William Lee Golden is a legendary figure in American music. Since joining the Oak Ridge Boys in the 1960s, he has become a member of the Grand Ole Opry, inducted into both the Country and Gospel Music Halls of Fame, won 5 Grammy Awards (+ 23 nominations), 1 American Music Award, 4 Country Music Association (CMA) Awards, 4 Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards, the 2008 ACM Pioneer Award, 10 Dove Awards, and the 2010 President’s Honor.
The Goldens all-star band includes William Lee’s sons Rusty, Chris, Craig, his grandchildren Elizabeth, Rebekah, and Elijah along with some of Nashville’s premier musicians.
Rusty recorded his first #1 hit at just 19 with Larry Gatlin, has earned a RIAA Gold record as a songwriter, and received two Grammy nominations.Chris Golden, celebrated for his 17-year stint with The Oak Ridge Boys as well as his time with Alabama and Restless Heart, has claimed seven No. 1 Gospel singles and was named the 2019 Entertainer of the Year at the Inspirational Country Music Awards.
Their latest project ‘Golden Classics’ is a three-album collection featuring Country Roads: Vintage Country Classics, Old Country Church Gospel, and Southern Accents: Pop & Country Rock.
