Today I’m going to talk to you about our energy centres, how we tap into them and how we can help our children link their energy and emotions with their physical body.

There are many different interpretations of energy centres from many different cultures. The most well known are the 7 chakras from the hindu tradition, but there are way more than just 7, remember we are energetic spiritual beings residing within this physical body after all.

Emotions that have been stored, pushed down, repressed or hidden act as trapped energy and by recognising it, embracing it, loving it with acceptance we allow it to shift closer to the surface to be released.

If we can do this with our kids, we can be aware of their energetic imbalances and guide them to ground and connect so they feel more in flow and in tune with their bodies, ultimately accepting their big emotions as helpful tools for lifetime skills!

We all have intuition, it’s not some special thing that only a few are born with…

It’s like a muscle, the more you work it the stronger it gets.

Some people completely ignore their intuition and gradually it fades away… but it will come back if you start showing it some love again!

Sometimes it’s hard to decipher an intuitive hit from an overwhelming urge to do something a certain way…

We have gut feelings, and we also have gut reactions… so so similar but completely different levels.

Today I will be introducing myself sharing a bit of my story of how I got here and what this podcast, Magical Mothering is all about... 

To me Magical Mothering is intuitive parenting when raising our innately intuitive, sensitive kids. In order to trust our children to grow with courageous self worth and inner connection to their gifts we must first reconnect with our own inner magic that we may have lost touch with throughout our lifes journey. In shedding the conditioning that we grow accustomed to and unleashing our deepest essence we can raise our children without passing on the stories of not enoughness...
