During her undergraduate education Dawn worked within hospice care and with a dropout prevention program. After obtaining her graduate degree she worked at a community health center with families involved in the foster care, adoption, and juvenile justice systems. In 2005 she opened her private practice where she now sees a variety of clients including mental health professionals, first responders, and military personnel. Throughout her career she has specialized in the treatment of trauma and continues to do so in her current practice.
