Morbid: The Seven Acolytes is a top-down 2D soulslike with a really great art style, great looking bosses, and level design that's unfortunately lacking. We were really hopeful that we'd found a hidden gem, but instead we got a valuable lesson, through contrast, in what's necessary for a soulslike game to really sing.
