the end, past it's visceral production it should be a goto for any fan of the thriller genre.
