The FTSE 100 is trending lower so far this morning, with commodity and mining stocks under pressure from slow economic growth figures out of China.
Back here in the UK the CEO of Shell Wael Sawan says the US is now a more attractive proposition for energy investment than the UK. The London stock exchange’s most valuable company is rumoured to be seeking a stateside primary listing.
In a similar vein, WANdisco has confirmed it is looking to list its shares in the US. The software company has responded to recent press speculation which said bankers have been hired to prepare for a New York listing.
And further down the food chain Pantheon Resources are saying its Alkaid-2 well supports the case for commercial development of the project in Alaska, while material technologists Versarien say they’ve created a headwall for highway projects using a 3D printer.
