HOW TO RESOLVE CONFLICTS THE BIBLE WAY

"We all stumble in many ways. If anyone is never at fault in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to keep his whole body in check." [James 3:2]

"Brethren, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted." [Galatians 6:2]

"Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to sin! Such things must come, but woe to the man through whom they come." [Matthew 18:7]

There are several categories of problems that must be addressed if we are to progress in our Christian walk. They are trespasses, offenses, or sins of the following nature:

[] If your brother trespasses against you. [Matthew 18:15]

[] If you offend your brother. [Matthew 5:23-26]

[] Offenses against children [Matthew 18:1-6; 18:10,14]

[] Offenses against the church; and

[] Offenses against those outside the church. [I Corinthians 10:32]

IF YOUR BROTHER TRESPASSES AGAINST YOU

1. You are to forgive him! "For if you forgive men their trespasses (offenses or misdeeds), your heavenly Father will also forgive you: but if you do not forgive men (for) their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." [Matthew 6:14-15]

2. Go tell him, or show him, his fault or trespass, just between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over; but if he will not listen, take one or two others along, so that 'every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses', as required by the law of Moses in Deuteronomy 19:15-17.[Matthew 18:15-16]

If he refuses to listen to them (the other witnesses), tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, treat him as you would a heathen (a non-Jew, or worshipper of a false God) or a tax collector. [Matthew 18:17] IF YOU OFFEND YOUR BROTHER

If you remember that your (Christian) brother has something against you, go and be reconciled to your brother ...*

Settle matters quickly with an enemy who is taking you to court. Do it while you are still with him on the way (to court), or he may hand you over to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you may be thrown into prison ... you will not get out until you have paid all your enemy can get. [Matthew 5:23-26]

*NOTE: If you are offering a special "seed offering" or gift to God, leave your gift; first go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift.

OFFENSES AGAINST CHILDREN

Jesus placed special importance on the treatment of little children especially children who believe on Him. He said that whoever offends* (or causes to stumble spiritually) a little child, will suffer great punishment. Always encourage little children to follow and love Jesus; help them in whatever way you can ... and remember, when you receive a little child in Jesus' name ... you receive Jesus! [Matthew 18:1-6]

Teach your people not to despise, nor to think badly, against a little child, for Jesus said, "In heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in Heaven." [Matthew 18:10]

NOTE: Offended (def) = hurt; wounded; affronted; vexed.

OFFENSES AGAINST THE CHURCH; AND THOSE OUTSIDE THE CHURCH

As the church looks out to evangelize the world it sees lost Jews and lost Gentiles (non-Jews). The church itself is made up of saved Jews and saved Gentiles (non-Jews). This is why 1 Corinthians 10:32 says, "Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God." [1 Corinthians 10:32] Notice the three (3) groups: 1) Jews; 2) non-Jews (Gentiles); 3) the church. Compare this with Ephesians 2:11-18.

Offenses against the church may be categorized as follows:

[] Wounding the conscience of a Christian brother;

[] Talking badly about, hurting, or opposing God's leaders;

[] Hindering (opposing, causing harm to, or slowing) the work of God;

[] Teaching false doctrine.

WOUNDING THE CONSCIENCE OF A CHRISTIAN BROTHER

There are some things that you know that you can do, that another Christian may not be able to do, because of conscience sake. For example, one Christian may feel in good conscience that he may drink wine, while another Christian may not. If the brother who does not feel he should drink wine (that is, he violates his own conscience by partaking) sees you drinking wine, he will be offended. You may cause him to stumble!

In such a case. the brother who feels he may partake should abstain at that present time, out of consideration for the other person and for the other person's conscience. Do not seek your own good and advantage and profit ... but rather seek the welfare of your brother [1 Corinthians 10:24]. All things are permissible, but not all things are helpful or profitable or wholesome. All things are legitimate, but not all things are constructive to character and building spiritual life [Verse 23].

Make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in your brother's way. If your brother is distressed because of what you eat, you are no longer acting in love. Do not by your actions destroy your brother for whom Christ died. It is better not to drink wine or to do anything else that will cause your brother to fall.

The Scripture says, "Do you have faith? Whatever you believe about these things, keep between yourself and God. Blessed is the man who does not condemn himself by what he approves. But the man who has doubts is condemned if he does NOT act from faith. Everything that does not come from faith is sin ... whatever is done without a conviction of its approval by God is sinful." [Romans 14:22-23]

TALKING BADLY ABOUT, HURTING, OR OPPOSING GOD'S LEADERS

Many Christians, as well as other people, are sick, poor, or have died because of their actions, thoughts, or attitudes against a minister of Christ.

The Scriptures abound with true-life examples of the above and the resultant judgments. In 1 Samuel Chapters 24 and 26 we read interesting accounts that describe the character of (King) David. King Saul had been hunting him to kill him, with 3,000 chosen men out of Israel.

Twice David had an opportunity to kill Saul but each time he refused to do so. David said, "Destroy him not: for who can stretch forth his hand against the Lord's anointed, and be guiltless? ... The Lord forbid that I should stretch forth mine hand against the Lord's anointed."

In your next lesson (Lesson Plan 19) on UNITY we will study a principle called "The Bridge Principle" and we will see why Saul acted the way he did. He finally retrogressed to the point where he even consulted a witch.

Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and since he rebelled against God's new choice of a leader in David (the "old order" versus the "new order") he ended up seeking help from the witch of Endor, who was a servant of the defeated one, Satan. [1 Samuel 28] You are who you run with! If you don't want fleas, don't lie down with the dogs!

Guard your spirit! Saul had been anointed with oil to be King over Israel by Samuel the Prophet. Because of disobedience Saul was rejected as king by God two times [1 Samuel Chapters 13 and 15], and God then chose David [1 Samuel 16]. Never think evil or do evil or say evil to, or about, a minister of Christ! Do NOT allow jealousy, rebellion, hatred, or strife to be part of your life ... especially as relates to ministry!

Following are a few examples of what happened when people took part in actions, thoughts, or attitudes against God's leaders. Read through these examples carefully (there are many more in the Holy Bible); let God speak to you and then teach your people!

1. Trying to deceive or lie to a man of God [2 Kings 5:15-27]

2. Hurting them physically [1 Kings 13:1-6]

3. Causing them anguish or mental stress [2 Kings 2:23-21]

4. landering them or gossiping about them [Genesis 37-45]

5. Hindering the work of God [Acts 13:6-12]

6. Thinking or wishing evil toward them [Esther 9:24-25]

7. Rebellion against God's leaders [Numbers 12:1-16]

8. Trying to make out with a minister's wife [Genesis 12:14-20, Genesis 20:1-18, and Genesis 26:6-11]

Notice that whole nations were in danger of judgment when men tried to have a relationship with an anointed man's wife ... even though they didn't know the woman was married!

About 40 years ago I took a preacher's wife to a drama. I had invited her and another Christian sister when he was out of town ministering. I was a fairly new Christian and a foolish young man. Even though I made no approaches that would seem to myself, or to other people, improper ... I sinned a great sin against an anointed man of God.

You may always weigh every deed and thought by this commandment: "Therefore all things whatsoever you would that men should do to you, you do even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets." [Jesus - Matthew 7:12]

Several years ago a Christian lady who lived only 1 block (about 100 meters) from my family came to our home while I was gone and gave a false prophecy against me to one of the family members. Within 24 hours her whole house was destroyed to the ground ... without one stick of wood remaining. She was left with no place to live for her or her children.

You need to teach your people ... and non-Christians ... these truths. Their lives, their health, their prosperity, their minds, and their spiritual well-being ... and their families ... may be in jeopardy if you don't! Don't be slow to tell people, "Don't mess with me or my family ... I'm a man (or, woman) of God!"

HINDERING THE WORK OF GOD

Even little things that hinder or slow down God's work are "weighty" in the eyes of God. People are generally ignorant concerning the anointing, the office of the anointing, and the anointed person.

Several years ago a delivery truck driver left a small inexpensive package for me at a neighbor's house. It was to be used in God's work. I didn't realize why I had not received it and one day the neighbor finally said they had the package. The neighbor was outside on the walk getting groceries out of her car and would not take the time to go into their house and get the package for us.

Shortly after, the neighbor drove her brand new Cadillac (one of the most expensive cars made in USA) into her garage ... it would NOT stop ... the car crashed through the back wall of the garage and drove into the swimming pool in the back yard and sunk.

The lady was blessed that she did not drown. She never got her car back and she was the "laughing stock" of three major cities as her story was on the front page of three very large newspapers. Don't mess with God's work ... or His workers!

One time, in a position of authority where God had placed me (it was a secular position, but one that enabled me to do God's work), a man was who was drunk was hindering me. I spoke the Word of God to him, and as I had my back to him he - probably the demon in him - picked up a large glass ashtray to hit me.

God spoke to me instantly and emphatically, "Let me handle this!" If I had tried to struggle in the flesh, I would have been doing just what the enemy wanted. The next day the man died of a brain hemorrhage. He was a young man in his 30's. God did handle it for me. Don't mess with God's work ... or His workers!

Several years ago a preacher and pastor, who I had helped much spiritually and materially, deceived me in a matter of courtship with a young lady. I had asked him different times, "Is there anything I need to know about her?" "Does she really love Jesus and is she really dedicated to Christ?" She appeared outwardly one way, but in my spirit I felt doubtful. The pastor kept assuring me of her dedication.

His lack of honesty, perhaps for financial gain, caused much trouble to me personally and to the work of God. Shortly after he became ill, lost much weight, and finally died young ... leaving behind a widow and three children. Always be honest with a man of God. Don't mess with God's work ... or His workers!

People who are relatives of a man of God have to be very careful. On the other hand ... they have tremendous opportunity to be blessed! After a great victory, King David returned to bless his household. His wife, Michal, spoke badly toward him because she had seen him dancing and praising God openly among other maidens. Because of her attitude towards her husband and her words to him, she had no child unto the day of her death. [2 Samuel 6:20-23] She turned an opportunity to be blessed into a curse!

My in-laws had vexed me for years: in my personal life, in my marriage, and in my ministry. I had liked my father-in-law and had looked forward to him living with us someday after he retired and was old. One day I found out that he had said three (3) very ugly and untrue things about me. He died a while later of a very cruel and extremely painful death.

I had gone to the hospital at God's direction (a long distance away) to visit him. The Lord showed me he needed to be able to talk to me in person and ask for forgiveness. When I arrived at the hospital, his wife, the mother-in-law, had instructed the hospital personnel not to allow me to visit him. He died there ... unable to clear himself with me personally.

The mother-in-law was demon-possessed. Several ministers had told her this through the years, men that I didn't even know. One time I took her to a very large Christian meeting held by a seasoned man of God who had ministered and raised up churches for around 50 years.

The man of God did not know her ... or me, in a personal way. We were seated toward the back of a very large crowd, and the preacher looked back and told her, "You have a demon!" ... and then he named the demon! Then he looked at me and said, "You are moving into your apostolic ministry!"

After she continued to cause much trouble with me, my family, and my ministry I told her one day, "Get your house in order. You are going to die for putting your hand to God's work!" Not long after, she died a terrible death, also. Both of the in-laws named the name of Jesus. I have long since forgiven them, but they turned an opportunity to be blessed into a curse!

One of the churches I pastored years ago was really under a blessing of God; I had ordained the Senior Pastor before me and the Senior Pastor before him. God was doing wonderful miracles of healing and in the lives of people. Also, we were producing about 250,000 pieces of literature a week; not to mention radio programs and tapes.

I made a big mistake when I became Senior Pastor. Because I knew several of the families there and also had ordained one of my assistants (the former Senior Pastor), I trusted everyone ... I never made sure I had control of the church. Unknown to me was demonic activity manifesting itself mainly in jealousies. As far as the ministry, my heart was pure; but overnight God's work was brought to a screaming halt.

A few people were mad because I had removed some people from their positions (some were their family members) and reduced the salary of others who I felt were receiving too much money. The church was then taken over by a rebellious faction. The city where this happened had never experienced a violent catastrophe, at least to my knowledge. Not long after, that city became the epicenter for a devastating earthquake! And God directed me into better fields!!

There was a young minister who was a personal acquaintance of mine. I had ordained him into the ministry. He was a good husband and father of three children. He had wonderful compassion for people. I had some fruitful ministry in meetings he organized. Over a period of time he began to observe some abuses in a very well-known, and anointed, church where I taught as a professor in the graduate school of theology.

He began to be bitter and talk about some of the ministers including the Senior Pastor who was ... and still is ... a wonderful man of God. He should first have gone and talked to the people involved, as is outlined in this lesson under "If Your Brother Trespasses Against You", step #2. He should also have followed the teaching in "The Abrahamic Principle" and "The Responsibility Principle" outlined in Lesson Plan(s) 19 and 20 of the Lessons on UNITY in the "Advanced Studies" at www.realmiracles.com.

Instead of praying for the people and letting God deal with the situation, he became more bitter and slanderous. One day as he was driving down the freeway a small piece of metal fell off the back of a truck and went through his windshield, striking him in the middle of the forehead. He died as a result, leaving a widow and three very young children.

I have used several personal examples in this lesson. Some have been "buried" in my heart for years; but if they help you, or some other minister, to escape the deception and tricks of the enemy ... and to become stronger in Christ ... then I am glad to have shared them!

Honor the anointing, and the anointed person, as well as the anointed office (or, position of authority set by God). Always use King David as an example in this regard and you'll be safe! As a young minister I attended Kathryn Kuhlman's meetings whenever I could. Among many things I learned was this:

The Holy Spirit is God's agent on earth to supply the resurrection power of Christ!

Be careful how you treat Him ... and speak about him! Honor Him!!

TEACHING FALSE DOCTRINE

This offense is BOTH against those inside the Church and against those outside the Church. You must protect your sheep ... and other churches' sheep. We are to bear one another's burdens [Galatians 6:2]. In some respect, just as in evangelism, we must inform those outside the church of false doctrine. However, don't let the devil run you ragged! You could chase around trying to correct false doctrines all of your life!

The cults have all have at least one of the three errors (if not all three!). They teach: 1) Jesus was NOT God in human flesh; 2) You can work your way to Heaven; 3) Hell is not real (or, if it is, it only lasts for a short period).

Be led by the Spirit of God! Follow the plain teachings of Jesus. Preach and teach the simple Gospel, apart from which there is no other gospel [1 Corinthians 15:1-5]. Obey the commission of Jesus in Matthew 28 and Mark 16. Adhere to the "Apostles' Creed". Use the pastoral writings of Paul and Peter and John as examples for church order and discipline, and obey the Word of God as revealed in the Holy Bible.

A three-fold cord is not easily broken. Buildings designed in triangulation or with three-sided segments are stronger. Jesus sent out his apostles to:

1. Preach and teach;

2. Heal; and,

3. Cast out demons.

Whether you are involved in ministry to governments, to the homeless, to the military ... on television or the Internet ... keep your ministry "triangulated" in balance with Jesus' authority that he gave you: to preach; to heal; and, to cast out demons!

Then you won't have to worry about false doctrines ... because no one can copy the works God is doing through you. The Lord will confirm the Word of God you preach with signs following ... and people who are really seeking God will come to the TRUTH!

No false teaching in the world can do all three ... present the Good News, heal, and cast out demons! Especially like you are doing when you're anointed with LOVE! False teaching is usually "lop-sided" with emphasis on either of two large errors: either you're saved by your works only; or you can sin all you want to and get away with it!

"Faith without works is dead." [James 2:14-26]

"For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith which works by love." [Galatians 5:6]

Most Christians miss their miracles right before they will happen! Reasons why people do NOT receive their MIRACLES ... real miracles. How to know the tricks of the devil to hinder your prayers being answered and what to do to make sure you receive your miracles and answers to prayer from God.

WHERE AND WHEN MOST CHRISTIANS MISS THEIR MIRACLES

Most Christians miss their miracle(s) by one hour or one day, or by one meter or one kilometer!

There are at least two reasons why Satan does not want you to receive your miracle.

First, your miracle will glorify God and be a testimony. The devil does not want anyone testifying for Christ; nor does he want anything glorifying God. The enemy hates it when you receive a miracle.

Second, your miracle will bring you JOY. The devil, Lucifer, has never had joy since he was cast out of heaven, nor will he ever have joy again. He was once very handsome; God created him that way. Now he is very ugly and has to transform himself as an angel of light. [2 Corinthians 11:14]

Jesus said, "I beheld Satan fall as lightning." [Luke 10:18] Satan does not want you to have joy because you will be strong! "The joy of the Lord is your strength." [Nehemiah 8:10]

The devil is a "spirit-being"; therefore he can recognize anointing and spiritual "breakthru" when it's building up and about to happen. If you listen to God and are led by the Holy Spirit you will be successful in obtaining your miracle(s) ... if you persevere and don't give up! If you quit, you won't win. If you don't quit, you'll win!

Lots of Christians have committed suicide right before their miracle would have happened! This is why Satan puts mental pressure on you as you approach and get nearer to your miracle. He wants to confuse your mind so you will quit, or "pull out".

The devil wants you to give-up, to stop believing God in faith, so that you will ultimately give-up - not receive your miracle - and then lose hope altogether. He may use people (Christians or non-Christians), he may use demons, or he may use circumstances to do this job.

Don't miss your miracle(s). The miracles of God are aimed at you from every direction! If you don't quit, you'll WIN!

UNLIMITED VISION AND ATTAINMENT

MUSIC / INTRO The title of this newsletter may seem oxymoronic. How can you have UNlimited goals and succeed in accomplishing them? Answer: by NOT limiting your goals. Usually the main thing people omit when establishing goals is NOT allowing for self-perpetuating growth or augmentation. Years ago I gave three automobiles away to three different ministers of the Gospel. I had walked for three years before the Lord blessed me with the first auto I gave away; and I walked in between the time I gave the others away. I am now driving the ??th automobile (I forgot how many) that the Lord has given me. Seven of the autos were Cadillacs (the most expensive auto made in the USA) and in about half of them I had loudspeaker installations. The Cadillacs were excellent for this setup because they had ample space between the front grille and the radiator to enable the sideways installation of a large 110 watt police horn speaker. Inside the cars were also installed amplifiers and secret (hidden) microphones. This way I could preach while driving and have both hands on my steering wheel. The sound was so loud from the loudspeaker that one time while driving down an interstate freeway, going about 70 mph, the cattle in a field a long way from the road even turned to look as I was preaching. In large metropolitan cities I would preach while stopping at the red lights while the crowds of pedestrians would cross the street. Sometimes people would risk getting run over and hurriedly walk (almost run) through (against) the red light just to get away from God's Word. One time while driving through the mountains the Lord impressed me to stop the car and preach on the loudspeaker. There weren't any people or buildings around that I could see but I obeyed anyway. I didn't know until a few minutes later that there were men working down the mountainside building a house. I preached to them from Hebrews 3:4, "For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God." Whenever I'm home, in the morning I step out on the roof veranda and look at some of the most beautiful buildings in the world with architecturally superb designs. Amazed at their grandeur, I also reflect on all the planning, money, risk, coordination, and time that went into building them. And I always thing of that verse in Hebrews 3:4, "For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God." When I first look at the buildings, even with my engineering background, I think, "How can men build these fantastic buildings?" And then I think, "But God built ALL things ... he made the men and the materials; and gave men the knowledge and skills needed to construct and finish them." I want to encourage you. You can do something far BIGGER than build buildings like these. You can make disciples for Messiah Yeshua and MULTIPLY your ministry / vision through many future generations.

MUSIC First of all, never get so busy that you don't have time to dream! What is that BIG work you want to do for God? You CAN DO it! "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." [Matthew 19:26] "If you can believe, all things are possible to him that believes." [Mark 9:23] "And all things, whatever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive." [Matthew 21:22] "For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God." [Hebrews 3:4] Here is one of YOUR KEYS to success: If your plans fit into God's plan ... you will have God's faith ... and God's faith always works! This is one reason it is imperative to see the importance of Israel, Jerusalem, and God's chosen people, the Jews, in the divine plan of God. For this reason, to help you, I recently wrote the newsletters "The Millennial Kingdom (Part A) and (Part B)." "When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when He separated the sons of Adam, He set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel. For the Lord's portion is His people; Jacob [Israel] is the lot of His inheritance." [ Deuteronomy 32:8-9] In my booklet, "How To Win the World for Christ," you will find seven (7) keys for reaching the whole world. Multiplication of ministry starts with the BELIEF in the potential of one person. This is where discipleship is important. K. Bruce Miller drives home this idea: "Would you spend as much time preparing yourself to meet the needs of one person as you would preparing a sermon for five thousand? How much do you believe in the potential of one?" In my teaching on "Anointing of Multiplication" you will find how to multiply your ministry. In the teaching "How to Start a Church" you will find a simple, effective way to start a synagogue or church in any neighborhood, city, barrio, or village.

A few years ago I prophesied to my oldest daughter, Ariel, that she would start teaching God's Word. I bought her a new study Bible and gave it to her. About a month later she called me and told me that the Lord was having her start teaching . She and her husband and another couple started a home Bible study with about 6 to 10 people, alternating from each home. The other couple finally felt the Lord leading to start a church, and in about three years grew to 1,500 people attending. Around 400 of those attending were new Christians, having given their lives to the Lord within the previous year.

MUSIC When you have a dream or vision that you want to accomplish for God, the main thing you need to decide on at the outset is that you will NOT quit ... you will NOT give up! If you don't quit, you'll WIN! … But if you quit, you can't win! Thomas Edison failed over 30,000 times before inventing the light bulb. The Bible says, "A just man falls seven times, and rises up again." [Proverbs 24:16] You have time, talent, and treasure with which to serve the Lord. God is watching for your faithfulness. Are you consistent in good times as well as bad? Are you BELIEVING for the accomplishment of your vision through the years when you don't SEE fruit, production, or growth? Does your plan fit into God's plan? Read Luke 11:5-15. Importunity means to keep on asking; approach God with your requests as persistent and pressing. "And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For everyone that asks, receives; and he that seeks, finds; and to him that knocks, it shall be opened." [Luke 11:9-10] Have only super BIG, positive, more-than-maximum, Unlimited goals. And ... keep enlarging them. Refuse to have small, negative, limiting thoughts, dreams, and visions. Say to yourself, "I refuse to think or envision anything negative, small, minimal, or limited." Zechariah 4:10 says, "For who has despised the day of small things?" Don't worry about STARTING small ... just make sure the goal - the vision - is BIG and unlimited. Associate with positive winners! It would be better to be alone, and hang out with Jesus, than to associate with the wrong people. There's an old saying, "If you want to see what you'll become, look at the people you're with whom you associate." This is "the law of the group." We associate ourselves with people we are like. Find somebody who is positive and successful and spend quality time with them. If you can't find anyone like that, then spend lots of time with Jesus the Messiah in fellowship, in His Word, and in prayer. I always enjoy when I can be away from people so I can spend more time talking to Jesus.

MUSIC Project yourself into your visions and goals. A successful hedging investor in the commodities futures market has to do two (2) things: 1. He has to mentally place himself in the trade; and, 2. He has to ask himself, "Do I have the product or not?" These two factors will determine the position a successful hedge investor will take. It's the same way when you plan BIG works for God: 1. You have to mentally place yourself in the vision. See yourself at each stage of the growth. Then PLAN and PRAY accordingly. Pray ahead of time for each stage of development. 2. Ask yourself (ahead of time) at each stage of the project / vision: "Do I have what I need?" If "Yes," pray and plan for the proper implementation. If "No," pray and receive in faith the people and things you need. As your vision develops and comes to pass you will need a network. A network is comprised of: Logistics; Communication; and, Funding. You need to pray ahead of time for these and receive them by faith. And don't always look at the easy way or the path of least resistance. Also, not every package that comes your way (that has your name on it) is necessarily from God. It might be from the devil. It might be from a Christian. For example, you might receive an offer of funding or help from a Christian source, but make sure you pray about it before receiving it. It may NOT be God's will. I've given lots of money back to people after they gave it to me, and sometimes when it was offered to me. Read 2 Chronicles 25:9. King Amaziah had hired 100,000 mighty men to help him fight and had paid 100 talents of silver. Afterwards the man of God told King Amaziah not to go carry out his plans to use these men. Amaziah then told the man of God, "What shall we do for the 100 talents that I have given them?" And the man of God answered him, "But God is able to give you much more than this." How LARGE can you ASK? How BIG can you THINK? "Now unto Him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ASK or THINK, according to the power that works in us ..." [Ephesians 3:20] TRY THIS VISION: A Holy Spirit baptized church or Messianic synagogue in every neighborhood and village of the earth. A Holy Spirit baptized witness in every house, home, or family of the earth.

Never let a person or a ministry or a church be your covering! Many people who had a powerful call of God on their lives have been deceived by the false covering (false discipleship) movement. Their anointing was diluted, the fire of the Spirit was quenched, and many millions of people were not reached for Christ! This teaching will expose the teachings and the calamity of the false discipleship (false covering) movement, and will protect you so that you can have a VITAL ministry!

THE FALSE COVERING MOVEMENT

In the late 1960s and into the 1970s there arose a damaging movement to the Body of Christ called The Covering movement. Another name for this group was the false discipleship movement. Satan realized he could NOT stop the great outpouring of the Spirit, so he devised a means whereby he would use a sector of the church - and some Christian leaders - to slow it down and divert it: diffusing its power and intended Kingdom result!

There were several popular teachers involved in this movement, however, not many were brilliant expositors. Their teaching went to excess so far as to be used by Satan to quench true evangelistic and prophetic ministry with the result that false prophetic ministries came into being.

Some of the excesses were as follows:

I knew a pastor who was near death in the hospital. A person was taking the pastor flowers and was told they must first submit the idea to elders.

I knew a young man who left the Midwest and came to the West Coast of the USA extremely discouraged. He had a flourishing and powerful youth ministry. He felt the Lord leading him to start a church, however, the pastor and elders of his church told him not to start it. A well known pastor friend of mine called me and asked me is I would come counsel the young man. I had just returned from a very exhausting six weeks in Africa and told my friend I would pray about it. On the third day, I called my friend and said, The Lord wants me to counsel the young man. I went to the home of the pastor, and during dinner the Spirit came upon me. I spoke to the young man and give Him the directive from the Lord: Go back there and start a church! That church has grown so large it has three (3) locations in two states (at the boundary of two states). That church has, I think, over 10,000 people now and has been sending missionaries all over the world.

I knew a powerful pastor who also had a ministry gift of evangelism. This pastor had ministered for years and moved into a new geographic area. He felt God leading him to evangelize at the local university. During the time of his getting acquainted in the new city he was fellowshipping with some brethren in a local church. He thought it would be nice to invite them to evangelize with him.

The elders of the church were involved in the covering movement and told him NOT to evangelize at the university. When he asked them what they would do IF he did so, they answered, We will come against you with everything we have in the name of Jesus! This man was one of the greatest pastors I have ever known, and who also worked with some of the best missionary organizations in the world.

Many young people, and older people coming into the call of ministry, were kept from fulfilling the will of God in their lives, as well as hindered from being used to maximum potential by the Lord.

During the 1970s the Lord sent me to around the USA and also to other countries to expose this false teaching. Lots of precious ministries were saved from shipwreck. I can think of pastors who each have thousands of people in their congregations now who were under the bondage of the false covering movement, and who saw the light as God used me to expose it. These young men and women went on to OBEY what the Lord was telling them and started their own ministries with the result of cities and nations being reached for Christ.

They came out of spiritual bondage - the trap of Satan - into FREEDOM of ministry!

The examples I gave you previously are just of few of the multitudinous extremes of this Satanic strategy.

The reason that Satan tries to get people deceived into the false covering trip is because he was once the anointed cherub who covers ... and NOW he does NOT want anyone under the covering of Jesus Christ. (Ezekiel 28:14-15)

Man is NOT your covering; neither is a ministry or a church. If you think so, try this - The next time you start to get into a wreck or have an accident, see whose name you call on: the church, a minister, or JESUS!

When the BLOOD in the Tabernacle was placed by the High Priest upon the mercy seat in the Holy Place it effected atonement. The Hebrew word for atonement is caphar and is a primitive root which means to cover, (figuratively) to cancel, to cleanse, be merciful, to forgive, and to purge.

Once a year the High Priest would go into the Holy of Holies with the BLOOD of the sin offering of atonements. It was most holy unto the LORD. The Hebrew word here used for atonements is kippur and means expiation (in the plural), or a satisfaction, or to appease for guilt or sin by sacrifice. (Exodus Chapter 30) Caphar and kippur both derive their meaning from the same Hebrew root form.

It is the same word from which the High Holy holiday Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) derives its meaning.

Make sure that the BLOOD of Jesus the Messiah is your covering. Lucifer was once the anointed cherub who covers and had authority and responsibility to protect and defend the holy mountain of God. Ezekiel 28:13 alludes to the possibility that part of his duty was to lead the choirs of Heaven in the worship of God. However, the scripture shows he wanted glory for himself and was cast down. Many in the false covering movement want glory for themselves. They are taking the position of God telling the people of God WHEN, HOW, and WHERE they can minister - even to the extent of telling them NOT to minister.

It is interesting to note that in the Revelation of Jesus to John on the island of Patmos, the Lord commended the Church of Ephesus by saying: But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I (Jesus) also hate. (Revelation 2:6)

He also told the Church of Pergamos: You also have hose who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.

The word Nicolaitans is a combination of two Greek words: nikos (meaning conqueror or victory) and laos (meaning people), which combination means people conquerors, or conquering the laity.

Christ is saying here that he hates the ministry of people conquerors. What the Holy Spirit starts, He wants to complete. Jesus purchased His people with His own BLOOD, and He does NOT want people - especially those who call themselves ministers of the Gospel - putting Christians in bondage and trying to own or control the people and the work the Holy spirit wants to do through them.

Ministers of the Gospel are to encourage and direct those the Spirit is calling and sending.

Do NOT let men take the place of the Holy Spirit in your life and ministry.

Let Messiah Jesus and His shed BLOOD be your covering. Align yourself through faith with His WILL and His PROTECTION.

Fasting will bring deliverance AND enlargement to the Body of Messiah for the End Time harvest. REPLACEMENT TIME IN THE KINGDOM MUSIC / INTRO IT’S REPLACEMENT TIME IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD ON EARTH ... NOW! In the last podcast we studied how King Ahasuerus’ servants that waited upon him suggested, and talked him into, making a decree: “Let fair young virgins be sought for the king ... and let the maiden which pleases the king be replacement for Vashti.” (Esther 1:22-2:2) The king appointed officers in all 127 provinces of his kingdom to gather beautiful young virgins to the palace at Shushan so that he could choose one to be queen to replace Queen Vashti. In Shushan the palace [city] lived a Jew named Mordecai who had been taken captive from Jerusalem under Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon. Mordecai had raised his cousin, Esther, who was orphaned after her parents died. Esther was beautiful! GOD SET THIS SITUATION UP TO BRING FORTH ESTHER AND MORDECAI – GOD SETS SITUATIONS UP TO BRING YOU FORTH Esther was ultimately chosen after at least 12 months of preparation with oil of myrrh and sweet aromas. And the king loved Esther above all the women who were candidates to replace Vashti. She obtained “grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins; so he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti.” [Esther 2:17] At this time Esther had not made known to the king that she was Jewish. In those days Mordecai, Esther’s cousin, found out that two of the king’s officers were planning to assassinate the king. Mordecai told it to Esther the queen and she let the king know, also having the matter certified in the court records. These two men were then hanged. After all these things the king promoted a man named Haman above all the princes in the kingdom, and the king commanded people to bow before Haman. But Mordecai refused to do so, and told them that he was a Jew. Eventually, people told Haman about this and he became full of anger. The people wanted to see if Mordecai would succeed; to see if there was any import to belonging to the God of Israel. Satan stirred up Haman and he then decided to destroy all the Jews, Mordecai’s people, throughout the whole kingdom, from India to Ethiopia! Haman lied to the king and convinced the king that the Jews were a bad influence in the kingdom and should be destroyed; he talked the king into letting Haman prepare a decree for their destruction in all 127 provinces. The copy of the decree was delivered by horsemen to the provinces ordering the massacre of all Jews, including women and children, on one set day and to take their material wealth. GOD KNEW ABOUT HAMAN AHEAD OF TIME AND HE KNEW THE JEWS WOULD NEED DELIVERANCE – GOD KNOWS ABOUT YOU AHEAD OF TIME AND HE KNOWS WHEN YOU NEED DELIVERANCE In every province Jews started weeping and mourning; many started fasting. The Jews were not afraid to show their emotions; the time was drawing near for their extermination. Mordecai tore his clothes, put on sackcloth, and went out into middle of the city, crying with a loud voice. Esther heard about Mordecai and sent one of the king’s officers to find out what was happening. GOD HONORS FASTING MUSIC WHEN IS THE LAST TIME YOU FASTED? FAST TO PROTECT YOURSELF, YOUR LOVED ONES, AND YOUR COUNTRY Mordecai showed the officer a copy of the decree that had been made, to show it to Esther, and to command her to go into the king to make request for mercy for her people, the Jews. But Esther sent the officer back to Mordecai to explain to him that she could not go into the king without having been called by him; it was a death sentence to do so. Also, she had not been called by the king for the last 30 days. But Mordecai answered her back: “Don’t think that you will escape in the king’s house more than all the Jews. For if you altogether hold you peace at this time, then there shall ENLARGEMENT and DELIVERANCE [from God] arise to the Jews from another place; but you and your father’s house shall be destroyed; and who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” [Esther 4:14] GOD BRINGS DELIVERANCE AND ENLARGEMENT – WHEN HE DELIVERS YOU FROM SOMETHING HE THEN PROVIDES FOR YOUR ENLARGEMENT King David said, “He brought me forth also into a large place; He delivered me, because he delighted in me.” [2 Samuel 22:20 and Psalm 18:19] After God delivered Israel from Egypt he directed them to a LARGE place of NO WANT. “When you go, you shall come unto a people secure, and to a large land: for God has given it into your hands; a place where there is no want of any thing that is in the earth.” [Judges 18:10] Then Esther sent an answer back to Mordecai saying, “Go gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan and fast for me; and don’t eat or drink for three days, night or day. I, also, and my maidens will fast the same. I will go in unto the king, which is not according to the law, and if I die, I die.” [verses 15 and 16] YOUR DECISION TO DIE TO YOUR WILL ALWAYS BRINGS YOU INTO A PLACE OF ENLARGEMENT Yeshua (Jesus) taught, “For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.” [Luke 9:24] On the third day of complete fasting, Esther went into the inner court of the king’s house and stood before him while he was on his throne. She obtained favor in his sight and he held out his golden scepter to her. The king asked her what she wanted; that it would be given her to the half of his kingdom. She then invited the king ... and Haman ... to a banquet she had prepared that day. NEVER LET YOUR ENEMY KNOW WHAT YOU’RE PLANNING At the banquet the king asked her what her request was. She then invited the king ... and Haman ... to a second banquet she would have the next day and told the king she would then make her request known. NOTICE THE IMPORTANCE OF TIMING ... AND ... OF BEING LED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD MUSIC After this first banquet, Haman went home happy but as he passed the king’s gate Mordecai would not bow down to him. This made Haman mad but he restrained himself. At home, he told his wife Zeresh and his friends about his promotion and the invitation he received to the banquet the next day. Also, he told them about passing Mordecai in the king’s gate and that Mordecai would not bow down to him. Haman’s wife and friends told him he should build a gallows 75 feet high (about 23 meters) upon which to hang Mordecai, and that he should ask the king for permission to do the same the next day at the banquet. That made Haman happy and he caused the gallows to be made. THE NEXT 24 HOURS WERE OF CRITICAL IMPORTANCE TO ESTHER AND THE JEWS – WHAT ABOUT THE NEXT 24 HOURS IN YOUR LIFE ... AND IN YOUR COUNTRY? That night the king could not sleep and he commanded someone to read the records (chronicles) of the kingdom. Written in the records he found that Mordecai had saved him from an assassination attempt; and he asked, “What honor and dignity has been done to Mordecai for this?” His servants answered, “Nothing has been done for him.” AN ANGEL PROBABLY KEPT THE KING FROM SLEEPING – GOD WAS ANSWERING THE PRAYERS AND FASTING BY THE JEWS About then Haman came into the outer court to speak to the king about hanging Mordecai. The king asked Haman, “What shall be done to the man whom the king delights to honor?” Thinking the king was talking about him, Haman answered, “Put royal clothes of the king upon him, with the royal crown, and let him ride through the city on the king’s horse.” Then the king commanded Haman to do this to Mordecai! Before it was time to go to the second banquet of Esther’s, Haman went home mourning (because of Mordecai’s success). Even his wife and friends told him, “If Mordecai be of the seed of the Jews, before whom you have begun to fall, you shall not prevail against him, but shall surely fall before him.” [Esther 6:13] NEVER PUT YOUR HAND AGAINST THE JEWS OR AGAINST ISRAEL “And I will bless them that bless you, and curse him that curses you: and in you shall all families of the earth be blessed.” [Genesis 12:3] While Haman and his wife were still talking, the king’s officer came to take Mordecai to the second banquet Esther had prepared. At the banquet, Esther told the king her petition. She told him of the plans to destroy her people, the Jews, and that wicked Haman was the adversary. Then one of the king’s servants told he king about the gallows Haman had prepared upon which he planned to hang Mordecai. The king said, “Hang him (Haman) thereon.” [Esther 7:9] On that day the king gave the house of Haman, the Jews enemy, to Queen Esther. Esther told the king that Mordecai was her cousin and that he had raised her after the death of her parents. The king took off his ring (which he had taken from Haman) and gave it to Mordecai. Esther then set Mordecai over the house of Haman. The king then told Esther and Mordecai to write a decree allowing the Jews in every province from Ethiopia to India to protect themselves and to destroy all who would attempt to harm them. They were also given permission to take plunder and take goods from their enemies. DON’T QUIT TOO SOON MUSIC The king told Esther that the Jews had destroyed 500 men in Shushan and the ten sons of Haman. Esther then made a second request: that the Jews could attack their enemies the next day, also; and she asked that the dead bodies of Haman’s sons be hanged from the gallows he had prepared for Mordecai. This request was granted. Approximately 75,800 of the Jews enemies were killed in the 127 provinces, but the Jews did not take any of their enemy’s goods. Mordecai became second in the kingdom, next to the king, and great among the Jews, and accepted of the multitude of his brethren, seeking the wealth of his people, and speaking peace to all his seed. THE DEVIL HATES ISRAEL AND THE JEWS First, because it was through the Jewish seed line that Messiah Yeshua was born. Second, the Jews are close to God’s heart: they are God’s chosen people. “For thou art a holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God has chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.” [Deuteronomy 7:6] “For the LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because you were more in number than any people, for you were the fewest of all people. But [you were chosen] because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers ...” [Deuteronomy 7:7-8] The devil showed his hatred of the Jews in Nazi Germany when he had 6,000,000 killed under Adolph Hitler. SATAN HAS REPEATED THIS PLAN THROUGHOUT THE CENTURIES – HE DID NOT WANT THE DELIVERER FROM ZION, MESSIAH YESHUA, TO BE BORN The enemy tried to destroy the Hebrew boys in Moses’ day under Pharaoh. The enemy tried to destroy the Hebrew boys in Esther’s day under Haman. The enemy tried to destroy the Hebrew boys in Jesus’ day under King Herod. In the Torah we read, “And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.” (Torah, Genesis 2:18)

Now … the word “Helpmeet” means different things to different people:

To Adam, it meant “Servant.”

To Eve it meant “Men need help!”

To G-d, it means, “Vengeance is mine!” (that’s a joke)

But the original root meaning of that word in the original Hebrew language is “aw-zar,” and it means “to surround; to help.” (It’s nice to have someone around to surround you at times, to help you.)

Notice the first command God gave to Adam and Eve: “Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it.” (Torah: Genesis 1:28) They were to replenish not only the Garden, but humankind. Not, necessarily “kind humans” but children!!!

There’s an old saying, “It takes two parents to make one good child.”

After I wrote my thesis, I was told by two different doctors in two different states of the USA (in writing) the same as that I would never have children. Like Abraham, I just believed G-d that He would give me a child. When the wife was not pregnant by two months after we were married I called an orphanage to see if we could adopt; but was turned down.

Well, finally about 18 months later I was working on the lawn and the wife came downstairs and told me, “I'm pregnant.” I was so excited that I ran around a whole city block praising God. It took me about, probably, 7 to 10 minutes. When I returned, the wife was crying because she thought that when she told me she was pregmant I ran away!! Well, I have had seven (7) children since then!

Eve experienced the FIRST pains of childbirth. If you are a parent, you have undoubtedly experienced pains or sadness resulting from something that has happened to your child(ren). Giving life hurts, including spiritual life: helping others find and grow in the LORD … but JOY overrides any pain attributed to the life process.

One time, two of my daughters cut my hair – more correctly a hole in my hair - while I was sleeping. That was really a wonderful experience because I had to speak at a meeting in about two hours.

Another time, after an exhausting two weeks of outreach at the Olympics, while I was sleeping, two of my daughters put pink crème on my ears and were massaging them, trying to shape them like a Doberman’s trimmed ears (pointed straight up!). I think they wanted me to tryout for StarTrek.

On another occasion, one of my sons set the bed on fire underneath his mother while she was sleeping. (I haven’t figured that one out yet!)

I wonder what – not only sins, but stupid things - we have done to our LORD who stills is pleased to call us His children.

The Bible tells us the Messiah Yeshua, because of the JOY set before Him, endured the pain of the cross-stake.

“Looking unto Yeshua, the author and finisher of our faith; who for the JOY that was set before him endured the cross-stake, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” (Hebrews 12:2)

Because Messiah Jesus saw YOU and me having our sins forgiven because of what He was going to do (even with the suffering) on the cross-stake, He was willing to endure the PAIN and SUFERING of the Roman crucifixion.

WHAT IS IT YOU’RE GOING THROUGH TODAY, MY FRIEND?

I’M AWARE THAT I’M SPEAKING TO SOMEONE WHO IS ABOUT READY TO QUIT.

YOU HAVE BEEN MISTREATED … MISUNDERSTOOD … MISMANAGED … BUT MISINFORMED!

G-d has placed me in your path this day to tell you that it is NOT the people doing it to you … it is Satan, your enemy. Your are NOT listening to me by mistake, my friend.

The people who are attacking you are only instruments. God will deal with them. Their feet shall slide in due time.

But YOU must deal with the devil. And, I have GOOD NEWS for you! The LORD has given you authority over Satan. Use the name of Jesus and the Word of God against the devil. The devil is NO match for you when you are under the anointing of G-d. Jesus said, “Behold, I give unto you power … over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” (Luke 10:19)

He also said, “Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the demons are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in Heaven.” (Verse 20)

Yeshua commanded YOU and me, His followers: “Whatsoever you shall bind on earth shall already have been bound in heaven: and whatever you shall loose on earth shall already have been loosed in heaven.” (Literal Greek translation from the Brit Chadashah, Hebrew New Testament: Matthew 18:18)

Messiah Yeshua did an unassisted triple play on a man who was: 1. Demon possessed; 2. Blind; and, 3. Could not speak. Immediately, the religious leaders accused Yeshua of casting out demons by the Prince of demons (Satan). Jesus answered them, “How can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? And then he will spoil his house.” In other words: bind Satan first, then go after his demons. Go after the demons who tell lies about you, or attack your finances, or your integrity … or who try to hinder you in anyway. Bind the strong man (Satan) and cast him out along with his demons that try to hinder you.

Here’s WHAT to do:

First, PRAY and plead (as in a LEGAL court pleading) the BLOOD of Messiah (or, Christ) over your situation.

Second, COMMAND the devil and his demons in the name of JESUS to depart … tell the devil and his evil spirits that Jesus is your LORD and you now APPLY the BLOOD of Jesus Christ against Satan and his hosts. Say it like this:

“Satan ... Yeshua, the Messiah of Israel, is my LORD, and I APPLY His BLOOD that was shed on the cross for my sins against you, Satan and against all of your demons that would try to hinder me. I cast you and your demons out – away – from hindering me, and I remind you, Satan, of your future: which is Hell, the Lake of Fire … forever.”

Friend, if your life goals are set around ETERNAL things … things that last … like helping others to find The Way to Heaven … then you will at times experience some pain or hurt. But remember, “Weeping may endure for the night, but JOY comes in the morning.” (Psalm 30:5)

GIVING LIFE TO OTHERS (YOUR BIOLOGICAL CHILDREN AS WELL AS YOUR SPIRITUAL CHILDREN) SOMETIMES HURTS. HOWEVER, YOU ALWAYS HAVE POWER OVER THE DEVIL AND HIS DEMONS IN THE NAME OF JESUS WHO GIVES YOU AUTHORITY. BUT REMEMBER … YOUR REAL JOY SHOULD BE BECAUSE YOUR NAME IS WRITTEN IN HEAVEN. (AND … THE NAMES OF THOSE WHO RECEIVE MESSIAH THROUGH YOUR HELP ARE ALSO WRITTEN DOWN IN HEAVEN.)

HOW TO CREATE AND IMPLEMENT IN THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

To SEE with the mind's eye … that is, to envision … can encompass the following: imagination, thinking, and decision making. To "cut out" with the mind's eye is to SEE IT, or to THINK IT upon the tablet of your heart or human spirit.

In Job 22:28 we read, "You shall also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto you…" In the original Hebrew language the word "decree" is a primitive root form of the word "gazar", which means "to cut out exclusively, or to decide". In its primitive form it is used also as a "quarrying" term … as in cutting out stone from a rock quarry. It means more than to "say" or "speak". It conveys the meaning of "cutting something out in your mind's eye"; that is, "to envision [to make a vision], to decide upon it, and confess it" … and then it will be established unto you!

To decree is the progenitor of heart belief and mouth confession. It is BOTH the nucleus and "all-encompassing" embryo of initiating great moves of the Holy Spirit on Planet Earth. This is why we need to SPEND TIME MEDITATING GOD'S WORD. We're NOT talking about New Age type meditation, which can actually be used, and even energized, by demonic forces. We're talking about MEDITATING God's Word so we KNOW HOW to work in alignment with our Father in Heaven, Jehovah.

When we meditate the Word of God we learn His principles; we also learn WHAT He wants (what His will is for the nations and for us). We also learn how to please Him by living holy and doing His will: reaching people and nations for Christ. Then we can DECREE a thing because we have decided upon it … we have cut it out in our mind's eye. We therefore BELIEVE it in our heart: the Holy Spirit has impressed the Will of the Father upon our mind and deposited it in our human spirit.

We have seen the Will of God in our mind's eye and have decided to implement it. We decree it by seeing, believing, and speaking. We ACT on our decision after we have HEARD from God … and it comes to pass. We PLAN in the Spirit; we IMPLEMENT in the Spirit. We BELIEVE and KNOW that it will come to pass and therefore we RECEIVE it for the glory of the Father.

Faith is wonderful … but it's even better when you have a PLAN to go along with your faith. If YOUR PLAN fits into GOD'S PLANS, you will have God's faith … and God's faith ALWAYS WORKS! In the next sesion we will discuss HOW to "turn the tide" … HOW to enter into the realm of the MIRACULOUS: where historical, earth-shaking, victories are won BY … and FOR … the glory of God!

I trust this teaching has helped you to reach the God given goals in your heart!

HOW TO FINISH – THE ANSWER TO GANG VIOLENCE AND ANARCHY

INTRODUCTION

Last week many of us saw the video of a young teenager – an honor student - who was murdered by other teenagers in Chicago. His name was Derrion Albert, and I am dedicating this podcast / teaching to Derrion and his family.

FIRST, let me say to you that I have the answer to gang violence. Let me give you a few examples:

Gene Browning was a Black Muslim who hated whites. He was an all state football tackle. On Saturdays Gene would go to the park with his Doberman Pinscher dog and wait until a white person would come by with their dog. Then Gene would turn his Doberman loose on them. Hungry for the truth, Gene turned his life over to the REAL Jesus (not the Muslim Jesus) and became a dynamic Christian leader working with university students. Later he started ministry in government circles and prisons (is there any difference in the two anymore) as a Bible teacher and as a commodities broker in Washington, D.C. Gene and his wife, Shirley, gave me a beautiful automobile as a gift of love (even though I'm white!). That's REAL redistributive wealth!

Tom Skinner grew up in Harlem, and influenced by the Black Nationalists, a Black supremacy group. He became leader of the Harlem Lords gang in New York City and led the gang in more than fifteen large-scale gang fights, and they never lost, even though there were only 130 in the gang. Tom was preparing strategy one night for what was to be the largest gang fight ever to take place in New York City. (Five gangs were uniting together to fight a bunch of gangs from the other side of the city. If he succeeded in leading the gang bangers to victory in this fight, he would emerge as the leader of this alliance of Harlem gangs - the most powerful teenage gang leader in the city.)

Tom heard a preacher unexpectedly while listening to a DJ on the radio; as a result he decided to put Jesus' claims to a test. He was confronted with the REVOLUTIONARY TRUTH and gave his life to the REAL REVOLUTIONARY: Jesus (the Messiah of Israel). He quit the Harlem Lords and later started evangelistic meetings in his own turf, Harlem, at such places as the Apollo Theater. The Lord groomed Tom so that he had opportunities to speak to - and influence - countless individuals, groups, and organizations, ranging from members of Congress to the New York Yankees to officials at IBM Corporation. He also served as chaplain for the Washington Redskins. Some of Tom's publications are:

Black and Free (1968), Words of Revolution (1970), How Black is the Gospel (1970), If Christ is the Answer, What are the Questions? (1974)

The Crips Gang in Los Angeles used to have several of their members who came to my Bible studies on Friday nights. Many were touched and changed by the POWER of the Holy Spirit.

Clayton Joyner, an African-American, was my best friend. We used to preach together to the Black Panthers and the Black Muslims and the gangs in downtown Los Angeles. Clayton was black and I was white (still am). Blacks and Whites and Hispanics and Asians finally got used to Clayton and I hugging each other and praising God in the open air. When he would buy a new suit or sport coat he would buy me one (I didn't have any money). Finally, years later I was able to give him an automobile. That's REAL redistributive wealth!

Bob Selby was a friend of mine who was a gun runner and weapons stockpiler for the Weather Underground (close associates to the Obama Whitehouse). Bob was reading literature while in jail that showed him that there was a real Hell and that God loved us and sent His own Son, Messiah Yeshua, as the sacrifice for our sins. Bob prayed and gave his life to Christ in that jail. He then went to the Sheriff and took him to where this cache of munitions and guns were stored. I later had the privilege to speak in "standing room only" crowds for Bob telling young people about the REAL revolutionary: Jesus, the Messiah of Israel.

These examples I have just given prove that there IS an answer to gang warfare and inner city violence … and anarchy.

MUSIC

SECOND, let me say to you that the government will NOT do anything about it except fund programs and allow photo-ops like the one last week in Chicago with Attorney General Eric Holder (who wouldn't even go visit ground zero; he was safely in the swank Four Seasons Hotel off Michigan Avenue while meeting with "community leaders"). If Obama had enough interest in his own home town as he did in flying to Copenhagen, he would be a man and go talk to the gang bangers in Chicago … at least reach out to them. He would do something about it. (After all, it's a shorter flight to Chicago than Copenhagen … or does commercialism outweigh needy children? What happened to PURE socialism?)

I noticed Obama's pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, wasn't active in reaching out to the gang bangers … nor was Obama's associate (for helping the oppressed) in his neighborhood, William Ayers. However, it is obvious the President is only interested in programs that can advance his socialist agenda. Like Marx and Engels, it appears that Obama is NOT really interested in the people - even needy children in his hometown - except as a tool of the collective for promoting his own socialist programs.

Before you judge me for my statements, let me say that I love the President. I pray for him ad his wife, Michelle, and their daughters, Malia and Sasha, every day. (How often do you pray for them?) If you love someone you will speak the TRUTH. THE ANSWER While in prayer during the writing of this message, I had a vision. The vision was of a dry, extremely parched, land. It was so parched that there were deep cracks throughout the land where the dry ground had separated due to lack of moisture. The deep cracks were consistently spaced every foot (30 centimeters) or so apart, with smaller cracks between them. It was truly a "dry barren land." However, in the middle of the land there was a fresh bright stalk of corn with ears ready to open and leaves luxuriantly bright from perfect nourishment. Then, from the stalk of corn there began to come forth not only its own fruit (other ears of corn) but ALSO moisture which watered the dry parched ground ... and then, to my amazement, other stalks of corn began to rise up from the ground and to grow and flourish. Then God spoke to me: "This is a picture of the future of many people [who will listen to this podcast]. Many are productive now ... but nothing compared to what will be happening through them in the future. On the other hand, many have given up; they once had a vision that I gave them for their ministry. Some of them have seen others fulfilling what they once prayed and fasted about doing, seeking my face for the fulfillment of the same. But the enemy of mankind and of all righteousness has discouraged them. He has spent years planning attacks against them, even using those who at one time were their friends, companions, or fellow ministers. Some of them have fallen due to sin, disobedience, misunderstanding, and attacks due to jealousy of enemies; and, some of the enemies have been My people. But I am about to rearrange the lives of the faithful ones: the ones who have persevered. They are going to be like the fresh bright stalks of corn with ears ready to open and leaves luxuriantly bright from perfect nourishment. I have seen their discouragement and disappointment. I have seen the attacks of the enemy, even the attacks of My people against them. And just as Joseph's brothers meant it for evil, I MEANT IT FOR GOOD THAT I MIGHT SAVE MANY PEOPLE spiritually, mentally, and physically. I am about to deliver many people - masses of people, hundreds of millions of people - from among the nations, tribes, and families of the earth. Tell My people there is hope, to seek my face again, and to START NOW. I will use them GREATLY and in ways they have not expected." That is the vision and the message the Lord gave me. Now ... if that applies to you, where do you go from here? 1. START NOW It doesn't matter if your ministry is one of the five-fold gifts to the church as apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, or teacher ... or whether you have the ministry of helps ... or whether you are involved in a labor of love that is hidden from the eyes of many. You are to START NOW believing God for the anointing upon the work you are doing to bring torrential rains of the Spirit upon mankind. And PRAY that it is multiplied around the world. Get SERIOUS about yourself, your ministry, and your influence!

MUSIC "Behold, the former things are coming to pass, and NEW things do I declare: before they spring forth I will tell you of them." [Isaiah 42:9] The Hebrew word "chadash" for "new" here means exactly that: "new, fresh, a new thing." The God of Israel doesn't deal in stale commodities; He is the Creator. He is going to create NEW works through you ... and He will get ALL the glory. You and everyone around you will know it's not you. The Holy Spirit is God's agent on Planet Earth to supply the resurrection power of Messiah Yesua. START NOW asking God what you can do to be a "nesting place" for the Holy Dove. If nothing comes to mind right away, then start with humility! 2. FIGHT If God is telling you to start now, that means He is going to help you and nobody can successfully withstand you. "What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?" [Romans 8:31] The Greek word "kata" here for "against" denotes opposition, distribution, or intensity. Many times the devil will distribute evil agents to oppose you, with the goal of destroying you and thereby nullifying the work of God through you. Sometimes these agents will attack you from different sources and avenues simultaneously. Since the NEW work which God will be doing through you is GREATER than anything you have been involved with in the past, the opposition is [super]naturally going to be greater. This verse in Romans 8:31 is literally telling you in the original language in which it was written that God regards YOU as the very chiefest ... very highly ... and for YOUR SAKE He is FOR YOU! If you're experiencing weariness then cast it away in Jesus' name. It is no more than an attack of Satan: a lie of Satan to get you to believe you can't go on, that you can't take on any NEW work(s). If you are plagued with gossip as a result of past sins or disobedience then turn to your Father in Heaven and remind yourself of His love and forgiveness. Then remind the devil of his future. If you're experiencing doors shut to you by men and committees of men, rejoice. Those shut doors are just direction for you into the GREAT OPEN DOORS of ministry for God in these last days! But since you KNOW that God has commanded you to START NOW and that He is FOR YOU, then all you have to do is be willing to FIGHT the good fight of faith. Stop global whimping! Stand up and fight. And, after you have done all, STAND. "Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." [Ephesians 6:13] The Greek word "histaymee" here for "stand" means "to continue, covenant, establish, hold up." 3. BELIEVE The only one that can cause you to lose is YOU! Jesus said unto him, "If you can BELIEVE, all things are possible to him that believes." [Mark 9:23] Put some MIRACLES in your account. Use your faith to put supplies and people (everything and everyone) you need "in trust" ... that is, in "YOUR heavenly bank account" ahead of time. That's what the word "believe" in Mark 9:23 means [Greek "pisteuo"]. Have FAITH ... establish some credit ahead of time ... by believing and receiving what you need ahead of time. Be specific! "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them." [Mark 11:24] The word "lambano" here for "receive" means "to take, to get hold of, attain, obtain." The SECRET is WHEN YOU PRAY! That's the TIME to RECEIVE! When you're in your prayer closet that's the TIME to receive those BIG things from God ... some may come into play years later ... but you receive in faith NOW ... WHEN you pray ... and you SHALL have it! Later in the day, the devil will try to challenge your faith and tell you "Those things you prayed for this morning are TOO BIG ... God isn't going to do that for YOU!" That's when you want to say to the devil, "Thank you, Mr. Liar, for reminding me that I RECEIVED those things in my prayer time this morning; now I KNOW I have them ... Jesus, The Truth, promised me." The only one who can cause you to win is YOU! God is already FOR YOU; that is a given fact! You KNOW this ... now YOU are the one who must do your part: START NOW ... SEEK HIS FACE ... FIGHT ... BELIEVE ... ACT!

MUSIC 4. DREAM BIG Dream BIG ... it may be your last chance! "Call unto me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you know not." [Jeremiah 33:3] My transliteration of Jeremiah 33:3 is as follows: Call God out by His name, cry out ["qara"] to Him, pronounce to Him your cause. He will pay attention to you with His eye and respond to you ["hanah"] by announcing His answer. He will manifest to you boldly ["nagad"] exceedingly great things ["gadol-gadol"] that are strong and inaccessible ["batsar"] to you except by His miracles. "Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us ..." [Ephesians 3:20] How BIG can you ask? How BIG can you think? Start challenging God. Quit insulting your Father. Give your Heavenly Father the opportunity to show you Who He is! Litigate. Go to the Heavenly Court. Plead with God. Tell Him you are wanting to be involved with His program to bless the nations: to reach the world for Messiah Yeshua. Tell Him you won't take anything LESS than every nation, tribe, tongue and dialect for your Lord! "Put me in remembrance: let us plead together. You make a declaration, so that you may be justified." [Isaiah 43:26] 5. LIVE HOLY Set yourself apart so that you can be used for "special" works for the Lord. "If a man therefore purge himself from these [dishonorable practices], he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work." [2 Timothy 2:21] "Sanctified" [Greek: "hagiazo"] means purified or consecrated. Resist the devil. Realize the enemy's tactics. Remind yourself, "The enemy is a liar and a loser!" Give glory to God by living holy. Through holy living you accomplish the following: You please God; You establish a testimony; You enable yourself to be used for "special" works. EXHORTATION For those of you who are "starting again" let me encourage you. You will be stronger this time. You will have the "eye of the tiger." The enemy will never take you captive again .. and he will never take you alive! You've already been close to death at the hands of the enemy. You will never let it happen again. You will be one of God's key generals. You will serve Him out of love, appreciation, and thanksgiving. If God used Moses (who was a murderer and repented) and if God used King David (who was both an adulterer and murderer who repented), then God can use you! On the last day of his life Samson killed more of the enemy Philistines that in the previous times of battle. Let God avenge you for the times the enemy has wounded you! "For the Lord God will help me, therefore shall I not be confounded. Therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed. He is near that justifies me; who will contend with me? Let us stand together: who is my adversary? Let him come near to me. Behold, the Lord God will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? Lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up." [Isaiah 50:7-9] "And even to your old age I am He; and even to grayish-white hair will I carry you. I have made and I will bear; even I will carry, and I will deliver you." [Isaiah 46:4] "Behold, all they that were incensed against you shall be ashamed and confounded; they shall be as nothing. And they that strive with you shall perish." [Isaiah 41:11]

SELF DELIVERANCE: HOW TO DELIVER YOURSELF MUSIC / INTRO Through the years I have known cases of MIRACLES of deliverance which happened as a result of self deliverance. These were cases where the person suffered repeated defeat . . . as a Christian . . . in such areas as repeated sinful practice, lack of productivity, self depredation, or a false sense of inferiority. These were cases of sincere Christians who lived for the Lord, loved Him and feared Him, and who WANTED and KNEW they needed help. These were also cases where the person KNEW how to pray for the deliverance of others. One day, years ago, the Lord revealed to me how to share with people like this the principle of self deliverance. It was amazing. I trust this teaching will help you to help others achieve the COMPLETE FREEDOM the Master purchased with His BLOOD! This is a short, but very effective and useful, teaching. If the content of this message is not for you at this time, then save/file or print it out to have on hand so that you may access it in the future for someone who needs it. I have known cases where people have been "bogged down" in sin, poverty, or repeated defeat, and have been instantly delivered through using the information described in this teaching. You probably have never read the information contained in this teaching. The reason: lack of knowledge in this area. Other than the Lord Jesus Christ, WHAT PERSON can pray for someone with such compassion and determination - and intimate knowledge of the problem(s) involved - than one's self? Someone you know probably needs this message NOW. Think of someone you know who has had a repeated problem over a long period of time . . . or shorter, since having been born again . . . but has NOT received freedom from, or over, their problem. The content of this teaching may be the answer for them; however, there are CONDITIONS that apply: 1. They must be a born again believer; 2. They must believe in The Deliverer, Jesus: in His POWER and WILLINGNESS to deliver them; 3. They must know how to deliver others (even if they never have); and, 4. They must really want deliverance. MUSIC There are several examples of the practice of, and the provisionary promise for, deliverance in the Holy Bible, in the lives of Jesus, Paul and the apostles, and Christians today. Many of you are familiar with these, but for those people that aren't, I will describe some of them briefly here: JESUS "Then was brought unto Him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb [speechless]: and He healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both was then able to speak and see." [Matthew 12:22] In this case the combined conditions of being blind and dumb were probably the result of an evil spirit of affliction, as we know from this passage that the man had been possessed with a demon. Even in a Christian's life, although a demon is NOT possessing them - Christ is possessing them - their might be a case of a spirit of sickness afflicting them. Not in all cases, but in some cases! And the spirit can be dealt with successfully in the name of Jesus, thereby effecting their deliverance and resultant healing. "And Jesus rebuked the devil: and the demoniac being departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour." [Matthew 17:18] PAUL AND THE APOSTLES "And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: The same followed Paul and us, and cried out, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which show unto us the way of salvation. And this she did many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour." [Acts 16:16-18] "And God worked special miracles by the hands of Paul: so that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out from them." [Acts 19:11-12] NOTE: An afflicting spirit may be sent for other reasons than those examples above. It may have an assignment from the enemy to cause fear, a false sense of inferiority, or a lack of believing for success. It may be some SEEMINGLY SMALL stronghold that has kept the Christian from excelling, succeeding, or being productive over the years . . . or entrapped in a practice. MUSIC CHRISTIANS TODAY "And these signs shall follow THEM THAT BELIEVE, In My name shall they cast out demonic beings, they shall speak with new tongues . . ." [Mark 16:17] There are basically three (3) REASONS a person might want to utilize self deliverance. 1. They really want deliverance. 2. Nothing else has worked for them. 3. They keep having the same struggles and/or practicing the same unclean practices even though they INTENTLY REPENT after each instance. WHAT THEY NEED TO DO IN PREPARATION 1. Develop a REASON, a motive, for wanting deliverance. This is also something they can review, or reflect upon, from time to time to enforce the desire to remain free. Study "The Power of a Separated Life" by Apostle Handley. This may be obtained by going to the Archives in The Apostles Group and selecting this title dated February 14, 2004. 2. Know their deliverance is THE WILL of God and is part of Christ's ministry. Jesus sent out his apostles to: Preach and teach; Heal; and, Cast out demons. If a person knows Jesus Christ as their Lord, NO demon, NO evil spirit can have them! Jesus said, "If the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed." The Greek word here used for "indeed" [ontos] means "really, actually." 3. Study "How To Be Delivered" by Apostle Handley. This teaching may be obtained at www.realmiracles.org. This may also be accessed by login to The Apostles Group and going to the Archives. There you may select the newsletter titled "How To Be Delivered" dated July 21, 2002. (Or, type in the words "How To Be Delivered" in the "Search" box at the top of the Archives.) Deliverance belongs to the born again believer! To "deliver" is to "set free." Jesus said, "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." [John 8:32] Some people are bound by demons (spirits) of infirmity, or sickness. Self deliverance may usually be effected in the same manner described below in the section "How To Minister Self Deliverance," especially with the "laying on of hands" being visualized in self deliverance. However, some cases are not resolved immediately because of "hindrances" to healing. These hindrances, as well as "gifts of healing" are covered fully in the unabridged book by Prince Handley titled: Health and Healing: Complete Guide to Wholeness. MUSIC

There are also demon spirits which bind people financially, and in other areas of life. Good News: the BLOOD of Christ is effective in these areas - as in all areas - of life. In 2 Peter 1:4 we read that God has given to us "exceeding great and precious promises: that by these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust." One other solution that I have seen successful in problems of uncleanness or immorality . . . the person has to really be serious and KNOW what they're doing . . . is for the person to PROMISE God they will never take part in that practice, or habit, again. "When thou make a vow to God, defer not [put off or postpone] to pay it; for He has no pleasure in fools: pay that which you have vowed." [Ecclesiastes 5:4] HOW TO MINISTER SELF DELIVERANCE 1. See yourself in the midst of that problem. 2. See yourself laying hands on yourself, exorcizing the demon spirit(s) that oppress you. 3. See yourself delivered [free] from that problem. SUGGESTION: You can also use the above to BLESS YOURSELF scripturally. That is, releasing the blessings of God in and upon yourself based upon scriptural truths and promises and with right motives: to build yourself up that you might serve the Lord more effectively, edify the Body of Christ, and reach the world for Christ! Also, to be a blessing to your loved ones. This is NOT a "mind game;" nor is it new age meditation or visualization. You are actually and literally ministering deliverance and blessing to yourself . . . IN FAITH . . . and through the power of the Holy Spirit. However, instead of praying for someone else, you're SEEING yourself in that place. It works! Real miracles result where Jesus the Messiah receives ALL the glory and His Kingdom is extended through holiness.
