British Gas owner Centrica has been slammed by OfGEM however, after it was discovered that some of its third-party contractors have been forcefully entering empty homes to install prepayment metres.
Over in the US, Apple, Amazon and Google owner Alphabet have all reported lower-than-expected revenues, in another sign that the tech sector is having a tough time of it.
