Antonio Mazzola and Justin Schaffer discussed upcoming changes for Primal Polar Bear Adventures, including three men's retreats and new digital workbooks, as Justin Schaffer announced the launch of their emotional freedom website and coaching practice aimed at helping people with depression and anxiety. Justin Schaffer described their personal experience of feeling "broken" due to a traumatic brain injury and childhood emotional neglect, which was compounded by a struggle to find effective help through traditional therapy, noting that finding professionals specializing in trauma and who act as coaches was crucial. The conversation centered on Justin Schaffer's use of medication to create "space" for internal work, the realization that suicidal ideation stemmed from a need for "relief," and their 12-week program, which uses Internal Family Systems principles and "loving assertiveness" to help clients build a better relationship with their emotions and focus on inherent worthiness.
