HOW TO PLEASE GOD

Psalm 43 is a Psalm of David. “Hear my prayer, O LORD, give ear to my supplications: in Your faithfulness answer me, and in Your righteousness. And enter not into judgment with Your servant: for in your sight will no man living be justified.” (Verses 1 and 2)

Being involved in ministry does NOT make us holy, nor does working with God's Word or being involved with the distribution of God's Word. It does NOT make us more righteous than other people.

“For He (God) has made Him (Messiah Yeshua) to be sin for us, Who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.” (2 Corinthians 5:21)

“That no flesh should glory in His presence. But you are of Him (Messiah Jesus), who of God is made unto us wisdom and righteousness and sanctification and redemption.” (1 Corinthians 1:29-30)

Our OBEDIENCE to God's Word and to the leading (or, inner prompting) of His Spirit are what pleases Him.

The Tanakh tells us that the Prophet Samuel said, “Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to listen (is better) than the fat of rams.” (1 Samuel 15:22)

Ministry is a PRIVILEGE as well as a CALLING; but to listen to God and obey Him is a matter of our will: a TEST and an OPPORTUNITY to please God and to PROVE our love for Him at any given moment.

THE EMBARRASSMENT OF FAITHHOW TO BE USED GREATLY BY GOD

Somebody reading this message today has received a promise from G-d with instructions to START a unique and powerful service for the LORD. As a matter of fact, the revelation to you is so BIG, you are questioning as to whether it is really G-d. You also are concerned as to what others . . . even believers in Messiah . . . will think of you if you obey.

If you want to be greatly used by G-d, you will have to always . . . each time . . . be willing to take a STEP, or make a MOVE, of faith. It will NOT be walking out on a limb (of a tree) by faith and then sawing off the limb. However, it WILL be sawing the limb off first, and then walking out by faith.

Noah sawed the limb off when he STARTED building the Ark. Thus did Noah; according to all that G-d commanded him, so did he. (Torah: Genesis 6:22) Notice that Noah obeyed G-d in ALL the things in which he was instructed by G-d.

There is a reason G-d gives us instructions in detail. However, sometimes He may give us at first general, or nonspecific, leading; and later, when we arrive at the place for new instructions, He will be more specific. Why should God give all the plans out when we havent taken the FIRST step and started to carry out His instructions.

Notice that the great leaders and deliverers which G-d used to impact and save humanity were required to do what seemed FOOLISH in the eyes of the world. Noah STARTED BY building the Ark, and he and his family were probably laughed at and scorned for 120 years. What he did probably seemed crazy in the eyes of the community.

Abraham left his fathers wealth and the false gods and idols of his people to follow the True G-d that his relatives and friends could NOT see. He STARTED by heading out to a place he had never been, and didnt know where it was. It was a place that G-d said He would show Abraham. 

"Now the LORD G-d said unto Abram, Get out of your country, and from your kindred, and from your father's house, unto the land that I will show you." (Torah: Genesis 12:1 ASV)

Concerning WHAT has G-d been speaking to YOU? Whatever it is, you may have to be willing to accommodate the embarrassment of faith. That is, you may have to adapt to, or fit in with, self-consciousness, uncomfortableness, and uneasiness. You may have people look down upon you with pity or shame. If you dont allow yourself to walk in the Spirit, you may even feel awkward; especially if you allow yourself to objectively look at the situation in the natural.

During Abrahams walk of faith, after he had STARTED, at one point G-d promised to give him a son and then descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and the sand on the sea shore. 

"Who against hope (Abraham) believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken (by G-d): So shall your descendants be." (Brit Chadashah: Romans 4:18)

"And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about a hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarahs womb." (Verse 19)

Abraham was 100 and Sarah was 90 when Isaac was born.

"He staggered not at the promise of G-d through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to G-d; and being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform." (Verse 20)

WHAT HAS G-D PROMISED YOU?

WHAT STEP OR MOVE HAS G-D REQUIRED OF YOU?

WHAT IS THE EMBARRASSMENT OF FAITH YOU MAY PROBABLY ENCOUNTER?

I have a word for you from G-d. After you START in this faith endeavor which G-d has promised to perform, you will not care what people think about you. You will be so overwhelmed with JOY and the ANOINTING of the Holy Spirit that you are oblivious to what people . . . even some followers of Messiah Yeshua . . . think or say.

If G-d is going to do the work through you by HIS GRACE, it is going to have to be by YOUR FAITH. You will have to BELIEVE and START: take the action, make the move! If you really believe G-d CAN and WILL do what He has told you, then be willing to encounter the embarrassment of faith. G-d told Abraham:

"I have made you a father of many nations, before whom Abraham believed, even G-d, who makes alive the dead, and calls those things which be not as though they were (already)." -- Verse 17

If you are involved in a project or endeavor where others have joined you, G-d will be good to at times give you encouragement, even FAITH LEADING, through them. Do NOT discount the advice of others who are with you in the faith project the LORD has assigned you. The only time you should NOT listen is when you definitely know what God wants you to do at that stage of the game, and other advice is conflicting.

This requires you to follow your spirit, the voice of your inner man. If you do NOT KNOW it is G-d, then dont do it. I promised G-d at a particular juncture in my life and ministry that I would never do anything that I wasnt sure He wanted me to do. Study the BLOG titled, If Youre Not Sure ... Dont!

Recently I prayed for a lady to conceive. When I prayed, the power of G-d came upon me. There was NO doubt; the anointing of the Spirit was so strong upon me that I could feel it in my arms. His presence was intense. I have prayed for several barren women to conceive who conceived in 30 days. G-d knows how to fulfill His promises without our help. We just need to use our faith.

Sarah, after many years of being barren suggested to Abraham that he lay with her maidservant, Hagar, and that way they could have a child. In other words, she thought they could help G-d keep His word, or promise, to Abraham! G-d doesnt need help in keeping His Word. If He promised you something, then just do what He told you: obey in faith.

However, notice that about 14 years later, it was Sarahs faith that brought about her MIRACLE CONCEPTION of Isaac.

"Through faith also Sarah herself received strength to conceive seed (at the age of 90), and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. Therefore sprang there even of one, and him (Abraham, age 100) as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable." (Brit Chadashah: Hebrew 11:11-12)

In Hebrews 11:11, when the scripture says, "Through faith also Sarah, herself ..." The Greek word for "herself" implies "something remarkable: that Sarah would manifest this faith." She had laughed years before at even the suggestion by Abraham of G-d's promise through a divine visitation. (Genesis 18:1-15) But now, years later, she had grown in her trust in G-d, probably through living with Abraham. Abraham was now 100 and Sarah was 90. (Genesis 17:17 and 18:11)

Even though Sarah influenced Abraham to make a bad decision 14 years earlier to try to help G-d in the FLESH (Brit Chadashah: Galatians 4:23) with the subsequent birth of Ishmael, she later through FAITH was the instrument God used to bring about the PROMISE of the child Isaac! And, with the result of not only millions of descendants of Abraham, but the establishment of the seed line through which Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) would come to earth through a MIRACLE VIRGIN BIRTH 2,100 years later.

Your obedience to the promise of G-d, exercised through your START - your step of faith and subsequent walk of faith - even though making you an exhibition to the world ... and the resulting EMBARRASSMENT of faith ... will result in the PROMISE of God being performed to bless YOU, your descendants, and the nations of the world.

Die to the embarrassment of faith and bring resurrection LIFE to you, your family, your associates, and the world. Many will join you later and thank you for both the privilege of working with you and being under your leadership!

GOD CAN CREATE OPTIONS FOR YOUTURNING THINGS AROUND

After David and his men attacked the Philistines at Keilah and defeated them, King Saul heard that David was in Keilah. So Saul said, “God has delivered him into my hand, for he has shut himself in by entering into a town that has gates and bars.” (1 Samuel 23:7)

This is the same thig Pharaoh said about the children ofodus 14:3) Israel after they had marched out of bondage and were at the edge of the Red Sea. “They are entangled in the land. The wilderness has shut them in.” (Torah: Exodus 14:3)

This is the same thing Satan says about you, “That person is trapped, and will never get out of this situation.”

You have to make a decision: to listen to God for directions and obey what He tells you … or to listen to Satan. It's that simple … the choice is yours.

If you listen to Satan, you don't have to do anything: just accept defeat. If you listen to God, you may have to fight and work hard to succeed in accomplishing your victory. It's that simple … the choice is yours.

David asked God, “Will Saul come after me? Will the men of Keilah deliver me and my men into the hand of Saul?” The Hebrew word for “deliver” used here is “sagar” and means “to shut up or surrender.” David, by this time, had learned a great lesson in warfare: don't assume anything. A person can stab you in the back while they are hugging you. Let me repeat that: “Don't assume anything!”

In the natural, David wouldn't have asked God the latter part of the question because he had just saved the men of Keilah, along with their families and possessions. However, David knew that his trust was in God and not men. God answered him, “Saul will come down to you … the men of Keilah will deliver you [if you stay].” (Verses 11 and 12.)

So David and his men, who were about 600 at this time, arose and departed from Keilah and went wherever they could go. It was told Saul that David had escaped from Keilah; so he halted the expedition.

It doesn't matter HOW God works … just so He works! Find out the will of God when you are in a circumstance too hard for you, or a circumstance about which you need to be adversial, or a circumstance in which you need wisdom. Listen to Him. God has many options, plus He can create NEW ones anytime He wants.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:8-9)

We see how God delivered Elisha and his steward with angels in 2 Kings Chapter 6. The king of Syria was making war against Israel and Elisha told his leaders where the Syrian king would establish a military base from which to attack. And the man of God, Elisha, told the king of Israel, “Beware that you do not pass this place for the Syrians are coming down there.”

MILITARY SECRETS & PROPHETS

Concerning the military secrets of Syria, let me remind you of a historical record in the Tanakh, in the record of the Kings of Israel: We read an interesting passage:

"Now the king of Syria was warring against Yisra'el; and he took counsel with his servants, saying, In such and such a place shall be my camp.The man of G-d sent to the king of Yisra'el, saying, Beware that you not pass such a place; for there the Syrians are coming down. The king of Yisra'el sent to the place which the man of G-d told him and warned him of; and he saved himself there, not once nor twice.The heart of the king of Syria was sore troubled for this thing; and he called his servants, and said to them, Won't you show me which of us is for the king of Yisra'el?One of his servants said, No, my lord, O king; but Elisha, the prophet who is in Yisra'el, tells the king of Yisra'el the words that you speak in your bedchamber."

In 2006 on this podast I gave information about terrorist plans against Hebrew University at Mt. Scopus starting via the desert (not the highway) from 30 kilometers south of Eilat (inland from the Gulf of Aqaba) up to a Bedouin camp southeast of Jerusalem and then to the City.

Let me encourage the true prophets of God – the navi'm – to help Israel and her leaders by speaking forth the revelations and anointed declarations given to you by the Ruach Ha Kodesh.

Also, pray for the future Jewish prophets of God – 144,000 of them (12,000 from each of the 12 tribes of Israel) – who will be the last day evangelists to deliver the Good News of Yeshua Ha Mashiach to Israel. Many … if not most … are probably alive right now.

The warning Elisha gave to the king of Israel happened several times, and that troubled the king of Syria. The Syrian king said to his servants, “Tell me who is spying for the king of Israel, and revealing to him my plans?” One of his servants answered, and said, “No one. It is the prophet who is in Israel; he tells the king of Israel what you say in your bedroom.” (2 Kings 6:8-11.)

Then the king of Syria said, “Go see where he is at so that I may send troops to go get him.” Someone then told the king, “The prophet is in Dothan.” Then the king sent horses and chariots – a large group – and they surrounded the city where the prophet was. The next morning, when Elisha's servant woke up, he saw the chariots and servants surrounding the city and said, “Oh, my master, what are we to do?” (Verses 14 and 15.)

Then Elisha said, “Don't be afraid, those that are with us are more than those that are with them.” And Elisha prayed and said, “Lord, open his eyes that he may see.” Then, the LORD opened the eyes of Elisha's servants so that he could see in the Spirit: and he saw the mountain full of angels and horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.” (Verses 16 and 17.)

TO BELIEVE THE IMPOSSIBLE YOU MUST FIRST SEE THE INVISIBLE!

GOD HAS MANY ANGELS AVAILABLE TO WORK FOR YOU AS YOU INVOLVE YOURSELF IN HIS KINGDOM WORK!

When the Syrians came to take Elisha, he prayed to the LORD, “Strike these people, I pray, with blindness.” Then Elisha told the enemy, “Follow me, you are going the wrong way; this is not the way. I will bring you to the man you are looking for.” But he led them to the king of Israel in Samaria, and then prayed, “Lord, open the eyes of these men that they may see.” Elisha told the king to feed them instead of killing them. The Syrians returned to their king, and after that the bands of Syrian raiders never came back into Israel. (Verses 18-23)

Those were beautiful REAL MIRACLES that happened in Dothan. However, there was another situation in Dothan that happened about 1,300 years before. There was a young man in Dothan who needed deliverance, also, but was taken captive by his own brothers, placed in a pit, and sold to traders who were going into Egypt. That young man was heart broken, betrayed by his own family members.

Later, he was falsely accused by a woman and placed into prison. But, during all this time he never forgot the vision – the dream – God had given him years before. Finally, 13 years later, he became Prime Minister, economic couselor to Pharaoh (king) of Egypt. In that position he not only saved the nations of Middle East from a world famine, but he even saved his family who had betrayed him. His name was Joseph.

GOD DOES NOT ALWAYS WORK THE SAME WAY IN YOUR LIFE AS HE DOES IN OTHERS!

YOUR JOB IS TO LOVE GOD, FORGIVE OTHERS, BELIEVE HIM FOR MIRACLES, AND NEVER LOSE THE VISION HE HAS GIVEN YOU.

My friend, one bad decision can ruin your life – in the natural – but, God can turn that bad decision around and cancel it out and make it a blessing to you … and to others around the world.

DESCRIPTION OF THIS TEACHING

Real, born again, Christians are in a single government under Jesus Christ, the Messiah of Israel, just as in a "res publica." However, instead of being politically organized, they are organically united by the HOLY SPIRIT [Ephesians 1:13], having been born again by the WORD of God [1 Peter 1:23], and purchased into freedom by Messiah's BLOOD [Ephesians 1:7].

In this teaching you will learn about the POWER of the BLOOD of Christ to PROTECT. Use it - declare it daily - for YOU, your FAMILY ... and your PROPERTY!

PRESENT ACTIVE ENERGY IN THE BLOOD OF MESSIAH

The causal effect, the ability and authority to do exploits, in the BLOOD of Christ is resident and available currently to every believer in Yeshua.

Real, born again, Christians are in a single government under Jesus Christ, the Messiah of Israel, just as in a "res publica." However, instead of being politically organized, they are organically united by the HOLY SPIRIT [Ephesians 1:13], having been born again by the WORD of God [1 Peter 1:23], and purchased into freedom by Messiah's BLOOD [Ephesians 1:7].

We have the authority in His name to carry out His mandate and directive, and to publish and teach the Good News in all the world with resultant signs and wonders following.

We have available to us as citizens in His Kingdom: His BLOOD, His NAME, His WORD, and His SPIRIT . . . not to mention the help of the holy angels. How could we NOT succeed in every endeavor in which He leads us? The purpose of this writing is to examine:

• The causation of the active energy in the BLOOD of Messiah;

• The authority of the active energy in the BLOOD of Messiah; and,

• The benefits of the active energy in the BLOOD of Messiah.

In the Torah, the five books of Moshe, we read where the LORD spoke unto Moshe, saying:

"For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it unto you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that makes an atonemont for the soul." (Leviticus 17:11)

This is why the priests of Israel sacrificed the blood of animals prescribed by God; to atone for their sins and the sins of the people. It was a picture of the real Lamb of God, Messiah Yeshua (Jesus), who would come one day to make the one-time FINAL SUPREME sacrifice for the sins of the world.

When God greated man, He created a body from the dust of the ground. That is, from substances and chemicals from Planet Earth. Then, God breathed into the man's body the "breath of life." That life was held in a chemical substance known as the blood.

The life of the flesh is in the blood! If you lose your blood … you lose your life!

Blood is NOT life, but it CARRIES life. Life itself is spiritual, but it must have a physical carrier.

Blood does NOT control the color of skin or culture, but it carries the LIFE that comes from God. There is NO chemical difference between live blood and dead blood, apaart from blood type, except the LIFE that God put in it!

The female ovum has NO blood. The male spermatozoa has NO blood. However, when both come together there is conception: new life.

Jesus' birth was no normal conception. It was a supernatural creative act: a virgin birth. The body was prepared by God's Spirit. Man had nothing to do with Christ's birth. Joseph and Mary never got together sexually before Jesus was born. After Jesus was born, then Joseph and Mary had four sons and also daughters. (Matthew 13:55-56)

There is a FALSE teaching which postulates that the Holy Spirit supplied "spiritual" spermatozoa. This is NOT true for two (2) reasons:

1. It would mean that Adam's blood (within Mary as part of the human, or Adamic, race) would have been mixed (included) in Jesus; therefore, it would contain sin and could NOT pay for the sins of the world. (Romans 5:12)

2. It would mean that Jesus would have NO prior existence.

Hebrews 10:5-7 shows us:

"Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you have prepared for me. In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin you had no pleasure. Then I said, 'Behold, I have come – in the volume of the book it is written of me – to do your will, O God.'"

This is the fulfillment of a Messianic prophecy in Psalm 40:6-8, written 1,000 years before Christ as a psalm of King David.

God prepared a body for His Son, Jesus, before Bethlehem. Yeshua was the ONLY BEGOTTEN of the Father. (John 1:14)

Jesus' life came from God, the Father, by the Holy Spirit. That's why He said, "I am the life." (John 14:6)

God imparted His own LIFE into the BLOOD of Jesus.

Mary's adamic blood (inherited from Adam, the head of the human race) was corrupt. (It contained sin.) Mary declared that Jesus, her son, was "God, my Savior." (Luke 1:47)

Mary was the chosen carrier of the body of her son: Yeshua (Jesus). However, ALL THE BLOOD came from God. Yeshua's (Jesus') BLOOD was NOT contaminated by Adam's sin which brought sin, sickness, and death into human blood. Adam introduced death into the human family.

"Therefore, just as through one man (Adam) sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and therefore death spread to all men …" (Romans 5:12)

Thank God, we have been BOUGHT BACK with the BLOOD of Christ, a different category of blood – priceless – containing God's life, which could pay for our sins!

"Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as a lamb without blemish and without spot.

He indeed was foreordianed before the foundation of the world, but was manifest (revealed) in these last times for you, who through Him believe in God, Who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God." (1 Peter 1:18-21)

It's interesting to note that one of the names of the devil is "Beelzebub." The original Hebrew name means "Lord of the flies" and was the name of a Philistine god. It was a "dung god." What a wonderful title for Satan: "Lord of the maggots … the manure god."

Dead blood draws flies. However, the GOOD NEWS is that the BLOOD of Jesus repulses Satan and his demons. Speak the BLOOD of Christ over your home and family. Just as the Israelites applied the BLOOD to their doors so that the death angel would pass over (see Exodus Chapter 12), so you can apply the BLOOD of Christ over your family and home by speaking it in faith over them.

IMPORTANT >>> Declare the BLOOD of Christ over yourself AND your loved ones daily ... and over all that God has given you by birth, adoption, or assignment!

Hebrews 9:22 tells us: "And according to the (Levitical) law, almost all thigs are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is not remission."

The Greek word for "remission" here used is "aphesis" (from "aphiemi," meaning "to send away"). It's a release from bondage or imprisonment, a dismissal or sending away, and also forgiveness." It is also used for "cancelling out all judgment, punishment, obligation, or debt." It is deliverance, liberty, remission, and forgiveness!

Many people quote Hebrews 9:22 wrongly and end the verse using the words: "there is no remission of sins." But … it is MUCH MORE: it is remission of sin, sickness, poverty, oppression, loss, devouring, demon possession. It is spiritual, mental, physical, material, financial, social, and relational remission … including remission of ancestral and generational curses. The BLOOD of Christ has present active energy. The BLOOD prevails. USE it!

YOUR GREATNESS

Jesus said that John the Baptist was a strong man, and more than a prophet: he was the promised messenger of the Hebrew Tanakh (Old Testament) who would be the one to prepare the way for the Messiah.

And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, “What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A man clothed in fine clothing? Listen, those who wear that kind of clothing live in king's palaces. But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I say to you, and more than a prophet. For this is he of whom it is written: 'See, I am sending my messenger before your face, and he will make your road ready for you.'” (Isaiah 40:3; Matthew 11:7-10)

But Jesus said the following about YOU: “I solemnly tell you that among all people born of women, no greater person has ever been raised than John the Baptist; yet a person who is least in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than John the Baptist.”

John announced the presence of Jesus, the Messiah, in a specific geographic location … but YOU preach Him resurrected: bringing deliverance, healing and blessing … prosperity, power, and wholeness … to all people in every nation, tribe, and language of the earth!

Jesus also said this about YOU: “In the most solemn truth I tell you that the person who trusts in me, who really believes upon me, the things that I do he will do also; and GREATER things than these he will do, because I am going to the Father.” (John 14:12)

My friend, stop letting the devil – and people – lie to YOU. You are GREAT in the eyes of your Heavenly Father, and He has CHOSEN YOU to do a GREAT JOB in these last days. Get alone and listen to God ... spend time with Him ... He will direct you. Listen to the Holy Spirit. Find out what he wants you to do TODAY … and in the future. And as you are going about it, be a witness for the Messiah Jesus!

JESUS WANTS YOU TO MAKE IT TO THE OTHER SIDE

What are the storms in your life at this time?

What barriers seem to keep you from progressing in your goals?

What are the “seeming” impasses in your life, your career, you ministry now?

I have GOOD NEWS for you! Jesus wants you to succeed. Jesus will help you to succeed.

In a previous teaching I discussed how Jesus spoke to BOTH the wind and the sea. (Luke 8:22-25) Also, WHY you need to speak to BOTH the root cause of any problems in your life … and to any malevolent processes that continue as an effect of the root cause.

On a separate occasion, in Matthew 14:22 we read, “And immediately Jesus constrained His disciples to get into a ship, and to go before Him unot the other side, while He sent the multitudes away.” While the ship was in the middle of the sea, a strong wind began tossing the boat with waves.

But in the early morning hours, Jesus went to his disciples walking on the sea, and He said to them, “Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.” When esus came into the ship the wind ceased and they made it over to their destination on the other side.

Are the waves of instability rocking your boat?

Are the winds of uncertainty blowing in your life right now?

Are things happening in your ministry that you don't understand?

Jesus did NOT tell you to get into the boat so you would sink. He wants you to make it to the other side.

STOP!

Ask Him into your boat – your situation – right NOW!

He will come in with His peace, and help you make it to the other side.

ALL THINGS THAT JESUS HAS ARE YOURS

“He (the Holy Spirit) will glorify me, for He will take of what is mine and declare it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He (the Holy Spirit) will take of mine and declare it to you.” (John 16:14-15)

Are you having trouble believing for GREAT THINGS – impossible things – in your life and ministry? How big can you THINK? How big can you ASK? Make sure your plans and your goals go BEYOND what you can do. When you enter the realm of impossibility, then you are in God's realm: the realm of MIRACLES. Then, He will have to get the glory!

Do not hesitate to BELIEVE BIG!

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above ALL that we ASK or THINK, according to the power that works in us … “ (Ephesians 3:20)

Go ahead and START that new work for God … for His glory!

GOD HAS THINGS PREPARED AHEAD OF TIME FOR YOU

And when they came to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, He sent forth two of his disciples, and aid to them, “Go your way into the village before you, and as soon as you enter into it, you will find a colt tied upon which no one has ever been seated or ridden; loose the colt, and bring him here. And if any man says to you, 'Why are you doing this?' you answer to them, 'The Lord needs him,' and immediately he will send the colt here.” (Mark 1:1-3)

God has things prepared ahead of time for you. Don't worry or be concerned about what you DO NOT KNOW … or DO NOT SEE. Just move in FAITH as the Holy Spirit directs you … and say that which He directs you to say.

If you are serving the Master … when you need it, it will be there!

HOW TO DOUBLE ATTACK AND DEFEAT YOUR PROBLEMS

Your words are POWERFUL!

The Holy Bible teaches us how to DOUBLE attack our problems and to defeat them. Psalm 63 is a Psalm of David when he was in the wilderness of Judea. David was in the cave of Adullam with all the members of the "3-D Club" – everyone who was in DISTRESS, and everyone who was in DEBT, and everyone who was DISCONTENTED (bitter of soul). There were about 400 of them; and David became captain of them.

The prophet Gad warned David to leave there and go to the land of Judah, so David went into the forest of Hareth. [1 Samuel 22:5]

Psalm 63:3 says, "Because your loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise you."

The Hebrew word for "praise" used in this passage is "shabach" and means "to address in a loud tone, and also "to pacify." It is found 11 times in the Tanakh (Hebrew Old Testament). In eight of those passages it is used to express PRAISE. In the other three, it is used in passages to STILL, such as concerning the calming of the sea (Psalm 65:7; Psalm 89:9) and also of calming or quieting things within a person's heart (Proverbs 29:11). "Shabach" means "to praise, to still, to triumph."

You can praise with words, you can calm with words, and you can triumph with words.

FIRST, use praise!

The Bible teaches that God inhabits, or dwells in, the praises of His people. Literally he "makes his house" in the praise of His people. "But You are holy, You that inhabits the praises of Israel." [Psalm 22:3]

When you praise God, you are creating an atmosphere for God to invade your situation!

Also, if it is a situation where someone is angry with you (justly or unjustly), ask God to turn the situation around and claim this promise from His Word.

"Surely the wrath of man will praise You: (and) the remainder of wrath You will restrain." [Psalm 76:10]

Pray, and ask God to make the person's wrath PRAISE God. Then ask God to restrain the remainder of the wrath! I have done this many times in my life and I have NEVER seen it to fail. God has always honored His Word!

SECOND, do what Jesus did!

In the Brit Chadashah (Hebrew New Testament) at Mark 4:36-39 we read:

"And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him [Jesus] as He was in the ship. And there was also with Him other little ships. And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.

And He was in the back of the ship, asleep on a pillow, and they awoke Him, and said unto Him, 'Master, don't you care that we perish?' And He arose, and REBUKED the WIND, and SAID to the SEA, 'Peace, be still.' And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm."

Many of you know the Biblical truths of speaking in faith. We can see this in Mark 11:22-24 in Jesus' own words. The purpose of this teaching is to draw attention to WHY our Lord spoke to BOTH the wind and the sea.

There may be certain circumstances in your life NOW . . . and probably will be in the FUTURE . . . which will require you to DO what you learn in this newsletter. For whatever reasons of causation, certain situations can CONTINUE that the enemy would use to bring fear, defeat, concern, sickness, poverty, or other malevolent processes into action. There are two (2) things you need to do:\

1. You need to speak to the CAUSE . . . the ROOT or ORIGIN . . . of these processes and rebuke them as Jesus did the wind: command them to cease and desist in the name of Jesus.

2. You need to speak to the EFFECT . . . THE CONTINUING PROCESS . . . which is the result of the cause as Jesus did to the sea: command the process to die and cease operating in the name of Jesus.

Now, you know how to DOUBLE ATTACK your problems and to DEFEAT them!

You can PRAISE!

You can CALM

You can TRIUMPH!

A ROOF OF SILENCE

So many times we hear psychologists, and others, say that it is not good to keep things pent up inside us; that is, we need to express our opinions or views. They teach that we are to express ourselves outwardly and openly.

As a young minister preaching in the open air in large metropolitan cities in different countries, I would sometimes cross paths with people bound by Satan who were involved in the dangerous cult of Scientology. They would have their disciples go out into public places and do and say foolish things to “purge” or “clear” them of inner regressions.

One day I went – at the request of friends – to visit a Scientology Volunteer Minister, a relative of theirs about whom they were concerned. I told him that he was a “minister of Satan” and that I was a minister of Christ and had the POWER to cast the demons out of him. A voice speaking from him immediately said, “We will not come out. This is our house.” NOTICE: The use by the demon(s) speaking using the words “We” and “our” and “house.” (There were many demons in him.) The Scientology Minister did NOT want help and refused my offer to pray for his deliverance. Two weeks later he was admitted to an insane asylum and I think later committed suicide.

Many of God's People are doing a "release" of inner regressions - like the Scientologists - but on a different plane: they "release" gossip about a person by bringing up things (true, false, or imagined) about a person's past. Such people are (many times unknowingly) trying to "purge" themselves of inner hatred, bitterness or jealousy.

If we have something “inside us” that we should share with someone privately, we should make every effort - in love - to disclose that. However, there are times when it is better, as my mother used to say, to “let sleeping dogs lie.” I say it this way, “Be quiet and pray in tongues (the language of the Holy Spirit). Then, do what God tells you to do.”

The Holy Bible tells us that “Love bears all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” (Brit Chadashah: 1 Corinthians 13:7) The Greek word for “bears” here used is the word “stego” and means “to roof over;” that is, “to cover with silence.” It also has the thought of “enduring patiently.” Love covers and conceals the faults of another person. The scripture admonishes us to “be earnest in your love among yourselves, for LOVE covers a multitude of sins.” (Brit Chadashah: 1 Peter 4:8)

We need to “roof over” the sins, faults, and imperfections of others. So many of God's People are sick, incapacitated, or at the least physically not at their best, because they dig into the lives of others. They forget that God does NOT even do this, nor does He allow Satan to do this. Especially when one gossips – or talks in a demeaning manner – about the past of a believer in Messiah Jesus, they are going beyond the BLOOD of Christ. In this way they are violating the Law of the New Creation, and setting themselves up as little gods, declaring the BLOOD of Messiah as impotent, and NOT efficacious. “Therefore if anyone is in Messiah, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.” (Brit Chadashah: 2 Corinthians 5:17)

Such people receive bad reports from another, and do not even pay the person against whom the report was made the courtesy of asking them “Is this true” or asking “What is your side of the story?” I usually tell people, “I wasn't there, I didn't see it … so don't tell me about it.” A person who is empowered by God's love never makes the sins or failures of another person the subject of either censure or conversation.”

Isn't it really much easier … and better … to bring up the GOOD things about a person – past or present – than the bad? It is actually a litmus test of WHAT is inside YOU. Look for and proclaim the GOOD … “roof over” and cover the bad. Only when current error or danger proceeding from a person's life needs to be exposed should we consider taking the roof off of the matter. And remember, “Judge fruit … NOT motives.” When you judge others, you are really taking the cover off of yourself and showing what is inside YOU. Your are effectively saying, “If I were in their shoes, I would be doing that.”

“Judge not, that you be not judged.” (Brit Chadashah: Mattiyahu / Matthew 7:1)

Love covers and conceals – it “roofs over” – everything as far as it can. If a person empowered by God's love is the only one who has knowledge of the situation, he keeps it in his own heart: he “roofs over” the incident.
