On Labor Day, September 2, 1946, the AAA National Championship cars made their first post-war appearance at the one-mile Lakewood Speedway dirt track in Atlanta, Georgia.  The race started with plenty of excitement, but it ended in tragedy.  This week, host Brandon Reed talks about that race, and how he became fascinated with it, leading to an investigation into what actually occurred all those years ago.
