Remember, the media is to be used to "teach all nations;" it should reflect and magnify the Messiah – not man! Specific examples are given in this teaching to help you get started. Let them explode IDEAS for you to use! Then get ready to SEE multitudes in Heaven you have reached when you arrive home!

HOW TO USE THE MEDIA TO PROCLAIM THE GOOD NEWS

CREATIVITY IN ADVERTISING

SCRIPTURAL BACKGROUND:

DEFINITION OF MEDIA:

"A channel of communication; sometimes advertising."

DEFINITION OF ADVERTISING:

"To warn; to call attention to; to tell people about; or praise."

SOME EXAMPLES OF MEDIA:

* Social Networking & Media* Newspaper & Magazine Ads* Transit Ads* Radio & TV Spots (Ads) & Internet Advertising* Street Drama* Posters, Signs, & Stickers * Holography* Billboards* Robotry* DVD's, WebCams, & VideoCasts* Podcasts * Airplanes & Blimps* PowerPoint or Multi-Screen Projections * Clothing* Arts, Crafts, & Theatre* Internet / Websites* CD-ROM’s & DVD's* Comic Books* Flash Movies

INTRODUCTION: Let God multiply His work through you through the use of literature; social media like YouTube, Wikipedia, FaceBook; CD's; DVD's; webcams, videocasts, podcasts, websites; comics; games; drama; iPods; iPhones; mp3 devices; and any other form of media that can be used by the Holy Spirit. Remember, the media is to be used to "teach all nations;" it should reflect and magnify Christ – not man! Study the examples below.

SOCIAL NETWORKING AND MEDIA

Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, YouTube, Linkedin and others are all excellent ways to spread the Good News of Messiah Yeshua. There are basically six (6) types of Social Media: Social Networks (Facebook and Linkedin) Social News (Digg and Reddit) Blogs, Blog Comments & Forums (many types) Microblogging (Twitter) Media Sharing (YouTube and Flickr) Bookmarking Sites (Delicious and StumbleUpon)You can reach not only friends you know, or have known years ago, but people you interact with from nations and cultures around the world. You can even use language translators like IM Translator, Smartlink and others to communicate with people of other languages. Twitter is especially efficient in that you are limited to 140 characters and you can pack a lot if you link to a website in your message. You can link to sites you find helpful like UofE.org, PrinceHandley.com, The Healing Podcast or to specific pages on the sites: like Israel and the Middle East, healing, deliverance, etc. Prince Handley also uses Twitter for 24/7 continuous release of selected teachings and podcasts. NEWSPAPER & MAGAZINE ADS

DISPLAY ADS Larger ads (like store ads); may or may not use photos or illustrations. Get the attention of the reader. If you use artwork (photo or illustration), then make your picture fit your wording (copy). If you need help, the newspaper or magazine advertising department has people who will help you at no cost; or, pray and ask God to lead you to a Christian who is good in graphics or advertising. Use lots of white space in your ad; don’t crowd it. Make it easy to read. See example of "display ad below: (Copy) WIN A TRIP FOR THE FAMILY! (Photo) A family on the rail of a steamship, or boarding an airplane. (Text) "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved, and your house." [Note: The scripture text is placed somewhere in the ad with the copy and the photo or artwork, but don’t "crowd" the ad.] CLASSIFIED ADS Small, inexpensive ads (no photos) used to advertise pets, employment, notices, houses for rent. The "Announcement" section is very good to use since it usually comes first. Example of classified ad below: (Copy) HERE’S YOUR CHANCE FOR A NEW START! The greatest Jew alive will be in [your city name] this week. You may call him ahead of time - He said to tell you, "Turn from your sins and ask me into your life. My name is Jesus Christ." NOTE: Use your imagination. If you have never been good in art, or if you have never been creative, do not let that stop you! Isaiah 42:8-9 and Isaiah 43:18-19 tell us that God can do a NEW work. Ask God for an anointing of creativity. Then ... START. Ask God for wisdom. [James 1:5]

RADIO & TV SPOTS (ADS) & INTERNET ADVERTISING

RADIO 60 second spots (1 minute). Run on non-Christian stations. Run at different times in the day to reach different audiences. For example: Early morning - people going to work Mid-Morning - people at home Noon-time - mixed audience Afternoon - school students Late afternoon - people going home from work in car or bus Evening - mixed audience SUGGESTIONS: Run a "cluster" of three spots in one 5 or 10 minute period. You can use a conversation between two people (but no more than two). You might want to use background music or sounds. TV Use 30 second spots. You don’t need as much time as you have the advantage of being able to SEE with SOUND. It is good to use people from different races and ethnic groups to show an example of Christ’s love and power! For example, a black person, a white person, a Jew, and an Arab. NOTE: Always use the CONTENT of the Word of God in every ad you make. Isaiah 55:11 tells us that God's Word will never return void ... it will prosper, and accomplish the purpose for which God sends it! INTERNET You can run ads on Google, Yahoo, and Email facilitators. Email them for specific rates and instructions. There are lots of good "How To Do It" books on the market covering with practical information (such as the "Idiot Guides," etc.).

POSTERS, SIGNS, & STICKERS

Can be many different sizes: 10 cm "mini-poster" to 1 meter "maxi-poster". Can be "peel-off" self-adhesive. Can be made in different languages. Can be "weather-proof"; use special weather-proof paper or coatings. (Can be used in rain, sun, or snow.) Can be used for indoor or outdoor. Can be large enough to be seen as people drive by. (Read Habakkuk 2:2) SUGGESTIONS: If used outdoor (one meter sign), make the name "JESUS" large enough to be seen 150 meters away, then the rest of the message smaller so it can be read when people are close. The same sign can be used for all the sizes; just enlarge or reduce the original.

BILLBOARDS

In some places, you can build your own billboards and put them up beside the road, highway, or freeway. In large cities, you may find large advertising companies who will give you free space for a period of time. The large size billboards which are rented usually are owned by advertising companies. SUGGESTION: Pray and ask God to lead you to someone who owns land by a roadside and who will let you put up a large sign free. You can reach thousands!

DVD's, WEBCAMS, AND VIDEO CASTS

It is easy ... and POWERFUL if done correctly ... to use social media like YouTube, Wikipedia, and FaceBook for video casts you produce. Go to these three media sources and view examples of what type of casts are being shown. Then, get your own ideas from the Holy Spirit. And ... don't forget to let people KNOW about your webcasts. Advertise! Promote! Get the word out! There are several inexpensive paperback books on the market to help you with this. Also, search online. You can make your own video presentations. WebCams are very inexpensive. Also, many of the newer laptop (notebook) computers have built in webcams. For creative content you will probably want to purchase a better unit, however. Go to different computer stores and ask them about the kind of equipment you will need. Many places will rent equipment. You might consider and pray about going to school (or taking an online computer course) in web production, cinematography, or other areas of video or webcam production. COUNT THE COST ... BELIEVE GOD’S PROMISES ... WORK FOR MESSIAH YESHUA (JESUS, THE ANOINTED ONE) Remember…God wants to reach people with His message more than you do! DVD and web cam recorders provide an excellent means of video presentation and most people have their own DVD players or SmartPhones; however at the present, in some areas of Third World countries, films are still the most easily seen by large crowds in the outdoors, and the least expensive. For work in larger third world cities, where the people have their own TV, DVD players, satellite receivers and computers (or can rent one), you may want to use DVD's, WebCams, or VodCasts (video casts) to evangelize or to teach.

PODCASTS

Podcasting is one of the most popular forms of media presentation with amazing growth and acceptance in countries all over the world. All you need is a computer and the know how. The know how can be learned from any of several books on the market. Do a search on the Internet, or at a library, for "podcasting." You can have a voice to the whole world for Christ. And ... if you are creative in the Spirit ... you will find an audience and friends in every corner of the globe! You need: 1. Content that is interesting; 2. Consistency in broadcasting (regular podcasts you produce); and 3. Uniqueness in presentation.

POWER POINT OR MULTI-SCREEN PROJECTIONS

You need the following equipment: WebCam ... or Video Camera … or Computer with software for presentations One DVD player, or computer, or High Definiton screen. (NOTE: If the viewing is to be outdoors, or for large audiences, then you will need advice on what type of screen to use. In some Third World areas, films or DVD's are still used more practically with electric generators.) By using three projectors you can show different pictures side-by-side, more action, and faster action. You can show someone finding Christ as their Savior, with a Scripture showing at the same time on the next screen, while a lot of color is "exploding" on the third screen: all of this while music is mixed with a recorded Gospel message.

TRANSIT ADS

Used on buses and taxis; and at airline terminals and subways. May be used inside or outside on buses. If used outside on buses, the ad is "eye-level" with the reader as the bus drives by them. The ad can be on the back, on the side, or on the front of the bus. If used inside the bus ("car-cards"), you can have "tear-off" mail cards attached so the reader can mail to you for literature. SUGGESTION: Transit ads can be directed to specific ethnic groups, by using proper pictures, artwork, or illustrations and the right messages, not only at airports, but on buses which travel to certain ethnic areas and cities.

DRAMA: OUTDOORS OR INDOORS

No expense involved. You don’t even need good clothes. Get a few people to paint their face, go to a busy place where there are lots of people, and put on your act… preach the Gospel with drama - outdoors or indoors - with voices (talking) or pantomime (silently, but with gestures). Great for marketplaces, malls, and wherever people gather.

HOLOGRAPHY

A new way to project a three-dimensional ("3D") image into a space without a screen. You may want to research this online or at a university library. SUGGESTION: It would be powerful to see an image of Elijah or an angel preaching to people!

ROBOTRY

Similar to holography only robots are used instead of projected images. In the last days, the Holy Bible tells us the anti-Christ (false-Messiah) and his false prophet will use an image [possibly a robot or holography]. Why shouldn't God's People, with the Spirit of God, use them to preach the Good News?

AIRPLANES & BLIMPS

Airplanes can pull a short Gospel message behind them. They can be rented. There are also planes which can cut out letters in smoke to make messages. Airplanes may be used to drop Gospel literature in certain areas. Blimps, airships, and dirigibles can also pull Gospel messages. And, lighted messages can be seen from computerized message centers placed underneath; in this way, long messages may be shown at night to millions in large cities.

INTERNET / WEBSITES

Using the Internet (by computer) you can reach people all over the world. You can reach kings, queens, national leaders, politicians, wealthy people, religious leaders, criminal and gang leaders … people from every religious, political, and social strata … in their own home! Ask God to lead you to someone who knows computers and can help you setup the site the way YOU want it. There are also several good text-editing programs on the market now which make it much easier to develop web-sites without a thorough knowledge of HTML or XML or RSS. Inquire at a computer software store, or search on-line. People can E-mail you instantly from all over the world asking for prayer, information, or counsel … or for contacts to other Christians. You can establish "links" on your site in cooperation with other Christian ministries so the person viewing your site can interact and contact another ministry directly from your site. WARNING: If you are going to have "links" on your site, make sure they are NOT to a person or ministry who would destroy the FAITH of the people to whom you are ministering. For example, if you’re teaching someone about the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, or about the Healing Power of Christ, you wouldn’t want them to link to someone who has lack of knowledge in the Word of God and would tell them a lie "that God doesn’t heal" … or that miracles don’t happen today! SUGGESTION: Take advantage of E-mail if you are using the Internet. Not only for instant communication, but also to evangelize and teach! You can get E-mail lists (just like phone lists) and broadcast the Gospel to people right INSIDE their own houses and businesses. Pray and believe God to give you a computer! Study and do diligent research so that you may be a good steward of what God has given you: your brain and time! Then let the Holy Ghost anoint you!!

CD-ROM’S & DVD'S

CD-ROM’s and DVD's are an excellent medium to teach and preach Christ: thru music, sound, and video. Be as creative as you want! Produce actual testimonies or reenactments of true-life situations where God has done miracles in people’s lives … produce Bible-stories. Let people see Jesus as a REAL man (God in human flesh) in real life situations. DVD's can be used on computers, players, the internet. Ask God to lead you … then study, read, and learn all you can! Do your part … and the Holy Spirit will do His!!!

COMIC BOOKS

This is perhaps the most unused and at the same time … the MOST POWERFUL … medium available. Young people and old people alike like comic books in every country of the world! If you live in a big city, go to the annual comic book convention; you’ll see what a BIG market it is. Also, you’ll see how many cultists and demonized people are using this medium. Christians have MISSED THE BOAT! You can even do comic books in "Wordless" form where people can SEE the message through the art with NO words. Apostle Handley has published wordless books for years for children [and adults] with NO ART at all … just using colors to explain sin, the blood of Christ, Heaven, Hell, God, and the Holy Spirit. How much more effective can you be WITH ART! Ask the Holy Spirit to lead you to someone who is gifted in art. Go to a printer and find out how to prepare the manuscripts for printing and binding. SUGGESTION: Make a COMIC BOOK with each of the following. How To Be WholeHow To Be HealedHow To Receive God's PowerHow To Prosper You could have ONE 28 or 32 page comic, with 7 or 8 pages covering each of the 4 booklets above. In other words, EACH of the four booklets above would be one section in the comic. There would be four sections inside the comic. Do them in English or whatever language you want at first with the artwork describing each of the phrases. You will have two (2) main printed areas on each artwork (caption) as follows: Section 1: How To Be Whole [8 pages / with 4 pictures on each page] Example: Title for the first picture - "God created the universe … because He had a plan." Dialogue for the first picture - "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." (Genesis 1:1) Suggestion: Decide what characters will be in the comic sections: God, man, Jesus, devil, etc. Then write out the dialogue and title for each picture (artwork) section. Finally, have someone DRAW the art to depict the title and dialogue (action). Note: You can show Jesus casting out demons, healing the sick in the section How To Be Healed. You can show people being baptized in the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues in the section How To Receive God’s Power. TESTIMONY: Twenty-two (22) people were baptized in the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues just from reading one of the printed copies of "How To Receive God’s Power" ... reading the SAME piece of paper!

SUGGESTION:

You might even be blessed to produce a "wordless" comic book that could be understood by people anywhere in the world. People could be saved, healed, filled with Spirit, and learn how to prosper! Think what effect that would have on world missions, raising up churches, and helping to usher in the return of Jesus Christ to the earth to set up His Kingdom! You will have MANY rewards! God will BLESS you abundantly!!!

HOW TO KNOW WHEN TO GIVE … AND NOT TO GIVETRUE SPIRITUALITY

INTRODUCTION

Recently I had just awakened from my night's sleep and the LORD instructed me to contact a friend of mine who is a world-class athlete, and a houshold name in the football (soccer) world, and tell him the contents of this podcast so that he would not have confusion in the future regarding “when to give and when not to give” and, also, to protect him in the future.

I have a ministry associate who has been my personal friend for over 30 years that was really being “ripped off” by people, even ministers, who claimed to be Christians. They were greatly taking advantage of him financially due to his kindness and Christian charity. I had counseled him different times concerning what basically is the content of this podcast and he finally “saw the light.”

It is my prayer that this podcast-teaching will not only help YOU but also protect YOU in the future. I believe I have covered all the groundwork situationally that you might experience with regards to meeting needs; and that with wisdom and the guidance of the Holy Spirit you may serve in optimum stewardship for the Kingdom of God … and for yourself.

True spirituality is "seeing a need and meeting it." Sometimes, you may not be able to physically meet the needs of other people. But, you can always take the people to God in prayer. Actually, that’s what ministry is: "serving people by taking them to God". Our beloved brother James said, "Suppose there are brothers or sisters who need clothes and don’t have enough to eat. What good is there in your saying to them, ‘God bless you! Keep warm and eat well!’ -- if you don’t give them the necessities of life? So it is with faith: if it is alone and has no actions with it, then it is dead." (James 2:15-17)

Prayer is an "action" that you can always take. It is not an excuse to keep from helping someone in a physical way. The most important thing you can always give a person is the Word of God. If you give money to a poor person, he will usually end up being poor again; however, if you give him the Gospel (all the Good News, not part of it), he will learn how to serve God and to tithe and offer to His Heavenly Father; then, God will take care of him and he will not starve in time of famine.

Read Psalm 33:18-19; Psalm 37:18-19; Job 5:19-27; Malachi 3:10-11.

Some Christians make the mistake of giving people money or physical help but without giving them the Good News of Christ. People need to know how to be saved and to walk in the prosperity and the health and the power of God. They need to know how to live a victorious life: how to have power over the world, the flesh, and the devil! Other Christians make the mistake of giving people the Word of God, but never helping them physically. What does the Word of God tell you to do?

Read James 2:15-17 again. It is talking about a Christian brother or sister who is in need of the "necessities of life": things needful to the body. Not someone who is making a living by taking advantage of you or the saints; it is talking about a brother or sister in the Lord: someone who belongs to Christ, who needs help and who comes to you for help. Study carefully Deuteronomy 15:7-11. God, through Moses, gave instruction to Jews about taking care of their Jewish brethren who were poor and needy.

Satan would like to steal all your money by condemning you with guilt for not feeding the world (a hunger situation caused by the devil, himself, when he tempted man to separate himself from God in the Garden of Eden). With all your money gone, you will then have nothing left with which to buy Bibles, or to help the saints in need, or to purchase media for the Gospel to be preached on TV or radio or in the newspapers. No money for Cd's or DVD's to get out the gospel. No money left to buy bicycles to travel to villages with the Gospel. No money left to evangelize the lost or to teach the saints. No money left for you to get together with your Christian brothers and sisters and worship your Father God!

So what do you do in a situation which involves another person’s need? Here’s your answer: If it is NOT a close Christian brother or sister as described in James 2:5-17, (God’s Word already tells you what to do in that case), then your first action should be to PRAY:

1. Pray, and take the person to God, asking God to give them a miracle and to meet their need. 2. Pray, and ask God to show you what you should do, if anything, to help the other person (or people). God’s answer to you will usually come in one of three ways, as outlined in A, B, or C below: A. "Do this..." (A certain specific action to take in order to help the other person in part or in full, either temporarily or permanently.) B. "Do whatever you feel you should; whatever is right according to the scriptures." (Read carefully Matthew 5:42 and Luke 6:30-36.) C. "Don’t do anything!" (God may tell you to do something later on.)

Jesus said, "Give to him who asks you, and do not turn from him who wants to borrow from you." (Matthew 5:42) He also told us, "Of him who takes away your goods, do not ask them back again ... but love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing back again; and your reward shall be great, and you shall be the children of the Highest; for He is kind to the unthankful and to the evil. Therefore, you be merciful, like your Father also is merciful." (Luke 6:30-36)

You may feel that there is a conflict between #B and #C under Item #2 above. Not so! The answer lies in priority and your responsibility under God. A person may come to you to borrow $50 (or 50 Francs or 50 Cedi or 50 Pesos or 50 Lira or 50 Rupees) and you may have it in your possession; however, your first priority may NOT be to loan either your friend or your enemy $50; it may be to take care of your responsibility, under God, to either your landlord or your family, whichever the case may be.

It is also possible that God may answer you with #A above and tell you to help a person, or to loan him $50, even though your family is hungry and you owe the landlord! This is one of the times it is very important to know the voice of God: to know how to be led by the Spirit of God! Time after time, God has asked me to give away all the money that I have had. However, on other occasions, God has told me, "Don’t do anything; this is a trick of the devil to steal your money!" … or ... "Don’t do anything; this is not a valid request!"

Another example of priority and your responsibility under God as regards helping those in need might be as follows: Let’s suppose someone comes to you and asks you for a certain amount of money; and let’s suppose, also, that for several months you have been saving money so that you can buy a particular piece of equipment that you need for God’s work: something that will help you reach more people for Christ. Or,

Perhaps, you have been saving money for a particular evangelistic project, possibly to reach several million people with the message of Christ. To whom is your priority in this case? The millions of people who are lost and on their way to Hell? Or, the one man who needs physical help?

Which is more important in regards to your responsibility to God: Obeying the Scriptural command of Jesus in Matthew 5:42, "Give to him who asks you, and do not turn away from him who wants to borrow from you,"; or obeying the Scriptural Command of Jesus in the Great Commission, "Go ... and teach (disciple) all nations." If God has been leading you to save money to reach people for Christ, would it not be unwise to then give it away? Rather, would it not be the devil wanting to take it away? This is why you must know how to be led by the Spirit of God!

Why are you in the ministry, or service, of God? First, you are to serve God; next, you are to serve mankind. "The Son of Man (Yeshua) came not to be served, but to serve others." You are to love God first; and then to love your neighbor as yourself. You can always PRAY for others and take them to God for a miracle. You can GIVE GOD’S WORD to others. Sometimes you can give PHYSICAL HELP to others.

The greatest work is to help people eternally; but it is also good if you can help them while they are here on earth. There are many ways to help a person here on earth, but the "highest way" is to help them to know God personally.

1. Then, they can PRAY for themselves and for others.

2. Then, they can GIVE GOD’S WORD to others.

3. Then, they can give PHYSICAL HELP to others.

They will have God to help them, to lead them, to keep them alive in famine, and to help them to help others. God will be their Father!

True spirituality is "seeing a need and meeting it!"

VISION, VALOR, AND VICTORY King Hezekiah was a man who did what was good, right, and truthful. Everything he was involved in was carried out with all his heart; and he prospered. "This Hezekiah did throughout all Judah, and he did what was good and right and true before the Lord his God. And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, in the law and in the commandment, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart. So he prospered." [2 Chronicles 31:20-21] All people should live a life that is right before God, but leaders especially have a greater responsibility to do so. With that responsibility comes an attendant blessing. When you are in the arena, you will be shot at. If you want to be used greatly by God, then make your mind up ahead of time that you are NOT going to quit, and you are NOT going to run away! If you quit, you can't win. But if you don't quit, you'll win! This doesn't mean that you will have the strength or wisdom in your self; but you are determined to stand in faith, believing and drawing upon the resources of God. The Assyrians were a cruel and treacherous military force. They resorted to terrible means of torture and were also a formidable foe. After Hezekiah's deeds of faithfulness, Sennacherib king of Assyria came and entered Judah. He encamped against the fortified cities, thinking to win them over to himself. When Hezekiah saw this, and realized that Sennacherib's purpose was to make war against Jerusalem, he gathered his leaders and commanders together and encouraged them. "Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid nor dismayed before the king of Assyria, nor before all the multitude that is before him: for there are more with us than with him. With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the Lord our God, to help us and to fight our battles." And the people were strengthened by the words of Hezekiah king of Judah. [2 Chronicles 32:7-8] Because of the impending danger, King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah prayed and cried out to heaven. Then the Lord sent an angel who cut down every mighty man of valor, every leader, and every captain in the army of Assyria. So the King of Assyria returned shamefaced to his own land, and was killed by his own family. "And it came to pass on a certain night that the angel of the Lord went out, and killed in the camp of the Assyrians 185,000 men; and when people arose early in the morning, there were the corpses - all dead." [2 Kings 19:35; 2 Chronicles 32:9-23] God still uses angels today. Psalm 34:7 tells us "The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them." Surely there are many times the angels deliver and protect us and we don't even know about it. But, in addition - like many of the promises of God - we need to KNOW God's Word so we can ACCESS God's resources. We need to appropriate them by faith. We need to BELIEVE and PRAY as Hezekiah did. Vision begins with a purpose ... and that purpose is to SEE the dream become a reality! There are five (5) basic steps in this process: 1. Dream; 2. Plan; 3. Preparation; 4. Logistics; and, 5. Action. In action - and sometimes in the first four steps above - we engage the adversary as Hezekiah did. We implement our plans and put in place those things and people we have prepared, and that the Lord has assigned to us. Then we utilize the resources within our command to take action. Gideon had some clay vessels and candles. Moses had a rod. What is it that God has placed in your hand? What are those things you will BELIEVE God to bring into your access? It is your duty to use your faith. Faith is your servant. Read Luke 17:5-10. Many times it is the thing that is in our hand or our heart that is our greatest resource. Are we turning the gifts of God away through unbelief? Are we afraid to leave our comfort zone? Use your faith - it is your DUTY to use it! I am reminded of a man and his wife who won $1,000,000 USD. When the authorized bearers of the prize tried to contact the couple, they were repeatedly turned away. The man and his wife would not answer their phone calls, or respond to their letters. They thought it was a joke. Finally, the man and his wife decided that they would at least see what the communication was about. The bearers of the prize were authorized one more time to attempt delivery to the man and his wife. They responded at the last minute. How many times do we NOT receive God's MIRACLES because of unbelief, or because of taking things for granted? We have the ability to DREAM and IMAGINE. We can establish a VISION and believe God for its fulfillment. When was the last time you dreamed for God? Imagine what your life and ministry would be like if the present hindrances were removed. One of the great promises in the Holy Bible is found in Jeremiah 33:3. "Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things which you do not know." In his book The Weight of Glory, C. S. Lewis said "Our Lord finds our desires not too strong, but too weak." What can you IMAGINE or THINK? For what can you ASK God? "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us." [Ephesians 3:20] Once your dream is starting to take form - that is, when it becomes a reality - your VALOR will be tested: by God ... and by the enemy of your soul: the devil. You will have to make up your mind ahead of time to be a champion, to be valiant. God is looking for champions like the people of faith who went before us, who "Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens." [Hebrews 11:34] As you move out with the VISION, know that God has designed your VICTORY, but you have to have VALOR and stand in faith, calling upon Him for strength, wisdom, and MIRACLES. One thing that will help you is when you realize that God will use your enemy to help promote you: just like He did Pharaoh. God hardened Pharaoh's heart so that the Lord would be SET APART in the eyes of the Egyptians. And so God will use the reality of your vision so that He might be set apart in the eyes of people in every nation, tribe, family, and language of the earth. [Exodus 9:13-16; Romans 9:17] Just as God used angelic ministry to help King Hezekiah and his people, so God will use the angels to help you, if you will PRAY and CRY OUT to Heaven like Hezekiah and Isaiah. The magicians could not stand before Moses [Exodus 9:11], and neither will the enemy's people stand before you. There will be a severance - a setting apart - for God's servants. There is a difference for those anointed for ministry: not "haphazard" ministry, but ministry anointed through prayer, fasting, listening, and obedience! The Lord makes a difference between His people and the people of the enemy. Read prayerfully the following verses; they are God's Word for you at this time: Exodus 8:23; Exodus 9:26; Exodus 11:7 The two most important things you can do to enlarge your VISION and engage the enemy with VALOR are: 1. Sit at the feet of Mashiach Jesus; and, 2. Live holy. Then your VICTORY will be assured!

TRANSHUMANISM AND THE ANOINTING: EMBRYO TO DESTINY

Dr. James Hughes is executive director of the Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technologies and teaches at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. He is the author of Citizen Cyborg: Why Democratic Societies Must Respond to the Redesigned Human of the Future, a humanist manifesto for transhumanist values. Dr. Hughes belongs to an emerging group of academics, sociologists and bio-ethicists who support:

Large-scale genetic and neurological engineering of ourselves…[a] new chapter in evolution [as] the result of accelerating developments in the fields of genomics, stem-cell research, genetic enhancement, germ-line engineering, neuro-pharmacology, artificial intelligence, robotics, pattern recognition technologies, and nanotechnology…at the intersection of science and religion [which has begun to question] what it means to be human.1

Many bio-tech experts predict human-enhancement may be initiated after 2012.2

In 2007 National Geographic magazine proferred a guess that within 10 years, the first "human non-humans" would be operative upon Planet Earth. Now retired SDSU (San Diego State University) professor and computer scientist Vernor Vinge gave his presentation, "The Coming Technological Singularity," at Vision-21 Symposium sponsored by NASA Lewis Research Center and the Ohio Aerospace Institute in 1993. He said recently that we are approaching the era when questions like "What is the meaning of life?" will be nothing more than an engineering question.

Nick Bostrom, Oxford philosophy professor and co-founder of the World Transhumanism Association, writes that posthumans will realize eternal youth and health, gain complete control over their minds and emotions, and "experience novel states of conscious-ness" that present human minds cannot imagine.3

Posthumans may even choose to discard their bodies in favor of life as "information patterns on vast super-fast computer networks."3

The USA government, via the National Institute of Health, recently granted Case Law School in Cleveland $773,000 (money appropriated from USA tax payers) to develop guidelines that will be used for establishing government policy with respect to the next phase of human evolution—"genetic enhancement."

NOTICE: The references / quotes above are from years ago upon first writing of this podcast teaching. How far do you think we have "traveled" since? For a more recent overview of Artificial Intelligence, See "Resources" below.

Also a key player in the arena is the area of Transgenics. Transgenics allow scientists to develop organisms that express a novel trait not normally found in the species (including humans); for example, a type of rice known as golden rice has elevated levels of vitamin A. Scientists have also developed sunflowers that are resistant to mildew and cotton that resists insect damage. Possible transgenic combinations can be broken down generally into three categories:

1) plant-animal-human combinations;

2) animal-animal combinations; and

3) animal-human combinations.4

And, toward the side of "normalcy"? (for medical reasons) we now have the "Three people – one baby" consultation, where two embryos are fertilised with sperm, creating an embryo from the intended parents and another embryo from the donor(s).5

Recently, while preparing a session on "Stem Cell Research" for the University of Excellence in the course module "New Ideas and Science," I was meditating on God's calling of the Prophet Jeremiah while he was in the womb of his mother.

"Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 'Before I formed you in the belly I knew you; and before you came forth out of the womb I sanctified you, and I ordained you a prophet unto the nations.'" (Jeremiah 1:4-5)

Notice four things that God said:

"I formed you in the belly."

"I knew you before I formed you in the belly."

"Before you came forth out of the womb, I sanctified you."

"Before you came forth out of the womb, I ordained you a prophet to the nations."

The Hebrew word used above for "formed" is the word "yatzar" and has the meaning "to mold into a form (as a potter); to fashion."

Psalm 139:16 tells us, "Your eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in Your book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them." I heard a medical doctor once say that "substance, yet being unperfect, with all my members being in continuance fashioned, when as yet there was none of them," was the best description he had ever heard on the formation of the life in the womb.

If you will check a concordance, you will find there are many references in the Holy Bible where God says "I formed" the life in the womb. In addition, the beautiful truth is that God knows the life in the womb intimately BEFORE He forms it. In Jeremiah 1:4, the Hebrew for "knew" is a primitive root "yada" and means "to be acquainted with (closely)," as a man knows his wife.

All lives are unique, but in the life of special servants of God there is a setting apart – a sanctification – for a particular destiny, such as in Jeremiah's life. It is the same with ALL who have experienced the New Birth through Mashiach Yeshua (Messiah Jesus).

There are NO unimportant people in God's Kingdom … and NO trivial jobs. Only super humans for super destinies … designed BY and anointed FOR a Creator from beyond TIME and SPACE.

If you have exercised your FREE WILL to repent of sin and receive Messiah Jesus as your LORD, the anointing of God will guide you at the coordinates of: x. your obedience; and, y. God's will for your life.

PROPHECY

Soon (some are already living now) … 144,000 Jewish prophets will arrive on the arena of Israel-centric international geopolitics. They have been called for such a time as this to guide the remnant of the House of Israel – believing Jews – to a knowledge of their Mashiach. They will dominate the media and cyber space … both legally and illegally: in the public marketplace, in governmental and business concourses, and underground. No one can stop them until they are finished!

YOUR GREATEST OPPORTUNITY FOR REWARDS

How would you like to have some of the GREATEST rewards handed out in Heaven?

Rewards that you can give back to the Master at His feet!

Some of the most powerful things in God's Kingdom are the simplest.

Let me share with you something you can do that will be SUPER EFFECTIVE in:

Evangelism;

Raising up new Churches and Messianic Synagogues;

Reaching the nations for Messiah, and;

Bringing the healing, apostolic power of Messiah to individuals.

In Matthew 12, verses 12-29, Jesus said, “I cast out devils by the Spirit of God. How can one enter into a strong man's house (or, the devil's house), and spoil his goods, except he first BIND the strong man? And then he will spoil his (the devil's) house.” The binding and loosing power of the Church is one of the teachings of Messiah Jesus. Jesus said, “Whatever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you shall loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.” (Matthew 18:18)

In the original language of the text, the actual meaning of this text is as follows: “Whatever you bind on earth shall already have been bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall already have been loosed in Heaven.”

In graduate studies in different theological seminaries I attended we were NOT taught such things, even though they were some of the best conservative seminaries. However, one day a Chinese professor – who was also a good Hebrew scholar and president of another seminary – told us about he had bound Satan and cast out demons from a dwelling in China where Buddha had been worshipped. That opened my eyes!

Years ago the Lord began to minister to me about the binding and loosing power of the church. A short while afterward, I flew to the eastern part of the USA to hold a seminar at a Baptist church. The pastor picked me up at the airport and during the trip to his home we put the car onto a ferry and crossed a river. During that time he told me an amazing thing. He said, “Recently, the lord has been dealing with me about the binding and loosing power of the church.” (He didn't know the Lord had been shoing me the same thing.) He began to tell me about the many miracles they had seen as a result.

About six months after that, I had just returned from Africa where I had been ministering for five weeks. As soon as I returned home I received a phone call from a pastor who asked me to come meet a missionary family from the Indo China / Burma area. I was very weary and eeded rest; however, I felt the Lord wanted me to meet them.

There were three in the family: grandfather, father, and grandson. Together, they had labored in that demonized area for over 50 years, and had been imprisoned by the Communists. They told me an even more amazing story. They had seen very little fruit (souls saved) during the whole time of their ministry, starting with the grandfather. One day, the Lord instructed them to start “binding” Satan and casting him out of the areas where they had been and were to be ministering. They began to see many people being saved.

Next, the Lord instructed them to start “loosing” the Holy Spirit into these same areas. In not too long a time they baptized more than 50,000 new converts. You can read about their story in the book, Exodus from a Hidden Valley, published by Reader's Digest.

PRAY IN THIS MANNER

Use the “Binding and Loosing” authority of the Church. Bind Satan and his demons, and evil works and workers in the name of Jesus and cast them out of areas and domains.

Ask God to pour out His Spirit on every nation, tribe, tongue, and dialect … on every strata of society: political; educational; religious; business and commercial; martial, military and police forces; civil authorities, leaders and servants.

Loose the Holy Spirit into every area and strata of society. Ask the Lord to raise up a great Holy Spirit baptized Church and / or a great Messianic Synagogue in every neighborhood and village of the earth … and a great Holy Spirit baptized witness in every house or family of the earth.

AGREE WITH ME

Following the example(s) which Jesus taught us in Luke 11:5-8 and Luke 18:1-8, every day for years I have prayed for certain specific things. I won;t share most of them as they are personal; however, the LORD commanded me to share part of my daily prayer(s) with you … and to INVITE YOU to agree with me daily in some of these specific areas.

The LORD also commanded me to:

“Tell my people that if they do this faithfully they will impact the earth more greatly than in any endeavor they have taken part of previously. Also, they will reap great and huge rewards in Heaven as a result of this agreement. In days and years to come, those who are faithful in this prayer agreement will also prosper, have great favor, and be materially enriched in the earth.”

Below are five (5) items, part of what I pray for daily:

“Father in Heaven, in Jesus' name:

1. I bind the devil and cast him out of every nation, tribe, tongue and dialect of Planet Earth;

2. I cast the devil out and away from the rulers and leaders of Planet Earth: every type of ruler and leader in every strata of society;

3. I loose the Holy Spirit into every nation, tribe, tongue and dialect of Planet Earth and upon all the rulers and leaders of earth: every type of ruler and leader in every strata of society;

4. I loose one or more great Holy Spirit baptized Churches and/or Messianic Synagogues into every neighborhood and village of the earth;

5. I loose one or more great great Holy Spirit baptized witnesses into every house, home or family of the earth.”

PURSUING THE CALL OF GOD FOR YOUR LIFE

Is there a call on your life from the LORD for something different than what you are doing?

Follow your heart.

We are entering the orifice of the last days on Planet Earth and God has a SPECIAL JOB for which He has prepared you. There are “giftings” in you that have never been released … waiting for you to fulfill the call of God on your life.

Here are some resources to help you:

The Embarrassment of Faith;

The Perfect Center of God's Will; and,

Frustration and Your Future.

Your enemy, the devil, does not want you to fulfill this call on your life. But I have good news for you: your friend, Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus, the Messiah) has provided everything you need to fulfill this call … and He is waiting for you to enlist today … waiting to help you every step along the way.

WARNING: Pursuing the call of God for your life is a war. It is a lifetime of battles. It is analogous to the battles King David experienced at various times in his life. For example, when David – the shepherd warrior – was hiding for his life from King Saul, he was also the enemy of the Philistines, and thereby prone to attack by them at any time. David had enemies from different sectors.

I want to ask you three (3) questions:

How many – and how great – are YOUR enemies?

How many – and how great – are YOUR extremely serious circumstances?

How many – and how great – are YOUR challenges for which you need a MIRACLE?

One secret of David's life, and what made him a great shepherd, was that no matter how tough the circumstances in his own life, he was usually willing to help others. He didn't realize it, but this quality of life service kept him under the anointing. Never lose the anointing of the Holy Spirit. It is the anointing that breaks the yoke of the oppressor: your enemy, the devil.

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off your shoulder, and his yoke from off your neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” (Isaiah 10:27)

David had been told while in hiding from King Saul that the Philistines were fighting against Keilah, and were robbing the threshing floors. Keilah was an Israelite city near the Philistine border. The threshing floors were not well defended, and therefore the farmers would be discouraged when their grain, which was to be used for both food and seed, was gone.

Therefore, David inquired of the LORD, saying, “Shall I go and attack these Philistines?” And the LORD said to David, “Go and attack the Philistines, and save Keilah.” But David's men in the “3-D Group” said to him, “Look, we are afraid here in Judah. How much more then if we go to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines?” Then david inquired of the LORD once again, and the LORD answered him and said, “Arise, go down to Keilah. For I will deliver the Philistines into your hand.”

So David and his men went to Keilah, fought with the Philistines, won a strong victory, took away their livestock, and saved the inhabitants of Keilah. (1 Samuel 23:1-5)

In your pursuit of your spiritual occupation – the call of God on your life – are you listening to men … or to God? Are you willing to leave your comfort zone to deliver others?

Do you have a problem or circumstance so big you don't think you can win? You know in your mind that God can win, but you're not convinced in your mind that He will win through you. Why? Is it because of:

Fear?

A Satanic lie?

A feeling of unworthiness?

No assurance that God wants you to attack?

Conviction that some area of your life is not right with God?

Thinking your work for God is not of sufficient quality or quantity?

It will take to much effort or involvement for you to attack the problem?

After answering these questions, and surveying where you stand, then take the situation to God. Listen to God and He will give you direction. You may have to shut off your TV for a while, or go on a fast. Above all, you must be willing to do what He says … or don't bother asking. He knows ahead of time.

PREVENTING BAD FORESTS

In the last newsletter, "Growing Forests," we briefly discussed the importance of the POINT OF DECISION. In this newsletter we will discuss the contradistinction of growing GOOD forests, and teach you how to prevent bad forests: forests that wreck lives, families, and ministries. Preparation ahead of time is invaluable because your enemy is already, and always, planning for your demise. In this teaching I am going to provide you with revealed knowledge upon which you may act, and thereby enable you to successfully resist the devil and prevent bad forests from growing.

First of all, let me say that the Word of God teaches us to "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." (James 4:7) However – in the forerunner of the last days in which we live – the enemy has many tricks with which both to allure and deceive you to attempt to position you in a state of spiritual lethargy: so that you will be caught in his trap and not want to resist . . . until it's too late.

He may attack you unwittingly at first in a dream, through an advertisement, in a medium of entertainment . . . or in thought. He knows that you know the Word of God. The enemy has to work through BOTH your mind and your senses.

In the last lesson we discussed growing GOOD forests through your thinking, your ideas, and even your attitudes. We also discussed that you can grow BAD forests. This is where the POINT OF DECISION is so important. If you haven't already, go back and prayerfully study "Growing Forests." It is extremely important!

When you have a good idea, other things many times interrupt you. Why do you think this happens? Usually, it is none other than the work of Satan. Let me explain – through revealed knowledge revealed to me by the Holy Spirit – how the enemy works upon you. The devil is like a man who takes advantage of a woman, and then leaves her. He takes advantage of you by tempting you with an idea. You SEE the idea. Your carnal man then wants, or desires, to be involved in the action, or implementation, of the idea.

After the activity is initiated and then consummated, the following things happen:

The anointing of the Holy Spirit leaves you;

The devil leaves you;***

False peace enters; and then,

Conviction enters (an awareness that something is wrong).

***Notice: The devil will not leave you (that is, stop badgering you) until the anointing leaves you. That's why people then have a false sense of peace. They are NOT any longer experiencing the drive and temptation of the enemy. (He doesn't need to bother them at this juncture, because he finished his job: to get them to lose the anointing.) This doesn't mean they don't have the Holy Spirit in them, or that they can't win souls, witness, or minister . . . it means they have ceased being a "new sharp threshing instrument" in Kingdom work . . . the anointing is gone. Samson didn't have the Holy Spirit IN him, but he had the anointing of the Spirit upon him for service until he lost it. King David cried out, after he had sinned, "take not your Holy Spirit from me."

This is why the POINT OF DECISION is so important. As soon as you have a BAD IDEA, do the following:

1. Resist the devil with the Word of God. (James 4:7)

2. If the drawing of Satan (the temptation) is too strong, you MUST take the “way of escape” immediately. This is because the enemy has already gained a foothold in your mind and or senses.

“There has no temptaion taken you but such as is common to man, but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that which you are able (to withstand); but will with the temptation also make a way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.” – 1 Corinthians 10:13

You MUST WANT to take the “way of escape.” My job in this teaching is to reveal to you, by the help of the Holy Spirit, HOW MUCH Satan hates you and wants to ruin your life, your family and your ministry. The devil does NOT want you to be the powerful instrument God has made of you. You need to SEE THIS FACT. You can give the devil NO PLACE from which he may operate or attack you. The enemy is really trying to attack God and His Kingdom through you.

This is why – if you will read the context of the passage in Corinthians – the Spirit says in the previous verse: “Wherefore let him that thinks he stand take heed lest he fall.” (Verse 12)

The temptation may be to do anything contrary to the will of God. (The Word of God is the WILL of God.) The temptation may be in any form. The enemy knows where you are most vulnerable; once you have learned to protect yourself in these areas, he will try to devise NEW MEANS to attack you: new ideas to allure you.

3. Immediately, get on your knees and cry out to God to deliver you. Ths scripture says, “And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.” (Psalm 50:15)

The POINT OF DECISION is where you have to act … you have to move toward God. The enemy is called “the serpent” because he is slithery and deadly. Many Christians – some of them leaders, anointed by God – have lost the anointing and grown bad forests. They thought they could stand, and let down their guard.

You and I are in a war which comprises many and continuous spiritual battles. Our Commander-in-Chief has promised us victory if we listen to His directives. My purpose in this teaching is to remind you of how vicious the enemy is, and how he will try to subtly attack you just like he did Eve in the garden. The enemy will use three (3) areas of attack:

The lust of the flesh – appetite – the taste (good for food).

The lust of the eyes – appeal – good to look upon.

The pride of life – applause – the desire to make one wise.

The Apostle John wrote: “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any person loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world – the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life – is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passes away, and the lust thereof; but he that does the will of God abides forever.” (1 John 2:15-17)

Commit your works to the LORD and your thoughts will be established. The Master has need of you. Do NOT let somebody be hurt … and do NOT let your Savior be hurt … as a result of you growing BAD forests.

The POINT OF DECISION is where you have to act. Grow GOOD forests: for your family, your ministry, the nations of the world … and for yourself!

GROWING FORESTS

While at a large metropolitan city - I don't remember where - I was in a hotel room reflecting, praying, and meditating before going to minister. Several stories up, I was looking out over the city to a large forest. I thought, "Where did all those trees come from?" As quickly as I had this thought, came an answer: "From a seed."

What kind of forest would you like, or need, to grow today? Is it a forest for your family, for your ministry, for the nations of the world . . . or for something personal in your life? Most of you reading this teaching already know about sowing and reaping. That is not the purpose of this teaching. What I want to teach you today is: "How to grow forests through your thinking, your ideas, and even your attitudes."

King David was a prime example of growing forests: he thought "God thoughts." He had an idea of how to use his sling shot to penetrate a small opening in the armor of Goliath, and he had a positive attitude versus a nine foot giant. He knew intimately his God and trusted Him. However, King David grew forests both positive and negative. In the positive sense, he drew from his experience and skill as a shepherd, and killed Goliath; which act later catapulted David into the office of King and leader over Israel. In the negative sense, he lusted after Bathsheba, which act played itself out in adultery with her and the murder of her husband, Uriah.

The result was fourfold judgment on David's own household:

1. The death of David's child who was born by Bathsheba (Uriah's wife).

2. The rape of Tamar, David's 15 year old virgin daughter, by his 22 year old son Amnon.

3. The murder of Amnon by Absalom, Amnon's younger brother, .

4. Absalom's treason against King David, his father, resulting in Absalom's death.

These four (4) judgments were actually the fulfillment of a prophecy (a message from God) which Nathan, the prophet, delivered to King David because of David's crime of adultery with Bathsheba, Uriah's wife, and the subsequent murder of Uriah. This prophecy, which Nathan related to David as a story about a rich man with many sheep who stole his poor neighbor's only lamb, was actually according to the demands of the Law (to restore fourfold any sheep stolen) in Torah: Exodus 22:1.

This is where the POINT OF DECISION is so important. Learn to ACT towards God at the point of decision. My mother used to say, "You should have nipped it in the bud." We are continuously growing forests: either negatively or positively. This is why Jesus said: "For a beautiful tree does not produce worthless fruit; neither does a rotten tree produce valuable fruit." (Luke 6:43) We are not just planting forests when we give money. We are continuously growing forests . . . positive forests or negative forests . . . good forests or bad forests! "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap." (Galatians 6:7)

Jesus also instructed us: "For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: all these things come from within, and defile the man." (Mark 7:21-23) This is why the Proverbs admonish us, "For as a person thinks in his heart, so is he." (Proverb 23:7)

In Job 22:28 we read, "You shall also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto you ..." In the original Hebrew language the word "decree" is a primitive root form of the word "gazar", which means "to cut out exclusively, or to decide". In its primitve form it is used also as a "quarrying" term ... as in cutting out stone from a rock quarry. It means more than to "say" or "speak". It conveys the meaning of "cutting something out in your mind's eye"; that is, "to envision [to make a vision], to decide upon it, and confess it" ... and then it will be established unto you!

Learn to control your heart, your inner thought processes! Your inner thought processes are constantly planting NEW FORESTS that will either grow to your advantage or disadvantage. This is one reason the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 13 that "love . . . believes all things, hopes all things." (Verse 7) Faith works through love (Galatians 5:6). So we first must have a vehicle (or, a conduit) through which our faith can work. I have heard people spouting words of faith who at the same time didn't seem to be emanating much love. We, at times . . . especially in difficult situations . . . have to back up one step and ASK God for love. Then, we can believe all things, hope all things. Then, we can grow large quality forests.

How many times have you had a thought that played out? Maybe it was something good that you really wanted . . . or maybe it was something you were afraid of. I was talking to a person on the phone recently who was not a believer and who said to me, "Whenever I have a thought about something it happens to me."

Learn to spend quality time meditating and thinking . . . visualizing in the mind's eye of your heart . . . the GREAT THINGS you want to do for God. Plant and grow GIANT FORESTS of good. Remember, God promised you that He is "able to do exceeding abundantly above all that you ask or think." (Ephesians 3:20) Spend time planting and cultivating your forest. Any worthwhile thing in life takes time, so why not spend good quality time planning and preparing your forest. There are several practical keys to growing GOOD forests. They are all listed in the podcast of this teaching. Listen to it and invest in yourself … and in your future!
