Not even Jeremy Irons can save this catastrophe.

It's hard to believe it, but the Dungeons and Dragons movie came out in the year 2000. It looks and feels much older than that, hearkening back to a shoddier time in filmmaking. Not even the fully-committed hammery of Jeremy Irons can save this misguided and ramshackle disaster.
