The Boston Celtics secured a convincing season sweep of their historic rivals with a 111-89 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers. Jaylen Brown led the charge with a stellar all-around performance, tallying 32 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists. However, the story of the night was Payton Pritchard, who caught fire from deep to score 30 points, including six 3-pointers. Pritchard’s clutch step-back triple with just over three minutes remaining iced the game and sent the Los Angeles crowd to the exits early.

Beyond the scoring outbursts from Brown and Pritchard—who combined for 38 points in the second half alone—the Celtics’ defense was stifling, holding the Lakers to their second-lowest point total of the season. Boston now looks to carry this momentum into Tuesday’s matchup against the Phoenix Suns as they continue their West Coast road trip.
