The Shanghai upgrade of the Ethereum blockchain has caused a stir in the cryptocurrency market, with many speculating that the release of billions of dollars in staked Ethereum could have a massive impact on the price of the second-largest cryptocurrency. The upgrade is expected to enhance Ethereum's scalability and lead to gradual changes that won't be hugely disruptive.
