After that, he previews UMaine’s basketball game against Central Connecticut State and recaps how BC basketball performed in the Paradise Jam tournament in the Virgin Islands. Following that, he touches on BC football’s abysmal 44-0 loss to Notre Dame and previews their matchup against Syracuse on Saturday which is the last game of the season. As always, he provides live updates of mid-week MACtion football.
Halfway through (35:38), he is joined by Northeastern hockey superfan Peter Amara to talk all-things sports, from NU hockey to Jimmy Garoppolo and the 49ers. They break down how Northeastern’s season has gone so far and give their outlook for the rest of the year. They each give their top five favorite players to ever suit up in the black and red with a few honorable mentions. After that, they recap what has happened in the first few days of the World Cup and what happened in the US-Wales game. During that segment, they preview Friday’s US-England showdown.
In addition to the topics above, they cover how the Bruins season has gone thus far and praise coach Jim Montgomery for how well he has managed the team. Lastly, they break down how Jimmy Garoppolo and the 49ers have performed this season and agree on why San Francisco is the team to watch out for in the NFC.
