On this episode of Previously Learnt, we were joined by the incredibly switched on founder of tech company Zero Gravity, Joe Seddon BEM. Zero Gravity (www.zerogravity.co.uk) is a tech company which makes opportunity match talent, 'connecting untapped talent in low opportunity areas to a world of possibilities'. Joe himself, came from a low income background and defied the odds to attend Oxford University. Seeing the challenges of that journey first hand, Joe's aim was to start a company that could level the playing field, using the power of technology.
This was an incredibly insightful chat, and certainly shows that opportunities can and do exist. We spoke of putting yourself in uncomfortable situations in order to grow, the importance of a network, improving by one per cent every week, not following the crowd and having resilience and grit.
As always, we hope you enjoy...please remember to like, follow, provide feedback - it certainly does help us to improve
