  • Doubleview Gold Corp's Hat Project Drilling Program Exceeds 7,500 Meters, Awaiting Assay Results
Doubleview Gold Corp CEO Farshad Shirvani joined Steve Darling from Proactive to provide an update on the company’s 2024 drilling program at the Hat polymetallic mineral deposit in Northern British Columbia, which has now surpassed 7,500 meters and is continuing. Shirvani shared with Proactive that the first assay results from the 2024 drilling season are expected soon.
The drilling program aims to expand the mineral resource, address areas with limited drilling data, and extend the deposit's lateral and depth boundaries, which remain open in all directions. Visual results from the drilling align with the projections from the block model, giving confidence in the resource's potential. The Hat deposit contains key critical minerals defined in Canada's Critical Minerals Strategy, including copper, cobalt, and possibly scandium, along with other minerals.
This ongoing work is expected to significantly enhance understanding of the deposit and move it closer to potential future development.

  • Canoo Inc shifts focus to fleet vehicles, secures high-profile clients like Walmart and NASA
Canoo Inc Chief Financial Officer Greg Ethridge joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss the company's evolving strategy and growth. Founded in 2017, Canoo is a mobility company specializing in delivering hardware and software solutions for commercial and government fleet opportunities, moving away from its original consumer-facing approach.
Ethridge highlighted significant partnerships with top-tier clients, including Walmart, NASA, and the US Postal Service, as part of the company’s shift toward sustainability-focused fleet vehicles. Canoo's compact, high-payload electric vehicles are gaining traction internationally, especially in the UK market, where the design is well-suited for navigating narrow roads and tight turns, making them ideal for Europe.
Ethridge also noted Canoo’s Foreign Trade Zone status, which helps reduce manufacturing costs and enhance its competitiveness in global markets. The company has been actively building relationships and conducting pilot programs in the UK over the past six months, receiving positive feedback.
Looking ahead to 2025, Ethridge outlined milestones in production and sales that position Canoo for further growth in both domestic and international markets.

  • AuMEGA Metals fields high-grade copper at Bunker Hill Project
AuMEGA Metals Ltd (ASX:AAM) managing director and CEO Sam Pazuki joins Proactive’s Tylah Tully to discuss initial high-grade assay results from its Bunker Hill Project in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, as part of limited first-pass prospecting.
Key highlights include two outcropping vein samples containing 17.2% copper, 16.9 g/t silver and 0.41 g/t gold, and another with 12.4% copper, 19.1 g/t silver and 0.56 g/t gold.
The project, along the Cape Ray Shear Zone (CRSZ), identified two large intrusive units, including the Nitty Gritty Granite, which may suggest porphyry mineralisation potential. Historic samples in the area revealed peak values of 57% copper, 17.05 g/t gold and 407.5 g/t silver.
The company's recent activities include a completed airborne magnetic survey and a till geochemistry survey with assay results pending. The findings suggest significant copper-gold-silver mineralisation along nearly a kilometre of strike and further exploration plans, potentially including RC and diamond drilling, are under consideration.
AuMEGA Metals is focused on advancing greenfield exploration targets along the CRSZ, which holds multi-million-ounce gold potential.

  • Ionic Rare Earths secures $2.46m in grants for magnet recycling collaboration
Ionic Rare Earths Ltd managing director Tim Harrison joins Proactive’s Tylah Tully to discuss the company’s new grant funding.
The company has secured A$2.46 million in grants the UK Government and was chosen to lead a magnet recycling solution collaboration. IXR subsidiary, Ionic Technologies, has received £843,000 for the 'REEValuate' Project in partnership with Less Common Metals (LCM) and Vacuumschmelze (VAC), aimed at producing 100% recycled rare earth alloys for permanent magnets.
The UK Government selected Ionic Rare Earths to lead the 'MAGNOSTIC' collaboration, which focuses on advanced demagnetisation solutions for end-of-life permanent magnets. This project, valued at £422,000, will be carried out with the Materials Processing Institute and Swansea University, with Ionic Rare Earths directly benefiting from £178,000 in funding.
Harrison emphasised the importance of these collaborations in establishing sustainable rare earth supply chains in Western markets, aligning with global policies like the EU Critical Raw Materials Act and the US Inflation Reduction Act. The new funding will also support Ionic Technologies' demonstration projects, contributing to the development of a circular economy for critical raw materials.
The company’s recycling technology is advancing, with plans for significant magnet recycling activities through mid-2025.

  • Galileo Mining hits promising palladium platinum zones at Norseman Project
Galileo Mining Ltd (ASX:GAL, OTC:GLMGF) managing director Brad Underwood  joins Proactive’s Tylah Tully to discuss the company’s encouraging results from its reverse circulation (RC) drilling at the Norseman Project in Western Australia.
In August and September, GAL conducted 2,100 metres of drilling, targeting geophysical and geochemical anomalies. This work resulted in the discovery of palladium and platinum-bearing sulphide mineralisation in zones near the Callisto resource.
    Significant results include 8 metres at 0.21 g/t 3E (palladium, platinum, gold) from 128 metres (NRC505), 20 metres at 0.18 g/t 3E from 180 metres (NRC502), and 36 metres at 0.14 g/t 3E from 128 metres (NRC501).
The results support two mineralisation models: Callisto-style sulphide mineralisation and mineralisation at the boundary between mafic and ultramafic rock units.
According Underwood, the mineralisation is widely distributed across the project area. The company plans to conduct a 5,000-metre aircore drilling program in November, targeting the 10-kilometre strike of the Mission Sill prospect, which shares geological similarities with Callisto, to explore for palladium, platinum, and nickel.

  • Royal Road Minerals CEO Tim Coughlin on Saudi exploration boost
Royal Road Minerals Ltd (TSX-V:RYR, OTC:RRDMF) CEO Tim Coughlin talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company's joint venture in Saudi Arabia, Royal Road Arabia, and its qualification for the country's Exploration Enablement Program. This initiative is designed by the Saudi government to promote grassroots exploration, reimbursing expenses up to $2 million for the first five years of exploration licenses.
Coughlin discussed the significance of this program for the company's Jabal Sahabiyah project, which includes three exploration licenses, all of which qualify for the program. He mentioned that this support is crucial, especially in a financial sector that has largely overlooked early-stage exploration in favour of advanced projects in recent years.
Coughlin emphasised the need for financial sectors to refocus on exploration, citing a recent S&P report indicating that only 14 significant copper discoveries were made in the last decade. He expressed optimism that interest in exploration is reviving, not only from Saudi Arabia but also from other sectors.
